Some awkward questions about the Nashville explosion

We interrupt Walt's yearend review to ask innocent questions re the news out of Nashville. In case you were sleeping off the Christmas cheer and missed it, Metro Nashville police officers responded around the dawn of Christmas Day to a report of shots fired in the downtown Nashville area. 

When they got to the scene, they encountered an RV blaring a recorded warning that a bomb would detonate in 15 minutes, which it did. Fortunately police evacuated nearby buildings before the blast. Law enforcement officials have said since shortly after the explosion occurred that they believe the blast was intentional, but have not talked publicly about a target or motive except to suggest the possibility of a suicide bombing. 

The obvious questions are: (1) Was this a terrorist attack? Suicide bombings are a stock-in-trade of a certain kind of terrorist. 

(2) What sort of terrorist(s) am I talking about? Let's not jump to any conclusions. There are two other questions worth asking.

(3) What was the point of giving the 15-minute warning? Wouldn't your typical Islamic terrorist want the attack to be a surprise, so as to kill as many "infidels" as possible?

(4) How is it that the detonation of a single car bomb somehow damaged 41 (count `em, 41!) buildings, caused power outages, and disrupted communications services not just in Nashville but in Louisville KY, Knoxville TN, Birmingham AL, Atlanta GA, Gallatin TN and South Charleston WV?

The President of Technology at T-mobile tweeted today, "We continue to see service interruptions in these areas following yesterday's explosion. Restoration efforts continue around the clock & we will keep you updated on progress." he said in a tweet Saturday. 

And believe it or not, Governor Bill Lee asked the White House -- yes, the TRUMP White House -- for federal assistance due to the "severity and magnitude" of the impact of the explosion. 

I'm not much for conspiracy theories, but let me just throw out [Watch your language. Ed.] the suggestion that the Nashville explosion, was either a test to see how much damage a sophisticate device could do OR the premature detonation of a number of such devices, linked by the Internet, set to go off a bit later on Christmas morning, when all the good Christians would be in church. Just sayin'....

DISTURBING FOOTNOTE ADDED AT 1945: Dr Suzanne Pearson, who I met some years ago at a conference organized by the late Father Nicholas Gruner, used to talk about electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons, which she (and many others) could be used to damage or destroys the electronic systems in an object by means of damaging current and voltage surges. 

EMPs have been around for a century or so, and you can buy an EMP generator online for under $200. According to a 2013 article on the ExtremeTech website, North Korea has these weapons and could use them to produce a blast like this. 

Even a small EMP could do a lot of damage, and would account for the power outages and disruption of electronic communications observed in Nashville. Makes you think, eh.

"Allahu akbar!" in Germany - cops arrest Iraqi "refugees" in bomb plot

If the headline bears a remarkable similarity to "'Allahu akbar!' in Canada - cops arrest Syrian 'refugees' in bomb plot" (WWW 25/1/19), that's because the story is virtually the same, except that the locale is City, Germany, and the number of "refugees" arrested is three instead of two.

German federal prosecutors announced yesterday that three Iraqi refugees have been arrested on suspicion of planning an Islamic extremist bomb attack. Die polizei said Shahin F. and Hersh F., both 23, and Rauf S., 36, were taken into custody in an early morning raid by a police SWAT team in the area of Dithmarschen, near the border with Denmark. German laws forbid the release of the last names of the jihadists, for reasons of political correctness.

The two younger men are suspected of preparing a bomb attack and violating weapons laws, and the older one is alleged to have aided them. A spokesthingy for the federal prosecutor's office said the men appear to have been in the early stages of planning. "We believe that Shahin F. and Hersh F. were firmly committed to carrying out an attack," she told reporters, "but...according to our information the concrete target and timing of the attack weren't determined yet." Oddly enough (?) that's exactly what the Mounties said in the Canadian case.

But the Germans went way farther than the ultra-PC Canucks, alleging the two men decided in late 2018 to "carry out an attack motivated by Islamic extremism in Germany." Imagine that! Unlike the mealy-mouthed Canucks, they actually used the words "Islamic" and "terrorists" in the same sentence! According to the spokesthingy, there are indications that they sympathized with ISIS, although there was no evidence so far that they were members of, or directed by Islamic extremists.

In December, the spokesthingy went on, Shahin F. downloaded instructions on how to build a bomb, and ordered a detonator from a contact person in Britain, but never got it as it was its delivery was stopped by Inspector Knacker of the Yard. At the same time, the two younger men carried out tests using about nine ounces of gunpowder extracted from New Year's fireworks, and asked Rauf S. to procure a firearm.

The head of the German federal police said a task force of around 200 investigators had searched properties in three states, while keeping a close eye on the suspects, who had refugee status under Angela Merkel's discredited Willkommenskultur policy. In a remarkable statement of the obvious, he told reporters "The case shows that the threat of Islamic terrorism is still present." Imagine that (again)!

It wasn't immediately clear when the suspects came to Germany. More than a million "refugees" and asylum-seekers entered Germany in 2015-16, most of them young followers of the prophet Mohammed from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. The involvement of several asylum-seekers in extremist attacks or plots has helped boost support for the anti-immigrant Alternativ für Deutschland (AfD) party.

Security authorities have thwarted several Islamic terrorist attacks in Germany since the killing of 12 innocent people when a truck mowed down people at Berlin's Christmas market in 2016. Yesterday's news is bound to be repeated. The barbarians are not just at the gates, but inside the gates, and there will be no getting them out now.

"Allahu akbar!" in Canada - cops arrest Syrian "refugees" in bomb plot

Cries of "Allahu akbar!" were not heard in Kington ON, because the Mounties, "assisted by the FBI", nipped in the bud a plot by followers of the Prophet Mohammed to "deliver, place, discharge or detonate an explosive or other lethal device...against a place of public use with the intent to cause death or serious bodily injury." That's one of the charges laid today against a "young person" who cannot be named or otherwise identified under the provisions of Canada's ultra-lax Youth Justice Act.

Police also charged the "young person" with knowingly facilitating a terrorist activity. Along with the lad (or ladette), Inspector Knacker also arrested an adult male whom CBC News, disregarding M-103, identifies as... wait for it... Hussam Eddin Alzahabi, a friend of the "young person".

Mr Alzahabi also happens to be a "refugee" whose family, originally from Syria, came to Canada in 2017, during Canuck Prime Minister Just In Trudeau's frantic campaign to bring more than 50,000 Syrian refugees to Canada through government and private sponsorships. (The Alzahabi family had actually been in Kuwait for 10 years, but that's not important.)

According to a bulletin posted to the website of a Kingston-area Catholic church detailing the journey of the Alzahabi family, the family's sponsorship application was approved in the spring of 2016, but the family was still awaiting its final security and health checks that fall due to the "overwhelming number of applicants." It appears that those checks may, errr, never have been completed.

Mr Alzahabi's father, Amin, told the meeja today that his son had been arrested but not charged. "I want to know where he is," the father said at his Kingston home. Professing astonishment at the arrest of his son, he went on to tell a CBC News interviewer, "They tell me they search about him about terrorists. I know my son, he didn't think about that. He like Canada. He like the safety in Canada. How could he think about that? It's fake news about my son. I trust my son. I know he cannot do anything against any human, humanity. They inspected everything from my house. They didn't find anything. I think this is not good."

"Not good" indeed! Looks bad at a time when immigration and border security are emerging as the ballot questions for this fall's general election. And don't think the Prime Minister's Office hasn't noticed. Speaking at a "town hall" meeting in Miramachi NB yesterday, Mr Socks warned voters to "be wary of fear-mongering about immigration". A young Syrian "refugee" then thanked him for allowing her family to come to Canada. Any suggestion that the PM was informed in advance of the pending arrest and that the Miramichi event was a lame attempt to get in front of the anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim backlash is of course nonsense, and deserving of prosecution. M-103!

Meanwhile, the Gliberal propaganda machine, in concert with the CBC and Canada's tame media [$650 million does a lot of taming! Ed.] are already working hard on damage control. At a presser this afternoon, Inspector Knacker of the RCMP said the investigation is still ongoing, and refused to comment on the ideological motivations of the people apprehended or say if they had any ties to foreign elements.

Elsewhere, Islamic community groups, mental health workers and police officers are meeting even as we speak to "calm fears and discuss ways to prevent an anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant backlash". See? Those are the CBC's words, not just Walt's! Bronek Korczynski, who led the Alzahabi family's sponsorship through Our Lady of Lourdes church, said the community groups that met today will attempt to head off rumours and spread the message that the alleged offences have nothing to do with Islam. Yeah. Right.

Here it is, folks -- a game that teaches invaluable skills for survival in today's diverse society. It could even save your life!



Yes, it's Cut the Wire, a bomb-defusing game suitable for children aged 6 and up, available from Amazon or at your nearby Target or Walmart superstore. (Target in USA only, due to complete misreading of Canadian consumers' preferences.) But hurry! The SJWs and NPCs have targeted (pun intended) the game, claiming it's "inappropriate, particularly in an era of terrorism threats." Any particular kind of terrorism? Errr, no.

"It’s horrendous, especially in a day and age like this," said a concerned parent who discovered the item recently at a Walmart store in London ON. In response to shoppers' complaints, Walmart Canada said it has no plans to reorder Cut The Wire when its stock runs out. A spokesthingy told the CBC, "We appreciate the concerns that have been raised regarding this item. Our intent was not to offend anyone." How Canadian is that, EH?

South of the world's longest unwalled border, Target pledged to remove the product from its shelves after it started fielding criticism in late October. However, a progressive shopper recently discovered the game on sale for half price at a Target in Sunnyvale CA. "I was kind of shocked to see that in the toy aisle, let alone in Target at all," said Ben Aguirre, who was shopping with his eight-year-old son at the time. "It's kind of appalling." Yeah, kind of.

Target told CBC News this week that the game is now completely gone from its stores. "We appreciate the feedback and have worked to remove this item from our assortment," read an e-mail from a spokesthingy. "We do listen to customers and we take the feedback seriously."

But take heart, folks. You can still order Cut the Wire online, from Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. Walt wonders if Jeff brought Cut the Wire home for his kids, but Amazon refused to comment, its spokesthingies doubtless having other things to talk about.

Who pulled Cesar Sayoc's strings?

A churlish reader has suggested that the arrest of Cesar Sayoc, a self-identified Republican now facing five federal charges in connection with more than a dozen -- I've lost count -- intercepted suspicious packages, disproves my theory that the "pipe bomb" affair is a hoax concocted for to give the Democrats a much-needed boost in the run-up to the mid-term elections. See "More on the moronic pipe bombs", WWW 25/10/18.

I call BS on those calling BS on my theory! If anything, what we've learned in the last 24 hours about Mr Sayoc reinforces my skepticism.

Mr Sayoc was born in New York. Eventually he drifted to Florida, which (along with California) is a magnet for America's loners, losers and nutbars. [Didn't you live there at one time? Ed.] Court records show that his conviction in the 1990s in Broward County on charges of grand theft and stolen property. In 2004, he was convicted on a felony charge of fraud and a misdemeanour of tampering with physical evidence.

In between, he was sentenced in Dade County in August 2002 for threatening to "throw, place, project or discharge any destructive device" during a conversation with a representative of a Florida utility. He served a year's probation after a judge signed a discharge certificate in November 2002. In 2015, he reported to police that his van was broken into outside of a gym in Oakland Park FL. He claimed that more than $40,000 worth of items were stolen, including $7150 worth of Donald Trump-brand suits.

Cesar Sayoc is a registered Republican. He has worked, off and on, as a stripper, promoter of "entertainment events" and, most recently, a pizza delivery man. Event promoter Tony Valentine said he hired Mr Sayoc in the 90s to strip on multiple occasions in Ohio, and that he (Sayoc) travelled the country for similar appearances. "He really couldn't find his niche in life, and I guess he found it now," Mr Valentine told the Washington Examiner. "Back in the 90s, he was running around from Minnesota to the Carolinas to Florida. He was like a gypsy."

His cousin, Lenny Altieri, was less charitable in his characterization. "He has been a loner," Mr Altieri told AP. "I know the guy is a lunatic."

We pause now for a brief lesson from the pages of history. For those who didn't catch my reference to the Reichstag Fire (in "Who's behind the pipe bombs?", WWW 24/10/18), the fire that destroyed the German parliament building in Berlin on 27 February 1933, was blamed by Hitler's government on Martinus van der Lubbe, a Dutch communist. The "intellectually challenged" Dutchman was found near the building and attributed the fire to communist agitators in general, although he claimed he acted alone.

Historians disagree as to whether Mr van der Lubbe acted alone, as he said, to protest the condition of the German working class. The Nazis accused the Comintern of the act. The Communists claimed that the arson was planned and ordered by the Nazis as a false flag operation. The court which tried Mr van der Lubbe ruled that indeed he acted alone. No-one else was involved. Of course.

Now back to my theory... Suppose you were a strategist for the Democratic Party, faced with the task of preventing the Trump Republicans from prevailing in next month's mid-term elections. You've got the lamestream media and (((Barbra Streisand))) and all of Hollywood on your side, and plenty of money to spend, thanks to (((George Soros))). But the migrant caravan approaching the southern border has heightened Americans' fears of the impending invasion, which the Democrats seem inclined to encourage rather than stop. What do you do?

What is needed (you say to yourself) is some kind of physical attack on the leaders of our party. Not an actual assassination of course, and nothing so lame as a burglary at Democratic headquarters. How about something dangerous sent through the mail? Poison, perhaps... or how about a bomb?! Great idea!! But who (you are still talking to yourself) could we get to build a bomb (or twelve bombs) and put them in the mail? Hey, how about someone who lives (yes, lives!) in a van like this?

We return now to Cesar Sayoc's conviction in 2002. Ron Lowy, the attorney who represented Mr Sayoc in the past and now represents his family, told the Clinton News Network's Anderson Cooper that he recalls someone with a "lesser IQ" and "substantial" emotional problems. Lowy said Sayoc has refused medical help for years, despite urging from his family. "He's become indignant, angry, someone who doesn't want to look at his problems."

Mr Lowy said that his former client "never seemed sophisticated enough" to put together a complicated mail bomb scheme and he wouldn't be surprised if Sayoc had someone who "helped prod or encourage him to do this."

But who? Here are a few innocent questions:
* From whom would Mr Sayoc have obtained the addresses -- home addresses -- of people like (((George Soros))) and the Prez? You can't just search the phone book to find them.
* How long would it have taken a semi-skilled person like Mr Sayoc to build not one, not two, but 12 or 14 (and counting) "bombs", and package them together with sachets of milk powder (or whatever it was) and pack them neatly in padded envelopes? A one-man job? Don't think so!
* Did Mr Sayoc actually take not one, not two, but 12 or 14 (and counting) packages to the post office, buy enough stamps to put six on each one and then hand them over the counter without anyone asking him what he was mailing?
* Suspending disbelief, if that's what happened at the post office, how come there are no postmarks on any of the packages... at least not the ones of which photos have been published?
* How did "the authorities" know where and when to look to intercept the suspicious packages before they could be delivered?
[That's enough innocent questions! Ed.]

OK, OK! But you get my point. IMHO, the whole thing reeks of publicity stunt, engineered to get Democrats out to vote in sympathy and anger! I am waiting with bated breath to hear what Mr Sayoc has to say about whether or not he acted alone. Let's just hope that he is brought to trial quickly. Wouldn't want any evil to befall him before he has a chance to speak. Of course that would never happen in America. Oh... Wait... Lee Harvey Oswald... ... ...

More on the moronic pipe bombs

Apparently Walt is not the only one who thinks the allegedly explosive devices supposedly sent to ten leading anti-Trumpers may well be parts of a gigantic hoax. See "Who's behind the pipe bombs?", WWW 24/10/18 and "UPDATE on the pipe bombs hoax (???)", WWW 25/10/18.

Got this a few minutes ago from Blazing Cat Fur, a blog I recommend highly. What burns my ring is that there's no time, between now and the mid-terms, to prove that this is a colossal fraud (or not) and name and shame those responsible for it. As I wrote earlier this morning, the perps' timing is impeccable!

UPDATE on the pipe bombs hoax (???)

Waking up to the ayem news -- all the truth the lamestream media cares to share -- I hear that the FBI has revealed the identities of three more intended victims of the same type of pipe bombs sent to (((George Soros))), the Clintons and others earlier this week. See "Who's behind the pipe bombs?", WWW 24/10/18. They are: ex-Veep Joe Biden, Representative "Mad Maxine" Waters, and washed-up actor (and "Fuck Trump!" cheerleader) Bobby DeNiro.

One report ringing in my ears right now says that the feds are "searching a Delaware mail facility" for a suspicious package believed to have been sent to Mr Biden. To me, that means the package has not been found, but that somehow the G-men know it exists and know it's similar to the ones "discovered" yesterday. They are said to look like this.

Notice anything unusual about this package, which was allegedly mailed via the USPS? There's no postmark! Ed. has checked the Net for images of other packages, and has yet to find one with any postmark or other indication of where it was posted. My innocent question: Is it possible that none of the packages was actually entered in the mail stream? Could it be that some or all of them were packaged as we see them and hand-delivered, not to the addressees but to the FBI or other "authorities"?

Why would someone take the time and trouble to build and pack up allegedly explosive devices and then hand them over to the people charged with protecting the Clintons and their friends? Can you say "fake news", boys and girls? How about "hoax"? I knew you could...

Who's behind the pipe bombs?

OK, before the Democratic Socialists and Antifa types mob up to lynch folks wearing MAGA hats or waving Confederate flags, let them (and the rest of us) take a cold hard look at what happened today. IMHO there is a real risk of the gullible American public being duped by a false flag operation. If you're not sure what that means, think Reichstag Fire... or you could look it up.

Earlier today, authorities intercepted crude pipe bombs sent to Democratic VIPs and their sponsor and master, (((George Soros))). Besides Mr Soros, those targeted included former Presidents Barack Hussein Obama and Slick Willy Clinton, once and future presidential wannabe Hellery Clinton, former Attorney General Eric Holder and ex-CIA Director John Brennan. The device targeting Mr Brennan was sent to the New York offices of CNN (the Clinton News Network).

All of the packages were sent via the USPS, and bore the return address of the Washington office of one-time Clinton confidante, Congresswoman (((Debbie Wasserman Schultz))), who led the Democratic National Committee until she screwed up Ms Clinton's campaign so badly that she was dumped. Ms Wasserman-Schultz also received a suspicious package.

The FBI warned that the situation may not be over. "It is possible that additional packages were mailed to other locations," said a spokesthingy for the eminently trustworthy upholders of lawn order. The package sent to mr Soros was detonated in a wood near his Westchester Country mansion. The other packages were sent to an FBI laboratory for analysis. Some media described the explosives as potentially lethal pipe bombs. Some of the packages also contained bags with unidentified white powder.

So... who dunnit? Even though Ms Wasserman-Schultz would undoubtedly be delighted to see Mrs Bill Clinton blown into tiny bits of Hillaryburger, I can't see her as a bombmaker. Leading Democrats have stopped short of pointing the finger of blame at POTUS and/or Republicans and/or the so-called "Alt-Right" (aka "Nazis", "neo-Nazis" and/or "Fascists"). However, they were quick to accuse President Trump of fuelling politically-motivated violence, saying he "condoned physical violence and divided Americans with his words and actions."

In a joint statement, Senator (((Chuck Schumer))) and Representative Nancy Pelosi said Trump's support for "the neo-Nazis [Aha! There it is. Ed.] who killed a young woman in Charlottesville" and "referring to the free press as the enemy of the people" have created a toxic environment in the country. Stay tuned for the second part of the message (already being voiced by La Clinton on the TV news as I write) which is: "We -- and I mean "I" -- must unite America again, so vote Democrat in next month's elections!"

Forgive me for being cyncial, but I think that's what this was all about. The shock and revulsion of Americans at the march of the Latino hordes through Mexico right up to the border has given the Republicans an enormous boost in the polls, threatening to make the lamestream media's prediction of a Big Blue Wave as wrong in November as it was two years ago. Democratic strategists must have chewed their nails down to the quick thinking of a way to put their gang of socialists and woolly-minded progressives back in the lead. And what did they come up with? "How about attacking ourselves, and reaping a rich harvest of outrage and sympathy?!" Worth a try...

You don't think so? Ask yourself cui bono? Who stands to benefit from an attack on the Clintons and Obamas and the power behind the throne? Not the Republicans! Mr and Mrs Clinton and Mr Obama are out of office now. They are still out there campaigning, but no-one is listening. Hellery's threat to run again in 2020 is not being taken seriously, even in Democratic circles. Mr Holder and Mr Brennan are likewise functus. [Ask a lawyer. Ed.] Ms Wasserman-Schultz was finished even before the 2016 election.

The real threat is (((George Soros))) but he will continue to exercise his influence no matter what, and the chances of actually hurting him are slim and none. Which brings us to the question of whether any serious attacker would actually thing that any of the targets are the sort of people who would receive and open their own mail. The whole thing looks to me like the veriest Gong Show, done with no purpose other than stirring up anti-Trump, anti-Republican sentiment to shore up faltering support for the Democrats in the mid-terms.

I'll give the masterminds behind this piece of theatre credit for one thing, though -- great timing! Polling day for the mid-term elections is November 6th. less than two weeks from today. The chances of the sherlocks at the FBI being able to catch anyone or prove anything between now and then are, like the chances of putting Mr Soros out of action, slim and none. If the Democrats can suppress the growing skepticism and fool most of the undecided voters long enough for them to pull the lever for the Donkey candidates, they might yet pull their nuts out of the electoral fire.

Canuck cops cover up terror attack outside Toronto

Agent 3 gave us this story yesterday but Ed. thought we should sit on it for 24 hours to see if the Canadian "authorities" would tell their people the whole truth, but they didn't, so we will!

Vaughan ON is a fast-growing bedroom community which sprawls along what was once good farmland to the north of Metropolitan Toronto. Apart from a third-rate theme park called "Canada's Wonderland" [not "Canada in Wonderland?" Ed.], it has the usual collection of ticky-tacky tract homes, strip malls and what have you. "What have you" includes a large population of immigrants and a minority of "old stock Canadians".

On Wednesday afternoon, a man walked into a bank branch in a strip mall in the Woodbridge area, just north of the boundary with Toronto, with a gun in his hand and, around his torso, a belt to which was fastened what appeared to be an explosive device of some kind. A serious armed robber, you might think, but nooooo....

Nasir Labib was standing in the doorway of his dental office at around 1300 Wednesday when a customer from the bank just across the plaza came looking for help. Dr Labib picks up the story. "She said there was a young guy inside the bank, had a gun in his hand and had a belt, I think with explosives. And he wasn't asking for money, he was asking for, I believe, a bag of drugs and to talk to Donald Trump by five o'clock or otherwise he's going to blow everybody away."

Dr Labib said the middle-aged woman was traumatized after coming face to face with the gunman, who then asked a customer to give him his cell phone so he could call police. Dr Labib again. "What the lady told me he made them sit down and tied their hands, but she wasn't tied. When I asked her, 'How did you run away?' she said, 'I wasn't tied and then he found out that my hands are free and he asked one of the tellers to tie my hands.' While the teller was doing that, the alarm went off. So her and the teller managed to run out from the fire exit and that's how we found her in front of the office here."

13 staff and customers were in the bank at the time of the incident. York Regional Police officers first on scene were able to get some of them out. The cops, including members of the emergency response unit -- that's what they call SWAT teams these days -- tried trying to negotiate with the suspect, while about 50 children from a daycare centre just a few doors down were escorted into Dr Labib's dental office.

Negotiations failed or at least broke down, so two York Region cops shot the suspect... fatally. And good for them, sez I. Now here's what we know about the deceased. He was a 25-year-old man who lived about 5 miles from the scene of the "incident". That's all the York Region PD would say. Their excuse for not naming the late perpetrator or saying anything about his ethnicity, religion or citizenship status was that the Ontario Special Investigations Unit was in charge of the case, investigating (of course) the conduct of the cops who shot the hostage-taker.

So we have a man armed with a gun and an explosive device entering a bank, not to rob it, but demanding to be put in touch with President Trump. (Some drugs too, please.) We also know that the RCMP were called in. In Ontario, the Mounties only get involved with things like, errr, threats to national security and, errr, terrorism. We also know that the so-called Greater Toronto Area is "home" to 1000s of "refugees", asylum-seekers and other migrants -- legal and illegal -- a large percentage of whom are followers of the Prophet. Mosques, halal butcheries and shawarma shops are springing up everywhere.

Can we then say with any degree of certainty that the attacker or hostage-taker was a "terrorist"? Certainly the lady who told her story to Dr Labib was terrified, as were the other hostages and innocent bystanders. OK, but was the perp an Islamic terrorist? Was he a "Mohammed"? None of those whose mission is "to serve and protect" (ha!) is saying. Perhaps they are constrained by M-103, a motion of the Canuck parliament intended to stop the spread of Islamophobia, by which they mean stopping anyone from saying anything negative about Muslims.

Fortunately for seekers of the truth, a reporter went to the suspect's home and got talking to a man outside of the house who identified himself as the 25-year-old's uncle. According to the uncle, the suspect was a young child when he came to Canada from Iran with his family. Walt will update this post as the truth leaks out. For now, that's all ye know and all ye need to know.

North Korea's Plan B to nuke the USA

Thanks to one of my agents who can't be numbered, let alone, named, I am able to reveal Kim Jong-un's secret Plan B to devastate the Excited States of America with nuclear weapons, even if his ICBM's don't live up their advance billing. Ready?

North Korea is planning to place 20 nuclear bombs in leather suitcases and check them in as baggage on airliners bound for 20 different American cities, where triggers which are sensitive to changes in air pressure will cause them to explode when they get under 1000 feet.

This has been done before. The only flaw in the plan (which the Commies haven't realized yet) is that they will have to import the leather suitcases from China. The bags the Chinese send them will be found to be fake.

More lamestream media illiteracy: National Post

Today's shocking example of journalistic illiteracy comes from Canada's National Post. Here's part of the landing (index) page from this morning's online edition.

Walt hopes that the bombs in question were defused, not "diffused". In today's Europe, bombs are diffused by Muslim jihadis, not (we hope) "experts". But such is the vocabulary of your typical lamestream media "reporter" nowadays. Journalist wannabes should read more. 7K9268 almost certainly downed by Islamic terrorist bomb

Reports from France and the UK this morning confirm that the crash in the Sinai Peninsula of Metrojet flight 7K928 was not caused by a mechanical or technical failure. Experts with Airbus and French and British aviation authorities have analyzed the "black boxes" -- voice and data recorders -- from the aircraft, and say there is no indication of any problems with the engines or mechanical or electrical systems.

That leaves only one plausible explanation -- a bomb planted somewhere in the airplane's hold, probably smuggled aboard in someone's luggage. "Chatter" monitored by Western security services appears to confirm this explanation.

So does data from the "black boxes", according to Le Point. In "Crash dans le Sinaï : l'attentat confirmé par les boîtes noires", published yesterday, the French weekly quotes an unnamed expert as saying "It was not a technical issue, but an outside action," suggesting the cause of the crash, which killed all 224 people on board, was likely an explosion.

Who would be responsible for such a dastardly act of terrorism? Answers on the back of a postage stamp, please, to the usual address.

7K9268: US military intelligence believes ISIS did it

Following up on "Metrojet crash in Sinai caused by IS militants?", posted here on Monday, we see now a lot more photos of charred debris from Metrojet flight 7K9268, indicating that there was an explosion and fire of some kind. This is not the sort of thing you would find if, say, the tail fell off, as initial reports suggested. The question now is, what caused the explosion?

American military intelligence [No remarks about oxymorons, please. Ed.] told us, a couple of days ago, that it couldn't be the work of ISIS or any of its affiliates, because they don't have the missile technology to hit a plane flying at 31,000 feet. In reply, Islamic extremists said -- Walt translates from the Arabic -- "Who said anything about missiles? We just said we brought it down!"

Well, an unnamed US official told CNN, they must have planted a bomb inside the plane then. "There is a definite feeling it was an explosive device planted in luggage or somewhere on the plane," were his exact words. "It is believed to be an explosion but what kind is not clear. There is an examination of the sand at the crash site to try and determine if it was a bomb." Walt wonders if there is some type of explosive device other than a bomb!

That ISIS did it, in some way, is only a suspicion in the minds of the US military at this point. You can almost hear them saying, "Yeah, that's it... ISIS did it... yeah... They probably did MH370 too!"

America's got the FEAR!

Walt occasionally refers to the U.S.A. as the Paranoid States of America. IMHO Americans are scared of everybody: terrorists (imported and domestic), kneegrows, Hispanics, furriners and, of course, Muslims. Especially Muslims. Like this kid.

He's Ahmed Mohamed, 14 years old, a Grade 9 student at MacArthur High School in Irving TX. And, in case the name didn't tip you off, he's a Muslim. Perhaps that explains the over-reaction of Authorities when he took the electronic clock he's holding to school to show his teacher. He made it at home, you see, all by himself, and he was proud of it.

It probably never occurred to young Ahmed that his clock might be mistaken for a bomb. But it was. Officers of the Law were dispatched in force to the school, where they promptly cuffed and arrested the boy, hustling him off to juvy so fast that his feet didn't even touch the ground.

Although they acknowledge that Ahmed had insisted to teachers, the school principal and to them that it was only a clock, they said he could face charges of making a hoax bomb. After the laughter subsided, they let the boy go, without charges being laid. But... get this... Ahmed has nevertheless been suspended from school for three days.

But (as Vince Offer sez) wait! There's more!

The Principal of MacArthur High, Dan Cummings, sent a letter to all parents of kids in his school. Here's part of what it said:

"I recommend using this opportunity to talk with your child about the Student Code of Conduct and specifically not bringing to school items that are prohibited. Also this is a good time to remind your child how important it is to immediately report any suspicious items and/or suspicious behavior they observe to any school employee so we can address it right away. We will always take necessary precautions to protect our students."

There now. Isn't that reassuring? Don't you think the good burghers of Irving will feel better knowing that their kids are under the watchful care of folks like Mr. Cummings (even if he gets only a "B" in English).

Walt feels the key word, "necessary", deserves some examination. Have the Authorities not exercised an over-abundance of precaution here? Could they not have given the "suspicious item" to the janitor to dunk in a bucket of water? Did the cops really have to slap the cuffs on the kid to prevent him -- all 100 pounds or so of him -- from overpowering them? I think -- and I am not alone -- the whole thing was ridiculous. But hey, this is the U.S.A. in the 21st century. Or, I say again, P.S.A. -- the Paranoid States of America.
