Walt explains Canadian politics: 50 shades of red

One thing Americans can be thankful for today is the two-party system which has been the norm in US politics for most of the country's 240 (give or take) years. With only two parties to choose from, you have a clear choice. You know where they stand. You know where you stand. Do what you think is right.

The downside of having just two parties -- right (ish) and left (ish) -- is that those two parties have to accommodate a wide range of right(ish) and left(ish) opinions and policies with their "big tents". The Republicans have to deal with the raving right, including (some say), the alt-right. The Democrats have to pander to the growing numbers of looney lefties, including the likes of the Squad.

The result is a lot of division, or divisiveness, or, dare we say it, polarization. There's a lot of rancor in the air these days. You can even see it. The way things are now, even the colour of your hat makes a political statement. It's no longer white hats vs black hats, like in the old westerns, but Red Hats vs Blue Hats. 

How the Republicans wound up being officially Red, and the Democrats Blue, is a mystery. In the rest of the world, blue is the colour of the right -- Britain's Conservatives, for example -- and red is the colour of the left, from Britain's Labour Party to (of course) the Communists, everywhere. 

It's the same in Canada. Blue is the official colour of the so-called Conservative Party of Canada, and red is that of the Natural Governing Party, which is what Canada's Liberals call themselves. But there are other parties -- four others, unless you work for the CBC (Canadian Propaganda Corporation), in which case you recognize only three.

The only truly conservative party in Canada is Maxime Bernier's People's Party of Canada. That's the one the CBC wouldn't recognize until they started to poll  higher than the Greens. Their official colour is purple, which is the colour of PPC members' faces whenever Liberal Prime Minister Just In Trudeau is mentioned.

The other five parties -- counting only those with over 2% of the popular vote in Canada's last federal election -- are all liberal. Their official colous don't disguise the fact that their policies range in hue from pale red to deep red.

Just slightly in the red (policy-wise) are the aforementioned Conservatives, who, under leader Erin O'Tool, moved well to the left of centre to attract "progressive" voters who don't care for Mr Socks. All they managed to do was alienate their conservative base, which is why they lost the election. 

All Blackie McBlackface had to do to win was to remind people he that he's the liberal Liberal. Colour him Red.

Farther to the left are Canada's "New" Democrats, founded 60 years ago, hence the quote marks around "New". Their colour is orange, to match one of their leader's turbans. Their whole campaign pitch was that their social democratic (or democratic socialist) policies would ruin the country even faster than the Trudeau Liberals. Didn't work, and having a Sikh at the helm didn't help them much outside of the "little Khalistans" of Toronto and Vancouver.

The official colour of the Bloc Québécois is powder blue. The colour of their policies is pink, but not quite as pink as those of the NDP. Most Canadians don't know what the BQ stands for, since they only field candidates in Québec, and explain themselves only in French. 

That brings us the sixth and last party, the darling of the controlled media but dead last in the hearts and minds of Canadians -- the Green Party. Their official colour is... well, you already figured that out. But their policies are the reddest of red, so much so that their last leader upset the party members who chose her by not being sufficiently anti-Israel.

The last Green leader was Enemy [Annamie, shurely! Ed.] Paul, a black Jewish woman -- ticking three boxes right there -- who finished a distant fourth in her own riding. The party managed to elect just two Members of Parliament, the same as in the last House. One of those won by default after the Liberal candidate in his riding got MeTooed.

Ms Paul resigned before she could be fired, but not without trying for a green parachute and blaming her troubles on racism and sexism... and maybe anti-Semitism too. No surprises there. Anyway, she's gone, and the Greens have now chosen an interim leader, in the person of  Amita Kuttner -- pictured at left. [Geddit? Ed.] Kuttner describes herself as a "nonbinary astrophysicist" and "an expert in black holes". Seriously. You can look it up on the CBC website.

At the tender age of 30, Kuttner will be the youngest person as well as the first trans person to lead a federal political party. In a statement, Kuttner said they were "honoured to have been selected ... during this time of transition and renewal."

What? "Kuttner said they were honoured..."? Referring to whom? Ah... pronoun problems. Since Kuttner is "trans", no-one, including the CBC knows whether to say "xim", "xe", "xer","xis" or... whatever. 

Similarly, we don't know which honorific to use. [Maybe "Mr/s" or "Ms/r"? Ed.] All the same, Kuttner, like her predecessor-but-one, the tired and over-refreshed Elizabeth May, will be the darling of the lamestream media, as if "they" were head of a real party. And "they" will be the butt of the same old joke, "Kuttner? Party of one?"

VIDEO: Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes sets the record straight

Gavin McInnes, the founder of Proud Boys, has been taking a lot of heat lately. His alleged organization -- which isn't an organization really -- has just been declared a terrorist organization by the alleged government of his native Canada. 

In addition to being labelled as terrorists, the Proud Boys and Mr McInnes are being demonized for being white supremacists, neo-Nazis,alt-right monsters, yada yada yada. In this video, which is nearly three years old, Gavin discusses his 15 most controversial moments (to that point). 

In almost every case, he says, his destractors are taking a phrase or sentence completely out of context, and/or failing to recognize that he is indulging in the millennia old technique of hyperbole -- exaggerate for effect. In other words, what he says is not be be taken all that seriously.

 

Putting his self-defence another way -- and he would probably say that he wasn't defending himself, just explaining -- Mr McInnes likens himself to Walt's favourite stand-up comedian Bill Burr. What he and Bill do is to say out loud stuff that a large percentage of us "regular people" say in bars. 

A few of the Proud Boys may be genuine right-wing fanatics, but Walt reminds those who are crying for the censorship of every expression of politically incorrect thought that there are plenty of loony left nutbars out there too. 

Those who are already "beyond the fringe" don't need Gavin McInnes or (for that matter) President Trump to incite them to the acts of violence that may be characterized as "terrorism" (in the case of the right) or "mostly peaceful protests" in the case of Antifa and BLM.

Who's behind the pipe bombs?

OK, before the Democratic Socialists and Antifa types mob up to lynch folks wearing MAGA hats or waving Confederate flags, let them (and the rest of us) take a cold hard look at what happened today. IMHO there is a real risk of the gullible American public being duped by a false flag operation. If you're not sure what that means, think Reichstag Fire... or you could look it up.

Earlier today, authorities intercepted crude pipe bombs sent to Democratic VIPs and their sponsor and master, (((George Soros))). Besides Mr Soros, those targeted included former Presidents Barack Hussein Obama and Slick Willy Clinton, once and future presidential wannabe Hellery Clinton, former Attorney General Eric Holder and ex-CIA Director John Brennan. The device targeting Mr Brennan was sent to the New York offices of CNN (the Clinton News Network).

All of the packages were sent via the USPS, and bore the return address of the Washington office of one-time Clinton confidante, Congresswoman (((Debbie Wasserman Schultz))), who led the Democratic National Committee until she screwed up Ms Clinton's campaign so badly that she was dumped. Ms Wasserman-Schultz also received a suspicious package.

The FBI warned that the situation may not be over. "It is possible that additional packages were mailed to other locations," said a spokesthingy for the eminently trustworthy upholders of lawn order. The package sent to mr Soros was detonated in a wood near his Westchester Country mansion. The other packages were sent to an FBI laboratory for analysis. Some media described the explosives as potentially lethal pipe bombs. Some of the packages also contained bags with unidentified white powder.

So... who dunnit? Even though Ms Wasserman-Schultz would undoubtedly be delighted to see Mrs Bill Clinton blown into tiny bits of Hillaryburger, I can't see her as a bombmaker. Leading Democrats have stopped short of pointing the finger of blame at POTUS and/or Republicans and/or the so-called "Alt-Right" (aka "Nazis", "neo-Nazis" and/or "Fascists"). However, they were quick to accuse President Trump of fuelling politically-motivated violence, saying he "condoned physical violence and divided Americans with his words and actions."

In a joint statement, Senator (((Chuck Schumer))) and Representative Nancy Pelosi said Trump's support for "the neo-Nazis [Aha! There it is. Ed.] who killed a young woman in Charlottesville" and "referring to the free press as the enemy of the people" have created a toxic environment in the country. Stay tuned for the second part of the message (already being voiced by La Clinton on the TV news as I write) which is: "We -- and I mean "I" -- must unite America again, so vote Democrat in next month's elections!"

Forgive me for being cyncial, but I think that's what this was all about. The shock and revulsion of Americans at the march of the Latino hordes through Mexico right up to the border has given the Republicans an enormous boost in the polls, threatening to make the lamestream media's prediction of a Big Blue Wave as wrong in November as it was two years ago. Democratic strategists must have chewed their nails down to the quick thinking of a way to put their gang of socialists and woolly-minded progressives back in the lead. And what did they come up with? "How about attacking ourselves, and reaping a rich harvest of outrage and sympathy?!" Worth a try...

You don't think so? Ask yourself cui bono? Who stands to benefit from an attack on the Clintons and Obamas and the power behind the throne? Not the Republicans! Mr and Mrs Clinton and Mr Obama are out of office now. They are still out there campaigning, but no-one is listening. Hellery's threat to run again in 2020 is not being taken seriously, even in Democratic circles. Mr Holder and Mr Brennan are likewise functus. [Ask a lawyer. Ed.] Ms Wasserman-Schultz was finished even before the 2016 election.

The real threat is (((George Soros))) but he will continue to exercise his influence no matter what, and the chances of actually hurting him are slim and none. Which brings us to the question of whether any serious attacker would actually thing that any of the targets are the sort of people who would receive and open their own mail. The whole thing looks to me like the veriest Gong Show, done with no purpose other than stirring up anti-Trump, anti-Republican sentiment to shore up faltering support for the Democrats in the mid-terms.

I'll give the masterminds behind this piece of theatre credit for one thing, though -- great timing! Polling day for the mid-term elections is November 6th. less than two weeks from today. The chances of the sherlocks at the FBI being able to catch anyone or prove anything between now and then are, like the chances of putting Mr Soros out of action, slim and none. If the Democrats can suppress the growing skepticism and fool most of the undecided voters long enough for them to pull the lever for the Donkey candidates, they might yet pull their nuts out of the electoral fire.

VIDEO: What really happened at Charlottesville

The lamestream media have been falling all over themselves to blame President Trump for this weekend's protest/riot/driveover at Charlottesville VA. Mr Trump has been criticized, even by Republicans such as slimeball Marco Rubio, for saying that there was hate and bigotry "from many sides". Yet that was clearly the case, as anyone who's watched the video must realize.

For the record, Walt was not there, except in spirit. Faith Goldy was. In this video she talks to Stefan Molyneux about what she saw, and the double standard which is being applied by the politically correct media and politicians. The issue here is freedom of speech. The white nationalists had a permit for their protest. The BLMers did not. But only the white protesters were harassed by the police. The "counter-protesters" were left alone. Leftist thugs attacked the protesters and it was then, and only then, that the "authorities" declared a state of emergency.



Comment on YouTube from "August Caesar": The Alt Right showed up to peacefully protest, then the left attacked. Now the government is blaming the Alt Right. It's official, the government hates white people.

Within an hour of posting "Canadians love multiculturalism... don't they?" (below), Walt was deluged with requests [Two is a deluge? Ed.] for the list of websites recommended at the bottom of the "Hey, WHITE PERSONS" posters which have appeared in Toronto. Well hey (white person), unlike the lamestream media, Walt listens to his readers. [But it's Ed. who does the research! Ed.] Here's the list. Most of them are recommendable.

Radix Journal - Blog. "The Red Pill" has articles like "What the Founders *Really* Thought About Race". Guess quotes from Jefferson, Franklin et al. are politically incorrect nowadays

The Right Stuff - Not Tom Wolfe. Subtitle: "Democracy is an interracial porno". Mostly about the leftward trend of politics.

VIDEO: Alt-Right is all right!

Walt admits to having been a bit lethargic this month. Perhaps it was post-convention letdown. Once The Donald and Hellery got nominated, things kind of cooled down. Mr Trump misspoke himself a couple of times. (Ronald Reagan used to do that too, and look what happened to him!) Crooked Hillary got a bit of a bump in the polls as people averted their eyes from the lies and scandals. And the lamestream media started practising their moves for the dance on Trump's political grave. Walt tuned out because, as former Canuck Prime Minister John Diefenbaker once said, it's a long road that has no ashcans. [What does that even mean?! Ed.]

Then came La Clinton's "speech" in Reno on Thursday, in which (not having any ideas to put forward) she attacked Mr Trump yet again. And -- this is the part that got my attention -- she also demonized the 40% of Americans who support The Donald as being bigoted racists who have been seduced by the Alt-Right movement which, she claimed, had taken over the Republican Party. "Alt-Right?", I said to myself. "Wozzat?" To find out, I visited the Alternative Right blog.

Gotta love that banner illustration! It could only have been better if it had been the Confederate cavalry led by J.E.B. Stuart, but British cavalry will do nicely.

Turns out the Alt-Righters are not a political organization, but a grass-roots movement of people not unlike my goodself, who believe (for instance) that
- immigration should be halted or sharply curtailed
- political correctness has run amok
- feminism, multiculturalism and globalization are destructive
- white identity and white culture are under threat and need to be aggressively defended.

Richard Spencer, the "white nationalist" founder of the National Policy Institute, said that following the Clinton diatribe, "Millions of people are Googling #AltRight and thinking through our ideas for the first time." That's what I did, and I liked what I read. Like this...

Equality is bullshit. Hierarchy is essential. The races are different. The sexes are different. Morality matters and degeneracy is real. All cultures are not equal and we are not obligated to think they are. Man is a fallen creature and there is more to life than hollow materialism. Finally, the white race matters, and civilization is precious. This is the Alt-Right. Here's the video.



An Alt-Righter who tweets as "Identitarian" wrote "What the #AltRight means is that whites no longer are going to cower and will defend our own race. The #AltRight’s message isn’t one of hate, but one of love: Whites learning to love and support our own race." Sounds all right to me!
