VIDEO: Former Canuck minister warns of danger of mass immigration

The Hon. Stockwell "Doris" Day Jr is a former Canadian politician who served as leader of the Canadian Alliance from 2000 to 2001 and later as a member of the Conservative Party of Canada. He then held several cabinet portfolios under Prime Minister Steve Harpoon, including that of "Minister of Public Safety", and was widely seen as a prominent voice for social conservatives within the Conservative Party.

Mr Day emerged from his burrow six months late this year, with this dire warning for Canadians about the perils of admitting too many Third-Worlders who cannot or will not assimilate to their hosts' culture, bringing with them instead their barbaric cultural practices, which they expect the hosts to respect and adopt.

Don't think, dear reader, that just because you live in a country which is not entirely ruled by liberal elites [i.e. the US of A! Ed.] this doesn't apply to you. Listen up!

There's just one thing wrong with Mr Day's message. You'll hear it right at the beginning when he says Canada is "not wide open." Sadly, it is! The invaders have prevailed, and Canada has become Canuckistan.

Too late to ask  now, "How did they get it? What can we do to keep them out?" Whenever a raghead or burrhead wants to enter Canada, all he has to do is walk across the World's Longest Undefended Border TM at any "unauthorized crossing point" such as Roxham Road, near St-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC.

Don't believe me? Here's a quote from "Federal Court cancels 'unreasonable' release order for accused murderer with alleged ties to the Bishnoi gang", National Post, 5/8/26. "According to court records, after spending some time in the U.S. and Mexico, Singh entered Canada by foot between ports of entry in Quebec in January 2025 and made a refugee claim." Yes, we have a photo!

The notorious Roxham Road border crossing -- the one the story referred to in the NP story -- has supposedly been closed now. A "No Entry" sign has been posted and there are no longer Mounties there to carry the bogus refugees' luggage (minimum tip $5 per bag). But there are "unauthorized entry points" all along the remaining 1000s of miles of open borders. Mr Day is quite right about what's going to happen... nooooo, what's happening already!

Coming to Canada illegally pays off for asylum-seekers, bogus refugees

WARNING to Canadian readers: This report contains statistics which will infuriate you.

Let's start with these. When the Liberal Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface first took office in 2015, the number of asylum claimants in the country then known as Canada was just 16,058. As of the most recent figures available from Statistics Canada, there are a total of 497,443 "asylum claimants and protected persons". Thats includes a record high 287,786 asylum claimants waiting to have their case heard by the Immigrant and Refugee Board of Canada.

What do you, dear suffering Canuck, think will happen to them? What percentage of them do you think will be allowed to remain in the country now known and derided as "Canuckistan"? 50%? 75%? 85%? How about 100%?!

On Tuesday, the Liberal government headed by Blackie's successor, Marx Carnage, dropped a new budget, outlining the Natural Ruling Party's plans to carry on Junior's wokest works. Buried in the 406+ pages of mouse-sized type was the latest iteration of the Liberal promise to bring immigration "under control.

The budget document admits that Canada’s immigration system [Is dis a system? Mr. Natural] is "dysfunctional and inefficient... [After Covid] the pace of arrivals began to exceed Canada’s capacity to absorb and support newcomers in the way we are used to doing. Canada’s new [LOL. Walt] government recognizes that this system is no longer sustainable, and we are determined to make it so."

But, I hear you ask, how are they going to do that? The answer is a one-time mass amnesty to some of the hundreds of thousands of asylum-seekers who have entered Canada in recent years, by illegally crossing the US border at places like Roxham Road, near St-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC, where a Mountie can be seen in this photo helping a border-jumper with her luggage.

The alien in the photo is just one of 114,373 illegal border-crossesrs who have entered Canada since 2017. A disproportionate number came through the Roxham Road crossing from New York into Québec, an illicit border crossing closed only in 2023

Starting next year, the Liberals will spend over C$120 million ($85 million in real money) on a program to fast-track "eligible protected persons" -- anyone who promises to vote Liberal in future elections -- into permanent residency.

The number of "protected persons" to be admitted without being properly vetted, and in spite of having gamed the system, is for some reason not specified in the budget. It should be noted, though, that Canada currently has more people within the refugee system than at any other time in its history.

In the entirety of 2015, the Canada Border Services Agency processed 7110 asylum claims. Last year, this figure was 58,050 — a more than 800% cent increase! But the 2025 budget boasts that "asylum claims are down by a third" from the heights they reached during the Trudeau era.

Of late, Canada’s population of asylum claimants has also added tens of thousands of "temporary migrants" who entered Canada as students (many at schools like the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving) and claimed asylum as the terms of their visas came to an end.

Last year, for instance, international students were responsible for a record 20,245 asylum claims. If past acceptance figures are any guide, most asylum claimants will ultimately be accepted as "protected persons".

In 2024, for instance, the Immigration and Refugee Board reviewed 73,456 cases and only rejected 11,761. (46,480 were accepted, the other claims were abandoned or withdrawn). The year before, the board reviewed 51,848 and only rejected 9601; 37,222 claims were accepted.

So there you have it, dear put-upon Canadians. Your country's back door is still wide open. No matter where in the Great No-longer-white North you live, it won't be long before you hear the six most feared words in the English language: "Hello dere! I'se yo new neighbuh!"

The hidden numbers and true cost of mass immigration

Agent 3 tells me that if you ask Johnny Canuck, the average Canajan, hanging out at Tim's, how many immigrants Canuckistan should accept next year, he'll tell you, "None is too many!"

The Honourable Marc Miller, the Liberal Minister of Immigration and Refugees and Citizenship and Refugees (etc etc, but did we mention Refugees), got up on his hind feet in Ottawa this week to tell Johnny Canuck that he's wrong! And/or that Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface doesn't care what his subjects think.

Instead, Mr Miller revealed that the misgovernment's "new" immigration targets for the next three years were... wait for it... pretty much the same as last year's historic high level. Canadians are expected to "welcome" 485,000 new permanent residents in 2024, 500,000 in 2025 and another 500,000 in 2026.

So, in the next three years, Canada will (officially) welcome another 1,5 MILLION "permanent residents". But that's only half the story! A report by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce shows that equally large or even greater numbers of aliens are getting into the Great No-longer-white North through the back door.

In 2022, the permanent resident figure was 435,000, but the CIBC claims the actual number of "newcomers" was more than 955,000. Statistics Canaada goes even farther, pegging the number at more than one million. No final total for 2022 has been provided by the Liberal government.

To understand Trudeau's full plans for immigration -- aka the Great Replacement -- look at the numbers of "temporary residents" -- those who were provided visas for education (e.g. at the Singh School of Trucking) and work (as drivers of killer 18-wheelers). Temporary visa holders accounted for 58% (!) of the 2022 intake of newcomers (58 per cent) in 2022.

That's based on the government's numbers, which may be off by as many as a million. Yet the Liberals plan to increase the pace of temporary immigration in the coming years. More than 900,000 international students are expected in 2024.

But wait, as Vince Offer used to say, there's more. To add to the "front door" permanent residents and the "back door" temporary residents”, there are all those self-styled refugees and migrants who make it to Canadian soil to seek asylum.

In 2022, the feds stated that nearly 40,000 people crossed through the notoriously open border at Roxham Road. However, reports from NGOs and the Québec government claimed that nearly 93,000 asylum-seekers had their bags carried for them by the Mounties. As well, there were 145,000 real refugees from Ukraine, and another 20,000 from Afghanistan.

Welcoming all these migrants -- the bad along with the good -- costs a shed-load of money. Supporting them puts increased pressure placed on social services, housing, and health care, all to be paid out of Canuck taxpayers' deep pockets.

In the federal budget for this year alone, there was a $1 BILLION ($700,000,000 in real money) for short-term accommodation and temporary health-care coverage for asylum-seekers and refugees -- $530 million for accommodations (in luxury hotels and the like) and $469 million for health benefits, some of which, like free dental care, are not available to Johnny Canuck.

The Honourable Mr Miller says Canada needs more immigrants to fill labour gaps, that we cannot build the homes we need without them. That would be fine if all the newcomers were working, but many working-age immigrants arrive with dependent children and spouses (who do not work) and are often joined later by retired (and often sickly) parents, grandparents, and family members. (It's called chain migration.) So, for every worker Canada gains it also gains at least one dependent.

Here are some more interesting numbers, which presented without (much) comment.
* According to the Canadian census, prior to 2015, 28% of immigrants came from the UK and Europe. That number is 2% today.
* Nearly 98% per cent of immigrants now come from India, China, Pakistan, Lebanon, Syria, and African countries, well known for their civilization and democracy.
* In recent years there has been a record spike in the numbers of immigrants who have left Canada (onward migration) because of high cost of living, housing issues, underemployment (because of Canada's systemic racism, of course), and the cold.
* Concomitantly [How long have you waited to use that word? Ed.], US border authorities have seen an alarming 47% increase in north-to-south illegal border crossings. One Republican presidential wannabe has called for a wall to be built on the World's Longest Undefended Border to keep them out!

As Canadians have known for years, but the Liberals refuse to admit (M-106 in force!) some immigrants bring their own toxic beliefs with them. Need proof? Watch the daily anti-Semitic demonstrations in almost every North American city. Given the never-ending flood of migrants from the Middle East and Africa, and lack of enforcement of deportation orders (HA-ha!), not just Jews but all citizens are left in a compromised and vulnerable position.

Remember this billboard from a not-so-long-ago election? It was deplored by the CBC and all other Forces for Good in Canuckistan. Max Bernier and the People's Party of Canada are still in search of their first seat in the House of Commons. However...

This week, Environics Research released survey results that showed 44% of Canadians feel that "overall, there's too much immigration to Canada."

Last month, an Ipsos poll showed 73%believe the government's "immigration targets should be reduced until the housing shortage eases," and 68% said there should be a cap on international students while the housing crisis is addressed.

Keith Neuman, the author of the Environics report, observed, "The main thing we're seeing is that people are more concerned about the capacity of the country to absorb a lot of newcomers when things aren't working as well as they were before."

No kidding?! You mean Johnny Canuck finally got it? Too bad for him, eh, because he's stuck with Junior and his gang of sycophantic elitists for the foreseeable future... or until the Liberal Party takes Junior out for a long walk in the snow... just like his dad.

UPDATED: Thinking of visiting Niagara Falls? Think again!

Walt has received a letter from an American friend who's visiting Niagara Falls, Canada, for some cheap shopping. (The US greenback is worth 1.37 beaverbucks so it's no wonder the mall parking lots are full of cars with US licence plates.)

If you're thinking of visiting the Honeymoon Capital of Canada [he writes], book your hotel room now, and don't be surprised if you have to share space, in the hotel and everywhere in Niagara Falls, with folks like this.

This pic appeared in the Toronto Sun on Friday. Niagara Falls has welcomed (???) nearly 5000 of these bogus refugees and asylum-seekers, who crossed the porous US-Canada border at Roxham Road, and were sent by the Liberal government to Niagara Falls because the government of Québec said they couldn't and wouldn't take any more.

Trudeau's ministry of DEI has booked another 500 (FIVE HUNDRED) rooms in NF hotels to house these benefit shoppers, many of whom were sent north by Brandon after having entered the USA illegally from Mexico, through the gaps in Trump's wall.

Some, like this chap (dressed as he is for the Canadian winter), came to the New York from Africa, and were given bus tickets to Roxham Road, which they took gratefully because Canadians will immediately give them shelter -- rooms in previously five-star hotels -- food (from food banks), free medicare, free taxi rides, etc etc, all paid for by you know who.

Let's see. Another 500 hotel rooms at, say, 5 or more per room, would be another 2500 to go with the >5000 who have arrived since November. Perhaps they will help Niagara's tourist attractions though. Since they don't have to work -- indeed they can't work! -- they have lots of time, and lots of Canuck taxpayers' money to spend seeing the sights. Hope genuine tourists don't mind sharing!

Looks like Trudeau has pulled the ole switcheroo on this one... locking the barn door (except for 15,000 more who he promised just yesterday to admit without any screening or questioning) AFTER the swine have gone inside. Pretty smart for him, damn gringo!

UPDATE added at 2200: A reader has commented (thank you) that the situation is even more dire in Brockville ON -- closer to the Québec border -- than Niagara Falls. Another has email to say that the3 same situation obrains in Wndsor ON, just across the border from Detroit MI. Why they are sending all these flotsam and jetsam to border towns is inexplicable. Maybe they're hoping that they'll make the jump south to get back into the USA???

Québec election: Anti-immigration sentiment propels CAQ to landslide

Ed. here. Normally we don't cover regional/local politics, but yesterday's election in the province of Québec has implications for all of Canuckistan, so we pressed our National Sports Editor, Poor Len Canadien, into service to analyse the result. Over to you, Len.

Tank youse, Hed. Hier soir au Centre Bell [Len? Len! The election, Len. Not the hockey game! Ed.]

Oh... yeah... Well... Four years and two days ago, François Legault led his fledgling Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), theretofore barely a blip in the polls, to a surprise victory over the Québec establishment, winning a majority of the seats in the Assemblée Nationale to form a new government.

The CAQ government made good on his promises, passing a number of controversial laws, including Bill 21 on the secularization of the state, which bars public school teachers and government officials in positions of authority from wearing religious symbols, including headgear. The law also denies fully veiled Muslim women access to health care and other government services.

The very first major piece of legislation passed by the CAQ on coming to power drastically reduced the number of immigrants admitted to Quebec, and requires them to provide evidence that they have learned democratic values and Quebec values.

Last May, M Legault's government passed into law Bill 96, which reinforces the primacy of French, "the official and common language of Québec", making it the only official language of la Belle Province.

All these measures were condemned by English-speaking federal and provincial politicians, the lickspittle media and all progressive thinkers, including Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface, as reactionary, xenophobic, divisive, discriminatory, anti-immigrant, chauvinistic, and (of course) racist. But the Québécois approved overwhelmingly, and the CAQ was almost universally predicted to win a second term in Monday's election.

So last night's result came as no surprise. The only shock was the extent of M Legault's re-election triumph. With most polls reporting (as of 0100 today, EDT), the Coalition Avenir Québec had bagged 89 seats (out of 125) in the Assemblée Nationale, 13 more than they started with, and close to the contemporary record established in 1989.

Both Radio Canada and TVA predicted a CAQ majority within 10 minutes of the closing of the polls at 2000. The only question for the rest of the evening was who would form the official opposition and how many seats would be left for the other three parties. In the end the once-mighty Liberals retained the title with 21 seats, six less than they had when the legislature was dissolved.

It is noteworthy that the Liberals, led by a Woman of Colour who grew up in Haïti, slipped to fourth place in the popoular vote, behind the Parti Québecois and socialist Québec Solidaire. That they got so many seats is due to the concentration of their support in Montréal, where their candidates were elected in predominantly English-speaking, Jewish and immigrant-majority ridings. The Liberals failed to elect a single candidate outside of the Montréal-Laval region. One commentator said (repeatedly), "There are  now two Québecs."

At the outset of the campaign, Premier Legault proclaimed immigration a key ballot issue. He implored voters to give him a clear majority so he would be in a strong position to demand the federal government cede to the province all but exclusive control over immigration. In a speech to the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, M Legault said it would be "suicidal" for the Quebec "nation" to increase its intake of immigrants since they are responsible for the decline of French.

This followed earlier remarks in which the Premier associated immigrants with crime and violence, and suggested they were a threat to Quebec values. CAQ Immigration Minister Jean Boulet was forced to apologize after stating in a radio debate, "80 per cent of immigrants go to Montreal, do not work, do not speak French or do not adhere to the values of Quebec society."

M Legault responded by saying M Boulet had "disqualified" himself from the position of Immigration Minister if the CAQ retained power. Note the careful wording. M Boulet remained the CAQ candidate in the riding of Trois-Rivières, which he won handily, and will probably remain in cabinet, just not in the immigration portfolio.

This photo, of Mounties welcoming "asylum-seekers" (fleeing the racist USA!) at Roxham Road, near Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC, illustrates perfectly the unfettered mass migration which Québécois reject. Since 2017, thousands of these "refugees" have crossed the US-Canada border illegally at this "unofficial" point of entry.

A recent Radio-Canada investigation revealed that the Just In Trudeau's ultra-woke government has spent half a billion dollars on infrastructure and services at the border crossing, to accommodate these illegal aliens in the name of "diversity".

Québec Conservative Party leader Eric Duhaime (whose party won 0 seats in yesterday's election) condemned illegal immigration and raised the idea of building a wall along the border. Imagine that! M  Duhaime’s rejection of illegal immigration is shared by the vast majority of Québécois outside of Montréal.

Over the last 15 years, as more and more "refugees" who cannot and will not be assimilated into Québec society have flooded into the province, people have become fed up with unreasonable accommodations being made for religious and racial minorities.

Call it "white supremacy" or "nationalism" or whatever you like, but the people of Québec, like those of France, Italy and even the American heartland are uniting against multilingualism, multiculturalism and the New World Order. There should be a lesson in that for politicians in TROC (The Rest of Canada). Whether they, especially Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives, will wake up and smell the coffee remains to be seen.

Trudeau to run for US Congress?

Nooooo.... It wasn't the gang at the Babylon Bee that made this up, but the normally serious editorial board of the The Wall Street Journal, who this week ran a similar headline, without the question mark. A subhead added "The Canadian Prime Minister can’t get enough of U.S. politics."

Seriously? You bet! The Emperor of Canuckistan just loves getting up on his hind feet and preaching about the issues of the day... as long as they're American issues!  If it's something Canadians care about -- health care, immigration, the price of gas -- M Trudeau is not interested. Ho-hum.

Case in point: On Sunday he made a special trip to London ON (flying for 45 minutes in a government jet, of course) to bang the drums against Islamophobia, on the first anniversary of the vehicular homicide of a Muslim family. An atrocious crime, to be sure, but were "millions upon millions" of Canadians grieving, as Mr Socks said? Noooo. The truth is that the vast majority of Canadians don't give even half a shit about Islamophobia.

The WSJ says, Mr Socks' pissing and moaning about this and other "issues" largely irrelevant to Canadians don't make any sense unless one considers the Liberals' desire to score points with an American audience, "or a Canadian audience who watches too much CNN."

Another example: Pretending that abortion "rights" are under threat in Canada. Fact is, there are no laws, federal or provincial, regarding the killing of unborn babies. No term limits, no restrictions of any kind. In Canada, it's abortion on demand. And the issue is not even debatable. Even Canada's so-called Conservative Party has made it clear that they will never introduce legislation to disrupt the status quo.

Another non-issue that has preoccupied Blackie McBlackface since the Buffalo massacre is gun control. He seems to think that more bans on guns in Canada will somehow stop mass shootings like the one in Uvalde TX, a mere 2000 miles or so from the World's Longest Undefended Border.

So he's decided to "freeze" the sale or transfer of handguns. The Uvalde shooting was committed with a long gun, but that doesn't matter. Neither does the fact that Canadian laws don't apply in Texas. Or the fact that Canada already has laws that effectively prohibit the legal purchase of handguns by almost everyone. The handguns used in the admittedly growing number of shootings in Canada are mostly smuggled in from the US of A and used by gangstas who are similarly smuggled in from other places.

Put those two concerns together, add in a couple of others (such as immigration), and you get Junior's unrelenting importation of American race and culture wars. As anyone who's lived outside the Ottawa bubble knows, the principal Canadian racial divide is the one between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians. Indigenous Canadians earn significantly less, their average life expectancy is 15 years earlier and they're disproportionately the victims of unmistakably racist attacks.

Yet M Trudeau, once insensitive to anti-black racism to the point of wearing blackface at costume parties, now thinks feels that combating such racism is more important than addressing the grievances of Canada's "First Nations". Here he is, "taking a knee" for 9 minutes at a Black Lives Matter protest over the shooting of the drug-addled felon George Floyd.

That was during the summer of 2020, when Black Lives Matter protests and (let's call a spade a spade) race riots roiled the USA. Since then, Mr Socks' government has repeatedly framed Canadian race relations as being inflected by the legacies of slavery and segregation, although African slavery in Canada ended 40 years earlier than in the USA.

The Liberals have introduced into the Canuck snivel service "anti-racism training" that mentions slavery more often than Indian Residential Schools. Emperor Trudeau also never fails to weep crocodile tears in response to every major American racial incident, while overlooking any number of Canadian equivalents.

Which bring us to Liberals' latest wheeze: doing someething about an over-incarceration problem that doesn't exist. "Sentencing reform" is a big issue in the USA for the singular reason that America has more prisoners (as a percentage of the total population) than any other country. But, according to the World Prison Brief, Canada is actually near the bottom of the league table when it comes to incarceration rates, ranking 143rd in terms of its per capita rate of people in jail.

It's true that jails and prisons in western provinces are full of Indigenous people, and those in Ontario are full of black people, but there's a reason for that. As anyone who watches the nightly news on TV stations in Winnipeg and Toronto, it's because the majority of both perpetrators and victims of violent crime are POCs (persons of colour).

Nevertheless, the Trudeau government has jumped on the American sentencing reform bandwagon with Bill C-5, which would drop mandatory minimum sentences for a host of violent crimes, including robbery with a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent, and extortion with a firearm. And speaking of gun smuggling (see above), C-5 would also reduce sentencing for six charges related to weapons trafficking.

Speaking (again) of smuggling, how about Junior's allowing in 60,000 illegal border crossers (for that's what they are!) to spite President Trump! The WSJ says Canada has never really faced a major migrant crises along its southern border. In 2017, 1000s of "refugees" and "asylum-seekers" began coursing through what Ottawa would come to call "irregular" border crossings, notably the one at Roxham Road near St-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC.

The crossings emerged entirely to bypass the Safe Third Country Agreement, under which refugee claimants at the US-Canadian border are turned away on the grounds that they’re already in a safe country. The influx neatly coincided with a tweet from Mr Socks, just after President Trump was sworn in, which read "To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith."

Did you catch that last phrase? That means "Muslims welcome!", which brings us back to where we started [and about time, too. Ed.] That tweet is easily the most-shared thing that Junior ever posted to the internet, and it was a direct response to President Trump's executive order barring entry to the USA by nationals of seven predominantly Muslim nations.

America's liberal media -- that's most of them! -- heaped praise on M Trudeau's head, and the Canadian media followed suit. Meanwhile, the back door opened wide for 1000s of inadmissible foreigners, who travelled to the USA on visitor visas for the express purpose of entering Canada illegally.

It hasn't been closed since, in spite of the election (?) of a new pro-Muslim president who quickly reversed the "anti-Muslim" executive order. "Terrorists don't need to go to Canada. You can stay right here in the USA. Don't forget to register as a Democrat!"

Did you catch the hint, two paragraphs above, that I'm out of space? There's only one way to wrap this up.

VIDEO: Tidal wave of illegal immigrants hits southern border

That's not the porous border between Mexico and the Great State of Texas I'm talking about, but the World's Longest Undefended Border -- and that's the problem! -- between Canada and the US of A.

Maybe the numbers of "refugees" and "asylum-seekers" fleeing "war-torn America" isn't as great as the millions who are inundating the US as part of the Biden/Soros Great Replacement, but the numbers of illegal border crosseings at the notorious Roxham Road entrance to Québec keeps increasing, with a majority of the migrants being unvaccinated.

To make matters worse, the Liberal government of Blackie McBlackface not only doesn't try to stop the unassimilable third-worlders from coming in, it actually welcomes then. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are there to help them with their bags and direct them to the welfare office at Lacolle. That's because the "refugees" are not supposed to work, but are entitled to generous welfare benefits for as long as it takes to "resolve their cases" (read: give them permnanent resident status).

Does the democratically-elected (by 33% of the voters) Emperor Trudeau II have any plan to stem the flow or otherwise address the growing alarm of native-born Canucks that they're becoming a minority in their country? We asked Alexa... meaning Alexa Lavoie of Rebel News. Here's her report.

Thanks to a backroom deal between the Trudeau Gliberals and the far-left-but-not-quite-communist "New" Democratic Party, the Canadian sheeple won't have any chance to express at the polls their delight (or otherwise) at having to live with -- literally -- 1000s of "refugees" from the shitholes of Africa and the Middle East until 2025. Walt predicts more Freedom Convoys as the snow begins to melt. Lifetime pct .985.

VIDEO: Trudeau closes US-Canada border, except for asylum seekers

This morning, Just In Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canuckistan, annouonced from his Ottawa residence -- he's "self-isolating", you know [virtue-signalling? Ed.] -- that he had agreed with Still-POTUS to close the World's Longest Undefended Border to residents of the Paranoid States of America, except for "essential" travel. No tourists, no holiday-makers, no cross-border shoppers. Right? Err, not quite. If you're a "refugee" or an asylum-seeker, you're welcome to cross at the hole in the fence [unofficial entry point, surely! Ed.] near Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC.

Around 1000 people a month have been entering Canada for nearly three years, there at Roxham Road and at other informal border crossings in order to request refugee status here, crossing over farmers' fields or well-trod paths to get around the Safe Third Country Agreement with the USA. That deal doesn't allow people to request asylum at official land border points, but people can lodge claims once inside the country illegally. Go figure!

Following his speech this morning, Mr Socks entertained questions, and was asked if the border would be closed at Roxham Road as well as "official" points of entry. He replied that everyone was being screened for Covid-19, so don't worry about it. On Tuesday, Wild Bill Blair, the Minister for Public Security, said the same thing. But, he explained, rather than following the normal protocol of referring them to temporary shelter -- most often in Montreal -- "alternative accommodation" has been arranged to house the "asylum-seekers" during the "voluntary" isolation period.

Details on that were not immediately available. Shuttle buses marked "Queen Elizabeth Hotel" were not seen by the reporter for The Rebel who tells us in this video what he did see. Canadians will not be pleased....

Less than 2% of illegal border cross deported from Canuckistan

Since Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Dressup, issued his famous Tweet -- "Everyone fleeing Trump's Amerika is welcome to Canada" -- in 2017, over 45,000 "asylum-seekers" have jumped across the US-Canada border, mostly at Roxham Road, near the small Québec town of Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle. In this picture, members of Canada's famous Mounted Police are shown carrying their bags and pointing them towards the nearest welfare office.

Most of the border jumpers are black. Many are Muslim. Many came from shitholes like Haiti and Nigeria to the USA on visitor visas for the express purpose of going to Canada where they would be welcomed by the Liberals, always on the lookout for new Liberal voters. M Trudeau and his minions call them "irregular border crossers", not "illegal immigrants".

At least three cabinet ministers -- The Hon. Ralph Goodale (Public Security), the Hon. Ahmed Hussen (Minister of Refugees and Immigration, and a "refugee" himself) and the Hon. Bill Blair (former Toronto police chief, now Minister of Fart-catching) -- keep assuring Canadians that there's no crisis at the border. Don't worry, they say, all of these people will be screened and vetted and "processed", and those found to be security risks or otherwise inadmissible will be deported.

That's the theory. The reality, as reported by Canadian Press today, is that only a small fraction of the bogus refugee claimants have so far been deported. Statistics obtained by CP from the Canada Border Services Agency show that as of 27 September, 843 people had been physically removed from Canada. Do the math. That's less than 2%. A further 671 people were awaiting removals after exhausting all their options to stay in the Great No-longer-white North.

1000s more are at various stages in the "process". Canada's understaffed Immigration and Refugee Board is backed up worse than someone on an all-cheese diet, and fewer than half of the asylum claims have been heard. If the IRB disallows claims, the "irregulars" have the right of appeal. So far, 85% of those who've lost their initial bids for asylum have contested the decisions before the IRB's appeal division, with the assistance of lawyers paid by Canuck taxpayers.

That means deportation proceedings for 6600 or more illegal border crossesrs have been put on hold. While the hearings and appeals drag on, the "asylum-seekers" are fed and housed, sometimes in big-city hotels, again courtesy of the generous (and stupid) Canadian taxpayer.

I say "stupid" because millions of Canadians will vote, next Monday, for politicians and parties who propose to do exactly nothing to close the Canada-US border. "Canadians welcome all newcomers, no matter how they get here. The system works. Don't listen to the racist anti-immigrant party." That's the message not just from the Trudeau Liberals, but also from Andrew Scheer's Cuckservatives, the Sikh-led NDP, and the loony left Green Party.

The only party proposing anything different is Maxime Bernier's People's Party of Canada. The PPC platform calls for an end to Liberal "all welcome" mass immigration, with the emphasis to be shifted to economic migrants who are capable of integrating into and making a positive contribution to Canadian society. That means no more (or at least fewer) "refugees".

M Bernier goes further, promising that he will close the border at Roxham Road and other weak points by building a fence. Check out the video in "Latest interview with Max Bernier: border fences, supply management and the Indian Act", WWW 26/9/19.

Dear Canadian friends, if you're tired of paying the bills for tens of 1000s of unqualified and unwelcome "refugees", tired of having your immigration system [Is dis a system? Ed.] gamed by welfare-shoppers, and you want to pull in the welcome mat, you know what to do on Monday. Vote PPC!

People's Party of Canada policy statement on refugees

Anticipating the general election scheduled for October 21st, Maxime Bernier's People's Party of Canada has released its policy papers on immigration, refugees and other critical issues on which Canadians will be asked to vote. Walt has just received the following press release which, IMHO, sets out a sensible policy not just for Canada but for the other AABC countries and western Europe. [Too bad it's too late for Europe. Ed.]

Refugees: Ending Open Borders Policies
and Prioritizing Persecuted Groups

Issue
The Liberal government is deliberately attempting to erase our borders. Over the past three years, it has done nothing to stop the flow of tens of thousands of asylum seekers illegally crossing our borders. Accepting all these refugees will cost Canadian taxpayers billions of dollars.

Moreover, in 2018, Canada welcomed more resettled refugees than any other Western country; more than the United States, a country with ten times our population, and as many as all of the European Union.

The UN’s Global Compact for Migration, which the Liberal government signed last year, aims to normalize this kind of situation, and to make it easier for millions of people to move to Canada and other Western democracies at will.

Facts
Since early 2017, more than 45,000 migrants have illegally entered Canada, mainly at Roxham Road in Quebec, avoiding official border checkpoints where they would be turned away and told to file refugee claims in the United States. About 40% of the refugee claims that have been processed have been rejected. These false refugees will eventually have to be deported, after costing governments tens of thousands of dollars each.

A report by the Parliamentary Budget Officer found that the federal government spends on average about $14,000 for each asylum seeker crossing into Canada outside of official border points. The total annual cost for federal agencies to process these claims is expected to reach $396 million in 2019-2020. It does not include expenses incurred by the provinces, territories or municipalities, which pick up costs related to social services.

Our Plan
Our current refugee policy is unsustainable, costly, and it is being abused by false refugees at our borders. This must end. The moral obligation of Canada’s government is to first help those in need among our own population, and then to give priority to real refugees.

A People’s Party Government Will:
  • Accept fewer resettled refugees (see also Immigration policy).
  • Take every measure necessary, in partnership with our American neighbours, to stop the flow of illegal migrants at the US-Canadian border.
  • Declare the whole border an official port of entry for the purposes of refugee claims to send back to the US anyone trying to enter Canada illegally.
  • Fence off the areas where illegal border jumping is prevalent, such as Roxham Road in Quebec.
  • Rely on private sponsorships instead of having the government pay for all the costs of resettling refugees in Canada.
  • Stop our reliance on the United Nations for refugee selection.
  • Give priority to refugees belonging to persecuted groups who have nowhere to go in neighbouring countries. For example: Christians, Yazidis, and members of other minority religions in majority Muslim countries; members of the Ahmadi community, and other Muslims in these countries who are persecuted because they reject political Islam and adhere to Western values; and members of sexual minorities.
  • Take Canada out of the UN’s Global Compact for Migration.
