Another stabbing in Sydney. Walt was right, this time!

We took quite a bit of flak over our post about the First Sydney Stabbing, which was the work of a demented "incel", not an Islamic terrorist. Ed. thought it better to remove a meme which was included in "'Allahu akbar!' in Sydney, Australia", WWW 13/4/24, and we did apologize for jumping to conclusions.

However, we didn't promise not to do it again. Good thing, because before the weekend was out, there was another stabbing in Sydney, when a man with a beard attacked Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel of the Assyrian Orthodox Church and stabbed him right in the middle of his homily! All this was captured on video. Click here to see the clip, which we posted yesterday.

At first, a spokesthingy (Constable Bruce Constable) told the meeja the motive for the attack on a Christian cleric was "unclear", but everyone jumped to the same conclusion anyway. We make no apology for running this meme again.

And so it was! And so it is, and (unless Santiago Matamoros intervenes) so shall it ever be!

Today, police arrested a 16-year-old boy who they allege (LOL) is the one shown in the video. Constable Constable's boss, New South Wales Police Commissioner Karen Webb, said the suspect’s comments pointed to a religious motive for the attack. She did not name the religion, but anyone who wants to bet (100-1) that it's not the Religion of Peace (TM) should just send me a cheque.

Said the boss cop, "We'll allege there’s a degree of premeditation on the basis that this person has travelled to that location, which is not near his residential address, he has travelled with a knife and subsequently the bishop and the priest have been stabbed... They’re lucky to be alive."

Commissioner Webb said the teenager was known to police but was not on a terror watch list. Notice the implicit bias there. He was only a kid, never known to be a terrorist, a good boy trying to turn his life around. Where have we heard that before?

The Australian Security Intelligence Organization, the nation's main domestic spy agency, and Australian Federal Police had joined state police in a counter-terrorism task force to investgate who else was potentially involved. ASIO director-general Mike Burgess said the investigation had yet to uncover any associated threats. "It does appear to be religiously motivated,: he said "but we continue our lines of investigation."

But wait, Mr Burgess had more to say. “Our job is to look at individuals connected with the attacker to assure ourselves that there is no-one else in the community with similar intent." Walt says, oh really? No-one else? This kid was the only jihadi wannabe imported into the woke land of Oz in the last few years because the Aussie politicians don't want to be labelled as Islamophobes?

Mr Burgess then contradicted himself by adding that the risk of a terrorist attack in Australia is rated at "possible" -- the second lowest level on the five-tier National Terrorism Threat Advisory System after "not expected".

He didn't actually say "Don't worry. Be happy." What does Walt say to his Aussie readers and friends? "Don't be surprised!"

VIDEO: Saint James Matamoros, Spain needs you again!

One of our agents, whose name saint is James the Greater, reminded me that I didn't say anything about the Saint on his feast day, July 25th. I can only plead being preoccupied with the shooting in Toronto's Greektown, which was the evil work of an allegedly deranged Muslim who some suspect of being, if not a full-fledged jihadi, at least in sympathy with ISIS.

I thought about Saint James earlier today, as I was writing "Spain said they'd take 'refugees' Italy refused. Guess what happened?" As this short video from the good folks at The Remnant explains, it was Saint James ("Santiago" in Spanish) Matamoros (= "killer of Moors") who led the Christian Spanish to victory over the Muslim invaders from Morocco (so, "Moors") at the Battle of Clavijo in 844.

Now that the left-wing Spanish government has started welcoming boatloads of Muslim invaders, disguised as "refugees", into the land from which the Moors were finally expelled in 1492, pilgrimages to Santiago Compostela and many prayers to Saint James Matamoros, patron of Spain, seem very much in order.

"Allahu akbar!": another Islamic terrorist attack in France

Ed. was just putting the finishing touches on the piece about the Islamic terrorist attack in Edmonton, Canada (see below) when the mojo wire spat out a bulletin about a stabbing at the central train station in Marseille, in southern France. Two people are confirmed dead after what a source told Reuters was a "terrorist attack". Witnesses said they heard the attacker yell "Allahu akbar!" before being shot dead by soldiers of the French army.

That's all we have at the moment. We are going to Mass to pray for the return of Santiago Matamoros. If you haven't already done so, click on "Aux Français! L'avertissement du Général Charles De Gaulle".

Muslim civil war continues as ISIS strikes Iran

From Tehran, the capital of Iran, comes a reminder that Islam is not monolithic. As with the other Religions of the Book -- Christianity and Judaism -- there are a number of divisions and even more subdivisions, each one claiming that they and only they have the True Faith. The main groups Sunni extremists, including ISIS, despise Shia-majority Iran. Iran has also come under attack in the past by Arab insurgents. The two biggest Muslim groups are the Sunnis and the Shias. (Westerners used to call Shias "Shi'ites", but had a tendency to mispronounce the word.) They hate each other.

Wahabism, the sect that dominates Saudi Arabia, is an extreme form of Sunni Islam, which is itself more extreme than the Shia version. Sunni extremists, including ISIS, despise Iran, which is mostly Shia. There's also an ethnic divide, as the Iranians aren't Arabs, but a different ethnic group which we used to call "Persian". Anyway, whether through fear or having other things to do -- blowing up Christians -- ISIS hasn't attacked Iran... until today.

Today, ISIS has claimed responsibility for a deadly pair of attacks on Iran's parliament and... wait for it... the shrine of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

The Tehran attacks began mid-morning, local time, when assailants armed with AK-47s stormed Iran's parliament building, where a session was in progress. One of the attackers blew himself up inside. The siege lasted until mid-afternoon. Not counting the jihadis, 12 innocent Muslims were killed and 42 wounded. This is the first ISIS attack on Iran itself. Until now, when not hunting "infidels" in the streets of London, Paris, Berlin etc., ISIS has been fighting Iranian-backed forces in Syria and Iraq.

In addition to being lethal, the attack on the shrine of Khomeini is symbolically stunning. As Iran's first Supreme Leader, Khomeini is a towering figure in the country and was its revolutionary leader in the 1979 ouster of the shah.

And here's a little detail for clueless Western security forces to keep in mind. Iranian Deputy Interior Minister Mohammad Hossein Zolfaghari told Iran's state TV the "apparently male" attackers wore women's attire. Just yesterday Walt told you about the (perhaps) demented Arab woman who rampaged through a Canadian Tire store in Toronto, attacking innocent bystanders with a golf club (really) and a knife which she had hidden under her Islamic attire. Her face was obscured by a niqab, which she was still wearing when she appeared in court yesterday afternoon.

Dear readers, the Muslim civil war is being fought in the Middle East, but the Islamic extremists' mission to conquer the world (or at least the worthwhile parts of it) and exterminate the "infidels" (meaning US) knows no boundaries. I don't recommend nuking Iran or Syria or Saudi Arabia or Iraq. I think we should let them fight it out until there's just one left and then throw that guy down a deep well. But I do think we should defend ourselves and our Western Christian (?) civilization in our own lands. And the best defence is a good offence!

Question of the day: Where is Santiago Matamoros (St. James, slayer of Moors) now that we need him?

"Allahu akbar!" again, back in the USA this time

Walt has asked before, where's Santiago Matamoros (Saint James, Slayer of Moors), now that we need him? It was he who drove the "Moors"* (= Moroccans = Arabs = Muslims) out of the Iberian peninsula (Spain and Portugal) in the 16th century. Many citizens of post-Christian Europe are hoping, perhaps even praying that St James will reappear to save them from the invasion of Middle Eastern and northern African Muslims which has now reached crisis proportion.

Similar sentiments are increasingly heard in North America, where white Christians are quickly becoming sick, sore and tired of the Islamization of their communities, and the crimes -- female genital mutilation, honour killings and terrorist murders -- being perpetrated in the name of "Allah the merciful" and his "religion of peace".

The latest murderous attack by a professed follower of the Prophet was yesterday's killing, in Fresno CA, of three innocent people who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The killer has been identified as one Kori Ali Muhammad -- like Muhammad Ali, only backwards, geddit? -- who was tackled and arrested even as he shouted "Allahu akbar!" ("God is great!", in Arabic).

In spite of his name, Mr Muhammad is no Arab, and probably not a true son of Islam either. Public records list him as Cory Taylor and other aliases with addresses in Fresno and Sacramento. Chief Jerry Dyer of the Fresno PD police chief said his former name was Cory McDonald. A woman who identified herself as his grandmother said Tuesday that the family last saw him on Easter Sunday. She hung up the phone before giving her name. His brother, who also didn't want to be identified by name, said, "I never would have thought he would do anything like this." Describing him as a funny and intelligent man, the bro said he was "just kind of shocked."

Chief Dyer said that, in spite of the fact that Mr Muhammad/McDonald/Taylor kept yelling "Allahu akbar!", he was no Islamic terrorist. He was just a crazy [politically incorrect word deleted. Ed.] who wanted to kill as many white people as possible. "These were unprovoked attacks by an individual that was intent on carrying out homicides today. He did that," the top cop told reporters. "This is solely based on race."

Mr Muhammad/McDonald/Taylor faces four counts of murder and at least two additional charges of assault with a deadly weapon. On what appeared to be his Facebook page, he repeatedly posted "#LetBlackPeopleGo" and encouraged "black warriors" to "mount up." He wrote that his "kill rate increases tremendously on the other side" and also posted about "white devils". On several occasions, he wrote updates that included the phrase "Allahu Akbar!" Walt wonders how Allah feels about having atrocities like this committed by infidels like Mr Muhammad. No 72 virgins in paradise for him!

UK "terror incident" - Guess the missing word!

Here is a selection of headlines from the lamestream media, relating to yesterday's "terror incident" at the estate of the British parliament, in which four people were killed and 20 injured or wounded.

[That's enough headlines. Ed.] Quite right. The point of listing all these is to demonstrate the egregious self-censorship of the lamestream media (including Fox News) in the USA, Canada, and even the UK itself. What the (((controlled))) media don't want to admit in print or in broadcast news, is the fact that the attacker, who has not yet been named publicly, had been investigated by MI5, the UK intelligence service, "in relation to concerns of violent extremism".

Putting it more bluntly than the pussy-footing British PM, they know who he is, and they know he's a Muslim, an Islamic extremist, just as Walt predicted in yesterday's post. But the words "Muslim" and/or "Islamic" appear nowhere, nowhere, in any statements, press releases, or media reports of the "terror incident".

So far today I've seen only one reference to the religion or motivation of the attacker. That was in the Times of London, where the sub-head to the story titled "Seven Arrested in Terror Raids" is "Police swoop in London and Birmingham after Islamist kills three".

You're not being told that the perp is a Muslim for reasons of political correctness. I'll give Fox News credit for running "Hirsi Ali: Islamic Terrorists 'Don't Go to Liberals and Say Thank You' for Being PC". Here's a quote.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali criticized what she considered the "apologetic attitude" some liberals around the world have toward identifying the religious component to Islamic terrorism. Ali, a women rights activist who was raised Muslim in Somalia but later became an apostate, called such a mindset "masochistic and stupid." She said on Tucker Carlson Tonight that radical Islamic terrorists "don't go to liberals and say thank you so much, we'll stop terrorizing you" because of some on the left refuse to identify terrorism's religious component.

That's the problem. If they identify the Islamic terrorist as such, they challenge the liberal orthodoxy that Muslims are really nice people and don't want to kill all non-Muslims and establish their "caliphate" in Europe and America. They don't want to stoke the fires of "Islamophobia", already burning brightly in the USA and western Europe, and now, even in Canada. See "Nearly 50% of Canucks want border-jumpers deported", WWW 20/3/17.

Speaking of which... the Canadian parliament, by unhappy coincidence, is today debating M-103, a non-binding motion by M.P. Iqra Khalid [an Irish-Canadian? Ed.] condemning Islamophobia and "all forms of systemic racism and religious discrimination". Though largely symbolic, the motion would direct the Commons heritage committee to study the issue and develop strategies to tackle the alleged problem.

Free speech advocates fear that the "strategies" could include measures such as prohibiting the disclosure of a terrorist's identity, ethnicity, religion or "belief system" -- in other words, censorship of the facts of "incidents" such as the attack on Westminster. Many Conservatives have said they cannot support the motion because it does not define Islamophobia, leading some to fear it could stifle free speech and criticism of Islam. Others have argued that the motion provides special treatment to one religion over others.

It appears to me that the self-censorship of the lamestream media makes any "anti-Islamophobia" laws unnecessary. M-103 has the support of the governing Liberals and the pinko NDP, and is expected to pass easily. After all, "terror incidents" may happen in Paris, Brussels and London, but they would never happen in Ottawa... would they? Oh... wait...

FOOTNOTE: The mojo wire is spitting out reports that the Islamic State is claiming responsibility for the Westminster attack. ISIS said through its Aamaq News Agency that the attacker was a soldier of the Islamic State who "carried out the operation in response to calls for targeting citizens of the coalition" of countries fighting IS in Syria and Iraq.

British officials did not release the attacker's identity or confirm a link with the Islamic State group, though British Prime Minister Teresa May, in a statement which takes a WWW award for obfuscation, said it would be wrong to describe the attack as "Islamic" extremism. "It is Islamist terrorism," she said. "It is a perversion of a great faith." Anyone who can figure out the distinction between Islamic extremism and Islamist terrorism is invited to do so in the comments window below. Keep it down to 25 words or less, please.

ANOTHER FOOTNOTE: If the Rt. Hon. Teresa May means that Islam is the "religion of peace" the liberals keep apologizing for, perhaps she can explain why Muslims like Khalid Masood -- now identified as the attacker at Westminster -- keep trying to kill non-Muslims. As for me, I just ask, where's Santiago Matamoros (St. James the Moor-slayer -- see featured post), now that we need him more than ever.

"Dutch Trump" reveals REALLY tough policy on migrants

So you think President Trump is coming down hard on bogus "refugees" and other illegal immigrants? Meet Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch populist Freedom Party (PVV). Netherlanders go to the polls on March 18th, and current opinion polls show PVV on track to win about 30 seats, which would make them the largest party in the new parliament.

What is it that makes Meneer Wilders and the PVV so popular? Glad you asked! It's the Dutch pushback against the invasion of their country by hordes of "refugees", asylum-seekers and other, mostly Muslim, third-world "migrants". Encouraged by Brexit and the election of President Trump [Are you SJWs getting used to it yet? LOL. Ed.] to believe they can turn things around, Dutch voters will be heading to the polls to vote for the PVV's frankly anti-immigrant platform, which includes "zero asylum", the de-Islamization of the Netherlands, the revoking of all "asylum" grants, the banning of all immigration from Muslim nations, and withdrawal from the European Union.

If you can read Dutch, click here to see the PVV election platform
. They promise to:
  • close Holland's borders
  • revoke all existing "asylum" residence permits
  • close all "refugee welcome centres"
  • ban Islamic headgear
  • denaturalize all criminal immigrants with dual nationality
  • keep ISIS supporters who fought in Syria from re-entering the country
  • close all mosques and Islamic schools
  • leave the European Union
  • institute a system of binding citizens' referenda
  • cancel all public funding for “foreign aid,” and
  • lower taxation as state expenditure drops.
Wow! Wouldn't you, dear AABC [American, Australian, British, Canadian] reader, love to see that programme implemented in your country? I want to believe it is possible to take our countries back from the third world invaders. There are precedents! Click here to read the story of Santiago Matamoros (Saint James the Slayer of Moors), who drove the Muslims out of Spain (WWW 24/7/14).

The PVV's hard-line policy has provoked a storm of protest from all the other parties in the Netherlands, who have called for a "cordon sanitaire" around the PVV to try and prevent it from taking part in a coalition government. During a recent television interview, Mr Wilders predicted PVV would be included in the next government, in spite of other parties' vowing not to work with him. "They'll have to [abandon their pledges]," he said. "You can' just shove two and a half million people aside after democratic elections. That would be very ill-advised."

Mr Wilders tweeted that there would be a non-violent revolt if the PVV was sidelined, and pointed out that an alternative left-right coalition would have to encompass five or more parties. "This will prove unworkable, and that kind of coalition would be so unstable that not only will it not serve the country, but it will be lying on its ass within a year, to put it crudely," he said. "The [immigration] sluices are wide open. We have to close our borders. Before the end of this century, Africa's population is going to increase from one to four billion people, and many of them want to come here. Only if you go to the polling booth and vote, can the Netherlands be ours once again."

St. James the Greater, "Slayer of the Moors"

July 25th is celebrated in the Universal Church as the Feast Day of Saint James the Greater, Apostle. At least one of Walt's agents was named after St. James, so, for those who don't know, an introduction of the saint follows, along with a few words about why he is known in Spain and Spanish-speaking countries as "Santiago Matamoros" -- Saint James the Moor-slayer.

Walt has had the privilege of visiting the shrine at Santiago de Compostela, in Galicia (northwestern Spain), which honours James the brother of John. The Gospels (Matthew 4:21-22; Mark 1:19-20; Luke 5:10-11) tell us the two were fishermen, the sons of Zebedee, partners with Simon Peter. Jesus called them from mending their nets beside the sea of Galilee at the beginning of His ministry. James, the son of Zebedee, is called "the Greater" to distinguish him from the St. James the Lesser, another of the twelve Apostles, who was apparently shorter. No kidding. Source: the Catholic Encyclopedia.

The Catholic Encyclopedia also tells us that Our Lord nicknamed James and John "the sons of thunder", because they were burning and impetuous in their evangelical zeal and severe in temper. (Mark 3:17) The two brothers showed their fiery temperament against "a certain man casting out devils" in the name of the Christ. John, answering, said: "We [James is probably meant] forbade him, because he followeth not with us" (Luke 9:49). When the Samaritans refused to receive Christ, James and John said, "Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them?" (Luke 9:54; cf. 9:49).

In Matthew 20:21-23 it is recorded that Salome, the brothers' mother, asked Jesus "that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left, in thy kingdom." Our Lord replied "You know not what you ask. Can you drink the chalice that I shall drink?" The brothers, not knowing the deeper meaning of the words, said they could. And Jesus told them that indeed they would do so.

According to Tradition, St. James the Greater preached Christianity in Spain sometime between the Ascension and his return to Judaea and martyrdom in A.D. 44. At that year's Passover, Herod Agrippa I (grandson of Herod the Great) "killed James, the brother of John, with the sword." He was the first of the Apostles to be martyred, "seeing that it pleased the Jews". (Acts 12:1-3)

The saint's followers are believed to have carried his body to the coast and put it into a stone boat, which was carried by Holy Angels and the wind beyond the Pillars of Hercules (the straits of Gibraltar), to land near Padrón, on the Atlantic coast of northern Spain. The local queen, Lupa, provided the team of oxen used to draw the body from Padrón to the site of the marble tomb, a little way inland, which she had also provided. James was believed to have been buried with two of his own disciples, Athanasius and Theodore. The site of his tomb was forgotten for some eight centuries.

Early in the 9th century, a hermit, Pelayo, was led by a vision to the spot. The tomb was rediscovered, and the relics authenticated by the local bishop as those of St. James. To protect the sacred relics from the invading Norman French, they were moved to Compostela -- "field of stars" -- which became one of the three greatest places of pilgrimage in the world, the other two being Rome and Jerusalem.

Now we come to the "Matamoros" part. At the time the tomb of St. James was found and his relics moved, Spain sorely needed a champion to inspire Christians against the invading Moors. "Moors" -- the Arabian Muslims inhabiting the northern coast of Africa, including present-day Morocco. Think Moor-occo! Thus the rediscovery came at a most propitious moment.

Legend has it that St. James -– Santiago -– appeared to Christian troops during the Battle of Clavijo in 844. Inspired by the vision of the saint, the Spanish Christians defeated a much bigger army of Muslims. Conflict between Christians and Muslims raged in the Iberian peninsula for the next six-and-a-half centuries, until 1492, and Santiago was recognized and adopted as the divine leader of the Christian forces. He was given the name Matamoros, "Slayer of Moors" i.e. killer of Muslims.

Santiago subsequently became the patron saint of Spain. "Santiago y cierra, España!" -- "St. James and attack, for Spain!" -- became the battle cry of Spanish armies as they slowly recovered the Iberian peninsula from its Muslim rulers. The cry persisted into modern times and was frequently used as a nationalistic slogan during the Spanish Civil War and in the Franco era that followed.

Today, such sentiments are politically incorrect. Pope Francis tells us the Muslims are our friends, we all worship the same God and whether you're Christian or Jewish or Muslim doesn't really matter. Of course that's heresy, but that's the nub of the false ecumenism which the Vatican keeps preaching at us. Meanwhile, the Muslims have reinvaded not just Iberia, but all of Europe. Walt recommends a prayerful visit to Santiago de Compostela.

"Total war against Islam" taught at Pentagon... no longer

Walt has been wondering what possessed the American soldiers who burned copies of the Qu'ran, had themselves photographed pissing on corpses, or went on a killing spree offing 16 (or so) Afghans. Is this any way to win the hearts and minds of those benighted Muslims? What were they thinking?!

Turns out the idea of waging "total war" against the Afghans and all Muslims has been put into the troops' robotic minds by the Pentagon! BBC News reports that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was shocked and saddened to hear that the Joint Forces Staff College has been teaching that America’s enemy is Islam in general (not just terrorists) and suggesting that the USA might ultimately have to obliterate the Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina without regard for civilian deaths.

Gen. Martin Dempsey said the course was "totally objectionable" and "against our values", and has now been suspended. That's "suspended" like the Santorum and Gingrich campaigns, not "cancelled". Certain training materials at the FBI have also been rewritten for being similarly politically incorrect.

The military now says that the teaching in the course, led by Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley, was at odds with the government's repeated claims that the American war in Iraq and Afghanistan -- not forgetting Libya -- is against Islamic extremists. It's not a Christian crusade against Islam itself. As if Hussein Obama would be leading a Christian crusade!

Before we condemn Lt. Col. Dooley, let's hear a bit of what he was saying to his students. In a presentation last July at the Staff College, he said, "[The Muslims] hate everything you stand for and will never coexist with you, unless you submit."

He went on to say that, for the purposes of his theoretical war plan, the Geneva Conventions that set standards of armed conflict are "no longer relevant". "This," he added, " would leave open the option once again of taking war to a civilian population wherever necessary (the historical precedents of Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki being applicable...)."

Lt. Col. Dooley's war plan suggested possible outcomes such as "Saudi Arabia threatened with starvation ... Islam reduced to cult status" and the Muslim holy cities of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia "destroyed".

Pretty strong stuff. But wait a minute. Haven't we seen this movie before? Only with the characters reversed... Aren't the Muslims saying that we "Christians" are mounting a crusade, a holy war, against Islam? Aren't they calling on the faithful to wage jihad against us? Haven't they plotted to destroy our cities and holy places, just as they did in the Middle Ages? Is it not their wish...their prayer...to wipe the infidels (i.e. non-Muslims) off the face of the earth?

Where is Santiago Matamoros (St. James the Moor-slayer) when we need him?
