Following Still-President Trump's stirring State of the Union address Tuesday night, Nervous Nancy Pelosi ostentatiously ripped up the copy of the speech which was handed to her at the opening of proceedings.
At least, I think it was the speech. It might have been the Articles of Impeachment which the Senate found unfounded the next day. But assuming it was indeed her copy of the President's speech, Ms Pelosi should lawyer up and get ready to defend herself against criminal charges. Check out this provision of the U.S. Code.
18 U.S. Code § 2071.Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally
(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
Looks like Nervous Nancy's petty publicity stunt could have some major consequences... unless of course President Trump, magnanimous man that he is, decides to forgive her!

VIDEO: Walt reacts to President Trump's State of the Union speech
My sentiments exactly.
If you missed the best speech Still-President Trump ever gave, you can read the full text here, on Breitbart News.

VIDEO: "Everybody hurts": reaction to President Trump's SOTU speech
Here it is, folks -- the meme that Twitter doesn't want you to see! This video, made by a supporter of (still) President Trump, was pinnted to the top of Mr Trump's Twitter account on Friday (Feb 15th) but was quickly censored... taken down... disappeared into the ether... it exists no more.
But it's still on YouTube, at least for now. Watch and see the pained expressions on the faces of Fauxcahontas, Mitt Romney, Nancy Pelosi and that crazy AOC woman, all set to "Everybody hurts", by R.E.M. Watch it NOW, before YouTube also deletes it.
Why does this little meme keep getting censored by the lamestream media? Because they know that the majority of the American people -- real Americans -- are buying what the President is selling. You can't argue with success!

VIDEO: Better than Obama's "State of the Union"
Walt has recovered now -- only just -- from watching the Prez deliver his incredibly self-serving State of the Union address. Words fail me... or almost. It was like watching an aging rock star, long past his best-by date, trying to explain why he was famous in the first place.
The crises have passed, Mr. Obarmy told Americans. Financial crisis? The US national debt has increased by $[Ed., how many zeros in a trillion?] in the six years of his "stewardship", but there's no crisis.
Two wars are over, the Prez said. Last time I looked (this morning) Americans were still in combat against Islamic terrorists in the Middle East, in the same country (Iraq) to which the USA brought peace just last year. If Mr. O (as in Zero) wants to take credit for ending two wars, he should also accept responsibility for starting a new one.
But nooooo... "Nothing here to see, folks. Everything's fine now. Praise be to me." Pass the barf bag.
As an antidote and reality check, Walt is pleased to embed Ron Paul's address on "The State of Liberty 2015". Running time is just under 54 minutes. It must be admitted that Mr. Paul is not easy to listen to. He reads from his text at the speed of Clem McCarthy calling the Kentucky Derby. But if you want to know the real state of the Union, you'll listen to every word.
Please... if you think Ron Paul's voice needs to be heard, if you love liberty and the United States of America, sign the petition to ask Mr. Paul to stand for the presidency, once again. It's not too late!

What Obama DIDN'T say -- the REAL state of the union
Walt was very pleased by last night's major event, which he watched in its entirety on satellite TV. Carey Price definitely deserved the first star, with a fine performance in the Canadiens goal, and the team played much better than on Saturday.
Ohhhh... Apparently there was something else on TV last night -- a lengthy exercise in excuse-making by the Prez. Some are calling it a "State of the Union Address". Neil Macdonald, senior Washington correspondent for CBCNews, was obliged to watch the whole sick-making speech, and by way of commentary wrote an alternative speech -- the one that Obama would never give. Here's his introduction:
"With few exceptions (such as Gerald Ford's blunt 1975 assessment that "the state of the union is not good") the president's annual report to Congress is an exercise in reassuring Americans they are exceptional, blessed by God, leading the world, and headed for better things.
"Last night's was no different; at best, it amounted to an optimistic statement of intent by a president who has been thwarted constantly by other arms of government since assuming office. So, let's imagine what an outsider like, say, me, might submit if asked for a more succinct, less varnished assessment of the state of the American union."
The imaginary "real state of the union" speech penned by Mr. Macdonald is simply excellent, worth reading in its entirety. We are unable to publish it here for reasons of space [not to mention copyright! Ed.]. So click on this link and get the cold, hard truth about what the Obama maladministration has done to America.
