But don't be surprised if the Indo-Jamaican Candidate [What happened to "Manchurian"? Ed.] starts lightening to appear not quite so POC-ish.

Much will be made, in the days and weeks to come, of Ms Harris' "successful" record as a prosecutor in California. True enough, she piled up a lot of convictions. But, as Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) pointed out during the Democratic primary debates in 2020, a lot of it was on the backs of the poor disadvantaged People of Colour. 

 

And yet America's first female Indo-Jamaican vice-president claims to be a great friend of "racialized" people like her goodself. Wif friends like dis, dey don' need no enemies!
