VIDEO shows Trump assassin-wannabe taking position on roof

First let me show you this, a new video, posted on Fox News, of the moments before the attempted assassination of President Trump.

The video was shot by James Copenhaver, one of the victims critically wounded in the July 13th "incident" at Butler PA, all mention of which Google has tried to descrub from its search engine database. 

You can see (circled) a figure moving across the roof of the American Glass Research (AGR) building just minutes before gunfire rang out at the Trump rally. In the video taken at 1808 EDT, the person appears on the roof of the building adjacent to where Mr Trump is speaking and can be seen walking from the 1:00 second mark to about the 2:50 second mark. 

Officials believe that person is gunman Thomas Crooks, who began shooting with a collapsible AR-15-style rifle three minutes later. Counter snipers fatally shot Mr Crooks shortly -- very shortly -- afterward, and law enforcement officials found eight shell casings near his body. 

A commenter on X asks why Mr Crooks wasn't "dealt with". Another replies that he was a patsy, being set up to do the dirty deed after which he would be "dealt with" by the Secret Service who already had him in their sights, even while he was running across the roof to take up his position. 

Now let me quote from "Attempted assassination of President Trump: Who is responsible?" (WWW, 13/7/24). 

"Has a cover-up already begun?

"Let's suppose that the shooter was (a) an Islamic (or other) terrorist; (b) a looney leftist, antifa type; (c) an agent of the Deep State; or even (d) a sufferer from TDS, nuttier than squirrel shit and determined that there should be no second term for Trump. 

"Would the Deep State, the Democrats and their lickspittle media want you to know this? If they want to cover their sorry asses, how would they do so? Simple. By assassinating the would-be assassin. So far, what we're hearing from Official Sources is that the threat has been "contained". Whatever can that mean? Stay tuned... but don't hold your breath!"

My emphasis added. That conspiracy theory -- for such it is -- was denounced by the lickspittle media before the day was out, although not by the Secret Service or other agents of Deep State until later. Walt doesn't think it's so far-fetched. Do you?

UPDATED AGAIN: "Allahu akbar!" in Southport, England

If you haven't heard yet about the knife attack in Southport (near Liverpool), England, the basics are as follows: Two children have been killed and nine injured, six critically, in a "ferocious" knife attack at a children's dance workshop. Two adults are also in a critical condition after being stabbed as they tried to protect children at the Taylor Swift-themed event on Hart Street in Southport, Merseyside Police said.

That's the first part of the BBC report. Click here to read the whole thing, but don't expect to have your suspicions confirmed. All the Beeb is saying is that a 17-year-old boy, from Banks in Lancashire, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Nothing about the yoof's nationality, status in the UK or religion.

Likewise, the Bobbies [Are they still called that? Ed.] said the motivation for the attack was "unclear", but it was not -- repeat NOT -- being treated as "terror-related." Nothing to see here, folks. Go to some other story and above all don't spread Islamophobia.

But wait, there's more coming down the Mojo wire right now!

Walt's good friends at Blazing Cat Fur report that Merseyside Police have confirmed that a teenager has been arrested following the stabbing "incident." Officers were called to a property on Hart Street around 11:50 AM on Monday to reports of multiple people being attacked, including children and adults. At least one fatality has been reported. 

17-year-old Ali Al-Shakati from Banks has been arrested in connection with the Southport stabbings and is currently in police custody. Mr Al-Shakati, was on the MI6 watch list and known to Liverpool mental health services. He was an asylum-seeker who arrived in the UK by boat last year.

Are you surprised? I didn't think so.

UPDATE ADDED 31/7/24 at 1345: Both the BBC and the Merseyside cops are now saying that the attacker's name is NOT "Ali Al-Shakati". Here's their story:

"The BBC is not repeating the false name here to avoid spreading misinformation. Media organisations cannot give the suspect's real name for legal reasons, but Merseyside Police have said the name shared on social media is incorrect."

As I said, that's their story, as authored by... sorry, can't tell you, for legal reasons. LMAO.

UPDATE ADDED 1/8/24 at 0600: The "legal reasons" for not naming the stabber aren't reasons any more. Whether that's the decision of a judge or just some common sense at The Times (UK) is unclear. 

What is clear, according to The Times is that the Southport attack suspect has been named in court as Axel Rudakubana, 17, shown at left wearing his hoodie. 

Appearing at Liverpool & Knowsley youth court on Thursday morning, the yoof has been charged with three murders, ten attempted murders and of "possessing a kitchen knife with a curved blade." 

Kirpans, worn at all times by religious Sikh men, have curved blades. But Mr Rudakubana doesn't look like a Sikh, does he. In fact, The Times says, he has Rwandan parents and lives in the village of Banks, but is originally from Cardiff, Wales. 

The Times doesn't say anything about his religion though. Rwanda is a former Belgian colony, and a lot of Rwandans are Catholic. But Islam has been making serious inroads there in recent years, as it has throughout sub-Saharan Africa, so I guess we won't know the accused's religion and/or motives until he says something. Don't hold your breath.

UPDATED: The "Hawk Tuah" twins, separated at birth?

Camilla Tominey, Associate Editor of The Telegraph (UK) just dropped a great article headed "Kamala Harris is the Meghan Markle of American politics". If you click the link you'll find it's behind a firewall, so let me give you a couple of excerpts "for review purposes only" (nudge nudge wink wink).

...The penchant for spouting word salad; the slightly awkward misplaced laughter; the courting of chat show hosts; the celebrity iPhone moments; the loathing of Donald Trump; the unfortunate bullying allegations.... Meghan! Kamala Harris reminds me of the Duchess of Sussex. 

It has been suggested that Meghan one day dreamed of being the first mixed race, female President of the United States. Now Harris could beat her to it.... Meghan once actively sought out a relationship with Michelle and Barack Obama, now they are busily endorsing Harris’s presidency. (Was it just me or did that staged phone call between the Obamas and Harris have shades of Meghan telling Harry “Beyonce’s just texted”, just as the Netflix cameras were conveniently rolling?). 

And the rhetoric! Both Meghan and Kamala spout this sort of pseudo-spiritual psychobabble that sounds perfectly progressive but doesn’t always make that much sense. The Duchess once declared: “Reflecting on where I came from helps me to appreciate and balance what I have now.” But on reflection, might she have preferred to have come up with Harris’s now-infamous catchphrase: “What can be, unburdened by what has been”. 

Both women have spoken out in support of each other in the past. “Meghan, we are with you,” Harris tweeted when things were getting tough for the royal couple before Megxit. The Duchess, in turn, welcomed Harris’s nomination as vice president a year later. Meghan has not yet publicly endorsed Harris for president. But it can surely only be a matter of time.

UPDATE ADDED 29/7/24: About the headline... certain people who are not enamored of Heels-up Harris have dubbed her "the original 'Hawk Tuah' girl". The reference is to a remark made by Alec Lace, who used to be a regular on the Fox Business network. In a July 5th discussion on the future (if any) of the Democratic Party, Mr Lace suggested that Ms Harris ascended to power by sleeping her way to the top. 

"Kamala Harris — she’s the original ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl — that’s the way she got where she is. And the party's going downhill if it's in her hands," is what Mr Lace said. His comment refers to a viral TikTok clip in which one Haliey Welch was asked the question, "What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?" Her answer (which Walt doesn't quite get) was "You gotta give `em that 'hawk tuah' and spit on that thang." Readers are invited to explain what she meant on the back of a postcard.

A commentator on Small Dead Animals asks why a planet-wide celebration of athleticism and uncommon sporting prowess is being introduced with yet another tedious display of cross-dressing, oddly selective sacrilege, and self-satisfied obesity? For "normies" like Walt, yesterday's opening ceremony was a truly emetic episode of wokeness triumphant.

There was, however, a moment of blessed relief, as Canadian singing star Celine Dion overcame chronic medical issues to sing "L’hymne à l’amour" from the first level of la Tour Eiffel. Rejoice, dear hearts, that real, straight people can still perform real, musical music. Enjoy.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the US of A this week. Yesterday he made a speech to a joint session of the House and Senate. It didn't get a lot of attention because everyone was going gaga over coconuts and chartreuse green [Wut are you talking about? Ed.] and waiting for Senile Joe to tell us whether he jumped or was pushed. (Answer came there none.)

However,Bibi's appearance on Capitol Hill did provoke the usual outrage from the far-left Democrats, including She-who-would-be-President. They vented their anger by holding up signs during his speech, like fans at a hockey game, and some of them, including the erstwhile Immigration Czar, walked out before the speech even started. The Babylon Bee noticed, and played it this way.

Democrats Flee Capitol In Terror As Jew Stands Up To Speak

Sources from Capitol Hill report that Democrats in Congress fled en masse at the sight of a Jew standing up to talk. 

At the sight of the Jewish man preparing to say words out loud, Vice-President Harris ran fleeing from the Capitol along with several other Democrat leaders including Congresswomen Omar, Pressley, and Ocasio-Cortez. 

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES, IT'S A JEW!" Congresswoman Ilhan Omar warned her fellow Democrats, pulling her emergency Hamas burqa out from under her desk. "He's going to speak, too! Get out if you value your life! From the river to the sea, Palest — OUTTAMYWAY HE JUST LOOKED AT ME!!"
