VIDEO: Cuba* is the enemy of the West. UN Ambassador Mike Waltz explains the Cuba Embargo

*We refer not to the people of Cuba, but to that wretched country's Communist government. Sadly, it is the ordinary people of Cuba, not the dictator and his cronies, who suffer during humanitarian crises like this week's Hurricane Melissa. 

Millions of dollars are being sent by the governments and people of the US of A, Canada and other Western nations to the government and NGOs of Jamaica, to help that country recover from the devastation caused by the disaster. But nothing is being sent to Cuba. 

Why? Because Cuba's Communist government has made itself our enemy. They want to overthrow the Western democracies and bring our prosperous societies down to the level of abject poverty experienced by their subjects.

The response of the West to the troubles caused by the Cuban government -- not just to their own island state but to countries as far afield as Ukraine -- can only be to keep the necessaries of life from reaching them. Some day, it is hoped, the hardships caused by the Cuba Embargo will cause the Cuban people to rise up and overthrow their cruel and corrupt government.

Earlier this week, Mike Waltz, the American Representative to the United Nations, explained the whys and wherefores of the Embargo to the UN General Assembly. In this video, you will here Mr Waltz's remarks in tull, as well as an interruption on a point of order by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, followed by the Ambassador's powerful conclusion.

Agent 10 knows from personal experience what it's like to live in what she calls "that hellhole". She warns that the Communists have friends in the USA and Canada, pretending to be anti-Communist expats. 

Beware of organizations with names like "Cuban-American Friendship Society"* asking for money to help the people of Cuba. Any money you give them goes straight to the Cuban government and military. Give only to people you know and trust.

Canadian readers should also want to think twice, or even three times, about going to Cuba for your winter holiday. The money you spend at Cuban resorts goes to the government, not to the people, not even the people who work in those places, who receive only starvation wages. By spending money in Cuba, you are actually helping our enemies. Don't do it!

* Footnote: Agent 3 sez that I forgot to mention the Fair Play for Cuba Committee. which was set up by the Castro government in 1960, and had branches all over the US of A and Canada. Lee Harvey Oswald was connected with them. Remember him? As far as we know, the FPCC no longer exists as such.

In denial about black crime in Toronto

Back in the hippy-dippy `60s -- beginning around 1964-5 with the passage of the Civil Rights Acts -- a wave of white guilt swept across America. Nearly 100 years after the end of the Civil War, black people were still discriminated against, disadvantaged and "marginalized" not just in the South but all over the US of A, and by golly the enlightened progressive thinkers of Washington, New York and Los Angeles were going to fix all that, with just a couple of strokes of LBJ's pen.

Where the US leads, Canada will surely follow. The problem for Canada's Liberal government was that, at that time, Canada didn't have very many citizens of the coloured persuasion on whom to lavish love and money in reparation for the sins of the horrible segregationists to the south. Solution? Import some black people, so Canadians could rejoice in being more tolerant, inclusive and (let's face it) smug. Wide were thrown the gates of immigration, with invitations extended to anyone and everyone from Guyana northward to Chicago and all points in between. Especially Jamaica.

What Canada imported on the No-longer-underground Railroad was black crime, and lots of it. Before long, Toronto newspapers had perpetrator descriptions including phrases like "spoke with a Jamaican accent" set in cold type. That phrase, and even the use of the words "Negro" [arch. Ed.] and "black" were dropped from crime stories, because (of course) they weren't politically correct. How in hell, the cops asked, do you expect us to catch any criminals if we can only say they're "male", of a a certain height and weight? But if you say they're black, the liberals moaned, you're demonizing a whole group of people, some of whom might actually be innocent! Describing people with reference to their colour is racist!

Half a century later, in Canada even more than in the USA, we have the same censorship, the same political correctness...in spades! [Watch it! Ed.] Today the Toronto meeja reported that the coppers had rounded up 16 of the usual suspects in connection to an armed robbery ring allegedly committed by gang members originating from the northwest corridor of Toronto. They identified the two gangs involved as The Complex Crip Gangsters and the Treyy Money Gang.

Nowhere in the story on the Global News website will you find the word "black". Nor will you see the names of the accused, names like "Javonte", "Shamir", "Lamar" and "Marvin". Nor will you find a picture of any of the accused in which his face is visible. To have your suspicions confirmed, you need to go to the official news release from the Toronto Police Service, where you will see these pictures.

Black people make up something like 10-15 percent of Toronto's population. (Whites are in the minority, by the way.) Yet they account for roughly 90% of the city's murderers and murderees, and the majority of criminals accused of crimes like holding up convenience stores. (The convenience store owners are almost always south and east Asians. The CBC actually has an alleged sitcom called Kim's Convenience!) Call me a racist if you like, but those are the facts in the "world class city" which is forever "celebrating diversity". If I lived in Toronto, I wouldn't be celebrating. I'd be moving!

In Toronto you can't describe a killer as a nagger

On Boxing Day, 2005, post-Christmas shoppers looked on in horror as 15-year-old Jane Creba was shot in broad daylight outside Toronto's Eaton Centre. She wasn't the intended victim, just an innocent bystander who got caught in the crossfire of a gunfight between two gangs. Those involved, a couple of whom were actually convicted years later, were, errr, gentlemen of the coloured persuasion. "Coloured", as in "black".

Walt had something to say about this just over two years ago in "Another example of racist over-policing". One of the points I was trying to make is that it's no longer politically correct to refer to the gangstas as "black" or "coloured" or the most offensive word in the English language. And you can't say "African-American" since they're almost invariably "Jamaican-Canadian". That's a fact. The police know it, anyone who's not wilfully blind knows it, and the media knows it. But...the media won't say it, because it's not PC.

Fast forward to the same locale -- the Eaton Centre -- yesterday around 6 p.m. Pandemonium erupted at the largest shopping mall in downtown Toronto after a shooter fired a hail of bullets into a food court packed with weekend shoppers. A 25-year-old man was killed. Seven other people were injured by the gunfire, and scores more crushed or trampled in the frenzied mass exodus that followed the shooting spree.

Toronto police, in a sudden and unusual display of acuity, think the was a targeted one, which caught innocent bystanders in the middle. The boys in blue [or black? Ed.] vowed to track the suspect down.

Do we have a description of the gunman? Indeed we do. A witness said the shooter was "a dark-skinned man wearing a hoody and baggy pants." That narrows it down to about 20,000 denizens of North America's most multicultural city, but hey, it's a start.

Toronto, unusually for a North American city, has no fewer than four more-or-less daily newspapers: the Toronto Sun, the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail and the National Post. (The latter two like to refer to themselves as "national" newspapers but are in fact written and edited -- sort of -- in Toronto.)

How many of those papers printed that description, or any reference whatsoever to the race of the perp? Just one. Three cheers for the Sun and a PC raspberry to the three who are too timid to call a spade a spade.

Another example of racist over-policing

This is...or was...Mitchel Leton Celise, a.k.a. "SK" or "Skeezy". Accompanied by two friends, he was walking down a street in the west end of Toronto on Monday, [minding his own business no doubt, ed.] when he was shot in the back by an unknown assailant who might be described as "a young black man who spoke with a Jamaican accent". Police are investigating.

Coincidentally, yesterday morning about a thousand Toronto cops, assisted by members of other forces and the Canadian Border Service Agency, raided scores of homes across southern Ontario rounding up the usual suspects, i.e. young black men who spoke with Jamaican accents.

This was part of Project Corral, targetting (successfully) black gangs which are terrorizing Toronto's west end. The Toronto police "guns and gangs" squad led the operation. Guns and gangs...and Jamaicans. At least in Toronto, the three words go together. If you doubt me, if you think I'm being racist for saying this, read Rosie DiManno's account in today's Toronto Star.

Everybody knows that the majority of murders in the so-called Greater Toronto area, especially the west end, are "black on black". Everybody knows many of those involved are from the sunny isle of Jamaica. And everybody knows many of them are in Canada illegally. But nobody talks about this "elephant in the room" because it's not politically correct.

It's not politically correct because everybody knows these poor sweet black boys are "disadvantaged" and it's all our fault because of centuries of white oppression, slavery, colonialism, discrimination, yadda yadda yadda. We honkies just love to wallow in our liberal guilt.

Even as I write, the "progressive" and "modern" Forces for Good in our society, especially in the media, are raising the cry that Operation Corral is yet another example of the "over-policing" of the disadvantaged "at-risk neighbourhoods". What do they think should be done? Just leave them alone to kill each other? [Hmmm... ed.]

Do that, and the streets won't be safe for anyone, as witness the tragic killing of Jane Creba, an innocent bystander who was caught in the crossfire while out doing some Boxing Day shopping on Toronto's main street. Who wants to live in that kind of city? One might as well move to Detroit!

So what is to be done? It has been suggested that Canada...or at least its big cities...could benefit from laws requiring police to stop and challenge peope as to their immigration status. Like the law recently passed in Arizona. But nooooooo. Tolerant Canadians wouldn't do that because, well, that's like Nazi Germany, eh. And it's so American to say, or even think that there's any connection between drugs, guns, crime and illegal aliens!

Walt suggests that perhaps Canadians...and New Yorkers...could learn something from the citizens of Arizona. At least measures to combat illegal immigration could be discussed without using the epithet of racism.

The cost of lax immigration laws

Meet Richard Haynes. He's the one with the Rasta hat...firing the gun. Mr. Haynes will be a guest of Her Majesty for nine years or so. It would have been longer but he missed his target.

At his sentencing in Toronto today Mr. Haynes did not complain that his "community" is "over-policed". Instead he issued an apology -- doubtless sincere and heart-felt -- to his intended victim and the community of which they are a part.

In case you didn't guess, Walt can reveal that the "community" in question is the Jamaican or Jamaican-Canadian diaspora. Mr. Haynes must have felt considerable remorse at living up (or down) to the stereotype. How could he bring shame on such an industrious and law-abiding group? Shocking!

Mr. Haynes will be deported after he does his time. Perhaps his sense of shame will keep him from returning to Canada on the next plane out of Kingston, but I wouldn't bet on it. And if he does try to return, will his record result in his being stopped at the border? I wouldn't bet on that either!

Here are some questions which might be asked of the Minister of Immigration and/or the Minister of Justice.

• When and how did Mr. Haynes get into Canada this time? Was he (a) a landed immigrant; (b) a visitor or (c) neither of the above, i.e. an illegal alien?
• If he entered on a visitor's visa, when did the visa expire? Before the shooting?
• What is the government doing to find and remove visitors who overstay their visas?
• How was Mr. Haynes supporting himself, before his arrest? Was he working?
• If he wasn't working, was he receiving welfare or other benefits?
• Who paid for the lawyers who represented Mr. Haynes and his co-accused?

Canadian taxpayers are going to foot the bill for Mr. Haynes's room and board for the next five years or so. My guess is the tab will run to $400,000 or so. Add in the amount that has already been spent dealing with him, and we're easily up to half a million. And Mr. Haynes is just one of many criminals living in Canada illegally.

If "Call Me Steve" and his finance minister really want to save some money to pare down the horrendous deficit they've run up, they should take a look at the cost benefits of tightening up Canada's porrous borders.

Canada's porous border - further follow-up

The Toronto Star reports today that a 14-year-old Jamaican who entered Canada illegally two years has now got Children's Aid fighting tooth and nail (at your expense, fellow citizens) to keep him from being deported.

A federal court judge hearing the case seemed unclear on exactly how the boy got into Canada, but it seems safe to assume he didn't swim. In fact he flew with WestJet...on a one-way ticket! Apparently no-one asked to see a visa when he got on the plane or when he landed at Toronto's Pearson airport. He just calmly walked into our country where he has survived on the largesse of the Canadian taxpayer ever since.

Judge Robert Mainville said "Clearly measures need to be taken to avoid similar situations in the future. There is [there should be! ed.] no question of encouraging in any fashion or manner whatsoever the act of sending and abandoning foreign children in Canada."

The Ministry of Public Safety wants the boy deported so he can be reunited with his family. Judge Mainville got involved when the Toronto Children's Aid Society stepped in, saying the boy's safety would be at risk if he were sent back to St. Lucia. [Sic. The Star first says the boy is Jamaican, but later says "sent back to St. Lucia".]

I would have thought that Citizenship and Immigration Canada would be handling the case, rather than the Ministry of Public Safety, but perhaps there is concern that the unfortunate lad might get involved with gangs and drugs if he stays here. Or maybe he is already.

Walt thinks it would be great if the kid could be sent to Jamaica, to join his older brother, who was deported not long ago after living illegally in Toronto for some time. Of course they have gangs and drug problems in Jamaica too [There's a news flash for you! ed.] but Walt thinks it best that the Jamaicans kill each other on the streets of Kingston rather than the streets of Toronto.

And Walt joins Judge Mainville in recommending that CIC and the Canada Border Services Agency sharpen up. Close the bloody door!

The gorillas in our midst

I was born in Toronto. (Long before the earth's crust cooled? ed.) I spent several years of my life there. But I've left, along with 1000s of others like me, because the Toronto of today more closely resembles Kingston... Kingston, Jamaica, that is, not Kingston, Ontario.

Toronto today is a collection of ghettos. There's Little Italy, Little Portugal, Greek Town, Old Chinatown -- the new Chinatowns being sensibly located in neighbouring cities. And there are other ghettos of Russians, Tamils, Somalis and just about every nationality on earth. Then there are the black ghettos.

I refer to York South-Weston, the area bounded by Lawrence Avenue, Caledonia Road, Dundas Street West and the Humber River. An article in Saturday's Globe and Mail describes it as "the new epicentre of gang activity". It is stuck between four other typically high-crime areas. There are the fabled Rexdale and Jane-Finch neighbourhoods to the northwest and north, the Lawrence Heights “jungle” to the northeast and Parkdale to the southeast.

What these areas have in common is that the majority of residents are black -- immigrants from Jamaica and other islands in the sun, and latterly "refugees" from the Horn of Africa. This is hardly news. It is a fact visible to anyone who drives along, say, Eglinton Avenue West, or who waits for a bus at the corner of Jane and Finch. (Get real! ed.) Anyone who watches the TV news reports of shootings in Toronto need only watch the video clips to know that the majority by far of victims of gang violence are black, as are the majority, again by far, of perpetrators.

Surprisingly though (I said, get real! ed.) this fact is not mentioned even once in the 2000-plus words of the Globe and Mail article. Nor is it mentioned in "Learning to cope in the city's new crime 'hot spot'", which appeared in Saturday's Toronto Star.

Why is this? Why will the media not acknowledge or even mention what everyone with his eyes even half-open knows?

How can one have any kind of meaningful analysis or discussion of what must be done to curb rising gang activity and gun violence without talking about one of the key issues which needs to be addressed?

It seems that political correctness prevents us from calling a spade a spade. Until the silent majority finds a voice, we can look forward to ever-increasing crime statistics and an ever higher cost to our (?) society.
