Meanwhile in France: Muslim yells "Allahu akbar!" as 3 stabbed to death

Yes, there is a world outside the Excited States of America. It's not only the US of A that is struggling to combat the corona virus. Italy, Germany and France, even Canada, have all seen sharp spikes in the numbers of infections and deaths this week. Unlike in America, the people of those countries don't blame their heads of state/government for something which is clearly beyond their leaders' control.

Some countries have other things to worry about. Like France. The land of liberté, égalité et fraternité has a problem accommodating about 10% of its population who don't believe in those things. Yes, we're talking about the millions of Muslims -- immigrants, "refugees" and asylum-seekers -- who have taken over large areas of French cities and towns, bent on turning them into replicas of the shitholes they came from.

In such places, the call to Islamic prayers is heard from the mosques five times a day, the call to kill infidels is whispered in gatherings of Islamic terrorists, and, all too often, shouts of "Allahu akbar!" are heard in the streets as "infidels" (non-Muslims) are murdered. 

Such was the case today in Nice, a toney seaside down on France's Mediterranean coast, and in the pleasant small city Avignon... where people dance on the bridge. [Walt refers to "Sur le pont d'Avignon". Ed.] English-speaking readers may send us a postcard. France has been struck by two Islamic terror attacks within hours of each other. 

Three people have been killed -- two by beheading -- in an attack inside a cathedral in Nice before a fanatical Muslim gunman was shot dead by police in Avignon. The first attack began around 0900 local time at Nice's Notre Dame cathedral, where a knifeman beheaded an elderly female parishioner and a male church warden, fatally stabbed a second woman and wounded several others before being shot and arrested by police.

Two hours later, a gunman threatened people on the streets of Avignon, 120 miles north of Nice, while shouting "Allahu Akbar!" The follower of the Prophet was shot dead by police before he could harm any infidels. In spite of the shouts, politically correct French authorities told Europe 1 only that an investigation has been opened. "Toutes les pistes sont envisagées," said Inspector Clouseau, "mais pour l'instant nous n'avons pas de caractère islamiste". Seriously?!

Christian Estrosi, the Mayor of Nice, was not so circumspect, telling BFM TV, "He cried 'Allah Akbar!' over and over, even after he was injured. The meaning of his gesture left no doubt." French Prime Minister Jean Castex, addressing l'Assemblée Nationale, said "Cette attaque aussi lâche que barbare endeuille le pays." ("This cowardly and barbarous attack leaves the country in mourning.")

Under Still-President Trump, the US of A has largely closed its doors to would-be immigrants, "refugees" and even visitors from majority Muslim countries. It's not Islamic extremists that are attacking Americans, burning their cities and looting their businesses, but anti-Christian, anti-Western, anti-everything "mostly peaceful protesters" of the BLM/SJW/Antifa variety. Dear American reader, do you trust Old Joe Biden to put a stop to their cowardly and barbarous attacks? I don't!

I used to be a frequent flyer, and I'm not just talking North America, but Europe, Asia and even the Dark Continent. Saw a lot of weird stuff, but never (thanks be to God) anything like this.



According to Aerotime News, this happened yesterday afternoon aboard a Boeing 737-800 operated by Transavia (the discount airline of Air France-KLM) as flight TO4118 from Paris Orly to Tunis Carthage International Airport.

Somewhere over Sardinia, the big guy with the beard, a Tunisian and a devout follower of the Prophet Mohammed, decided he wanted to go into the aisle of the aircraft to say his prayers. The cabin crew took a dim view of this -- perhaps luncheon was being served -- and wrestled the man, heard shouting "Allahu akbar!" to the deck.

You can also hear passengers shouoting, perhaps responding to the man's cries that he was Muslim like them and that they should help him! Aerotime News quotes local news outlet France Bleu as saying the cabin crew thought the man was heading for the cockpit and they'd better do something before there was an MH370-type incident.

After the man was subdued, the plane was diverted to the Nice-Côte d’Azur airport, where it landed safely. Although he fought furiously, again shouting "Allahu akbar", the passenger was arrested by the gendarmes and transported (at no extra charge) to the local hoosegow. However, "after medical examination, his health condition led to lifting custody in the prospect of forced hospitalization in a psychiatric facility," according to the city prosecutor.

The rest of the passengers spent the night in Nice before continuing their trip this morning. [Nice! Ed.]

Islamist truck attack in Berlin leaves 9 dead

The mojo wire is hot, really hot today! BBC and other reports from Germany say that a large truck has ploughed into a Christmas market in the heart of Berlin, killing nine people and injuring many more, perhaps as many as 50. Video footage from the scene shows stalls knocked over and people lying injured on the ground. We have raw footage, which may be difficult to watch! [Got your attention now? Ed.]

NOTE FROM ED. ADDED 11/12/18. The video which was embedded in this post has apparently been deleted by either Global News or the PC police enforcing Canada's notorious M-103 (Say nothing bad about Muslims) policy.

The market is at Breitscheidplatz, close to the Kurfuerstendamm, the main shopping street in the city's west. It is situated at the foot of the Kaiser Wilhelm memorial church, which was kept as a bombed-out ruin after World War Two. The truck drove into the crowd around 8 PM local time, when the market was crowded with people drinking mulled wine and eating sausages. [C'mon! If this happened in Detroit you wouldn't talk about people eating fried chicken and watermelon, would you? Ed.] Speaking to CBC News from Berlin, freelance journalist Nick Spicer said "If you wanted to hurt a large number of people with a truck, this is the kind of place you would go to."

Die Polizei have arrested the truck driver, but have so far declined to provide details of his ethnicity and religion. Nor have they confirmed or denied reports that cries of "Allahu akbar!" were heard. This event evokes memories of a similar attack massacre of Bastille Day crowds in Nice, France, when 86 innocent people were massacred. That atrocity was perpetrated by "soldiers" of the Islamic State.

Walt will not be able to confirm this as a case of Islamic terrorism until the German police deny that there is any link between the attack and Angela Merkel's "Willkommenskultur". Ms Merkel is up for re-election next year. Today's massacre could be a Russian attempt to discredit her and cause her to lose!

Another ISIS-inspired random attack, Germany this time

Arentcha getting tired of it? I am. It was just over two months ago that we heard about a random attack on a German train. A quick click on my post will remind you that German authorities at first tried to hide the fact that the perp was... wait for it... a radical Muslim asylum-seeker, one of the million-plus allowed into the Fatherland by Angela Merkel's insane "Willkommenskmultur" policy.

That was just an isolated incident, right? It wouldn't happen again because the "refugees" and asylum-seekers are (mostly) poor, frightened, peace-loving people, and their religion, Islam, is "the religion of peace". If you thought that, you were wrong. It did happen again. Just yesterday a 17-year-old man ran amok on a train (again) near the town of Wuerzburg, in southern Germany (again). He injured four Chinese tourists, one critically, before being shot dead by (white) police.

The yoof has not been named because he was a minor, but, in a case of "suspicions confirmed", the Polizei have revealed that he was an Afghan who had claimed asylum after travelling to Germany a year ago as an unaccompanied minor. He had been living with the foster family since moving from a refugee centre in the town two weeks ago. His last words, as he was hacking away at the Chinese were... wait for it... "Allahu akbar!!!"

After the dust had settled and the blood mopped up, police searched the kid's room and found a hand-painted black flag of ISIS. Also found, according to the Bavarian Minister of the Interior, was a text written in Pashtun which showed a strong indication that the teenager "could be a person who had been self-radicalized". The minister said those who had interacted with the young man in recent months described him as calm and quiet and they could not understand his actions. Just like the driver of the Nice death truck.

The minister went on to say that the teenager had gone to the mosque on special occasions, but no-one had noticed any radical behaviour and there were no signs "yet" of a direct link to jihadist networks. Even as the minister spoke, the Amaq news agency -- a PR outfit with links to ISIS -- said the teenager was an IS "fighter", who "carried out the operation in answer to the calls to target the countries of the coalition fighting the Islamic State."

That's enough for me. I need a few days off. I want to go someplace peaceful. Maybe Cleveland....

Nice massacre: UPDATED with comment from Rex Murphy

At least 84 people have been killed in city of Nice, on the French Riviera, after an armed man drove a tractor-trailer for well over a mile at full speed through a crowd who had gathered to watch the Bastille Day fireworks over the seafront. The attack on France’s national day came eight months after 130 people were killed in coordinated attacks on a stadium, bars and a rock concert at the Bataclan venue in Paris. In January of 2015 another dozen people were killed in the Charlie Hebdo attacks. That makes three major terrorist attacks in 18 months, with 226 killed, and counting....

By whom and for what? In a rare moment of comprehension, President François Hollande said the Nice killings on Thursday night appeared to be a terrorist attack. But, he and the lamestream media rushed to say, it was too early to speculate on the motivation, identity or possible affiliation of an attacker. That was last night. This morning, in the cold light of dawn, French security forces revealed that the driver of the monster truck was Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, an immigrant from Tunisia.

Tunisia is a former French colony on the Mediterranean coast of Africa. There were two massacres of innocent people, mostly tourists, in Tunisia last year. On 26 June 2015, 38 people were killed when an armed gunman attacked a hotel in Sousse. Three months earlier, 22 more were killed in an attack at the Bardo National Museum. The attackers were Islamic extremists, acting on the commands of the Holy Qu'ran to kill infidels wherever they might be found.

M Bouhlel was an Arab and a follower of the Prophet. He is said to have been "known to police", but was not on any security watchlist. No-one heard his last words, amidst the screams of the dying, and the bangs of the fireworks and gunfire, but Walt wouldn't be surprised if his last moments sounded like this!
