VIDEO: Japanese state TV anime explains America's "protests"

If you, like Walt, find it hard to understand why black Americans (and their white and other-coloured friends) are looting stores and burning down their own communities to express their grief and anger over the death of a convicted felon, this video explains everything. Unfortunately it's in Japanese. But one cartoon is worth 1000 words.

The anime was produced by Nippon Hōsō Kyōkai (NHK), the Japanese equivalent of the Canadian Broadcorping Castration, to explain the Black Lives Matter movement and the cause of the "protests" which have rocked dozens of American cities over the past two weeks.

The usual suspects rushed to condemn the public broadcaster's video as "offensive and misleading". Since I don't speak/understand Japanese, I can't comment except to say that it looks pretty much like what I saw on US TV.

Note from Ed.: There are subtitles! I am explaining to Walt how to turn them on.
