The Obamas as apes - We don't have the full video but we do have the story and a screen grab

A video posted by on Truth Social yesterday showing Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys has just been taken down following outraged cries of "racism!" from Democrats, Karens,

their controlled media, and others lacking a sense of humour. Would they have been so outraged if such a video had been produced by someone at the Biden White House, featuring DJT and Melania as, say, meerkats? Don't make me laugh!

The one-minute video calls attention to the fact that the 2020 election was stolen from President Trump. At the end of the video, a short clip shows the former American president and his first lady as monkeys, with the song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" playing in the background. Ed. wasn't quick enough to download the full video, but we do have this report, with a screen shot of the naughty bit, from OneIndia.

Are we to believe that until yesterday no-one ever suggested, or even thought that people of the darker persuasion resemble their ancestors more than paler people? Didn't anybody ever see Planet of the Apes?

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement sent to AP that the clip was taken from "an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from the Lion King [the 1994 Disney movie]. Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public."

FAKE poster for Monkey Premium Cereal

Yes, folks, it's a fake. The image of LeBron James is real enough, but there's no such product as Monkey Premium Cereal.

This poster is supposed to be a joke, but I can see where some might call it "racist". It was created by a student at New Hartford Central School in Utica NY as a parody of cereal advertisements, as an entry in a contest..

According to Breitbart News (whose editors deleted a tweet containing the image), some sensitive parents contacted Utica radio station WIBX in alarm. How, they asked, could the school could allow the art featuring the word "monkey" to be coupled with a photo of a famed black athlete to be entered into the art contest and to go on display at the school. 

It is a longstanding racist trope to equate blacks to monkeys, and the complaining parents were shocked -- shocked, I tell you -- that the school did not put a stop to the student’s use of LeBron James’ image in the “Monkey Cereal” artwork.

New Hartford Superintendent of Schools Dr Cosimo Cramer [Ed., please check before posting. I think his last name is Tangorra] said the school is investigating the incident and noted that the student, whose identity and other details [Like his/her race, maybe? Ed.] he did not divulge, was "contacted."

Dr Tangorra [is correct, Ed.] seemed untroubled by the incident, saying that officials are "using this as a teachable moment.... Despite our efforts," he added, "it is clear that more work needs to be done to challenge and raise awareness about stereotypes, prejudices, and discrimination."

Monkey impersonators in high demand in India

Is this a monkey or a man? It looks like a langur monkey, but if you're visiting India's capital, you might want to look again. That's because the Indian government has just fired 40 Indian men to impersonate langur monkeys to scare away some of the smaller, red-faced macaque monkeys that infest Delhi's parliament and other government buildings.

1000s of macaques monkeys roam the streets and alleys of Delhi, trashing gardens, attacking people for food, and disturbing the legions of humans who sleep in the streets. Unfortunately, Hindus consider the animals sacred -- incarnations of Hanuman, the monkey god -- so the devout often feed them and encourage them to stick around. What to do?

Delhi's civic authorities tried using real langurs to keep the macaques away from the parliament buildings. However, after protests from animal rights activists and a court order that keeping monkeys in captivity was cruel, they had to come up with a Plan B.

So, India's Minister for Urban Development told Parliament yesterday, the New Delhi Municipal Corporation has hired "40 young persons" trained to impersonate the langurs and scare the macaques away. Officials of the NDMC called the monkey impersonators "very talented", experts in imitating the whoops and barks of langurs and hiding behind trees to ward off the aggressive animals.

So far the impersonators are only working in and around the parliament buildings -- particularly the defence ministry and the prime minister's office -- but consideration is being given to deploying them on the city's metro trains, where they are a great nuisance, refusing to produce tickets and generally annoying the passengers both inside and on the roofs of the railway cars.

Lesson for Americans: Having the deer and the antelope roam through your country is nothing compared with troops of macaques!
