The beautiful and charming Ms Harris made an appearance today at Essence Fest, an enormous cultural festival for Black women, "where Black culture, community and consciousness meet." That's what it says on their website. Nothing political about it, you understand.
This year, the President-wannabe was interviewed by the CEO of Essence, Caroline Wanga. Here is Ms Wanga's introduction.
The full love-fest, just over 27 minutes, may be found on YouTube. I have seen comments to the effect that if you can get by the first eight minutes, Ms Harris starts to take control from the effervescent Ms Wanga and talk about her plans for the future.
I couldn't make it that far, so am relying on the Axios report of the event, which says:
"In the conversation, Wanga gave Harris an opportunity to reintroduce herself.
That included a reminder of her work as a prosecutor, which she presented as a foil to former president Trump's status as a convicted felon, and recapping her work in the Biden administration to protest the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
"It also included stumping for plans for a next term, like keeping medical debt from being used to calculate credit scores, raising the federal minimum wage and addressing the cost of child care.
"But she stopped short of asking for support for Biden by name."
So there you have it, campers. A great boost for the Biden campaign and a hugely entertaining moment on the ole campaign trail. At least these attendees found it so.
Oh... yeah... How come Ms Harris, who is of Indo-Jamaican ancestry is now described as America's first "Black female vice-president"? She's about as black as the Barack Hussein Obama. I've heard that after seeing this video, Canada's Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface offered to send Ms Harris a case of his special shoe polish.
