Pedophile "educator" gets what's coming to him, but his influence lingers

Walt was pleased to hear from Agent 3, a few minutes ago, that Dr. Benjamin Levin -- the Ontario "educator" who was convicted of three kiddy porn offences (out of seven with which he was originally charged) -- has been handed a sentence of three (3) years in the federal rock hockey arena.

Those who don't remember Dr. Levin did can catch up by reading "Lesbian premier of Ontario pretends not to notice as pervert who drafted new sex ed curriculum pleads guilty to kiddy porn charges" and "Pervert responsible for Ontario sex ed curriculum claimed he had sex with pre-teen daughters, court hears".

In that second headline is the reason why every Ontario parent should be concerned. Dr. Levin may be on his way to prison, but his philosophy on sex and morality -- "you can't get children into sex too soon!" -- pervades Ontario's new pro-queer sex education curriculum, which he had a hand in drafting while he was the province's deputy education minister.

Lest you think I'm being unfair in characterizing the good doctor's attitude to kids and sex as immoral and perverted, consider what he admitted to and was punished for: possession of child porn (6 months), making child porn (12 months) and counselling to commit sexual assault (18 months).

During his trial, the court heard that Dr. Levin used to frequent online forums for the discussion of sexual activities with children. In some online conversations, he claimed to have sexually abused each of his daughters. And, while chatting with women posing as being interested in sexual activities with children, he counselled them to get their children started at as early an age if possible. Yes, even if it hurt.

In sentencing the old pervert, Judge Heather McArthur said, "Mr. Levin [sic] ...had a hidden dark side. Unbeknownst to his friends, colleagues and family, he had become deeply immersed in a deviant and depraved online world." She ruled that, for five years, Levin can't go to public parks, pools, daycares and schools unless he's supervised by someone over 21 years of age who knows of his conviction. His use of internet will be limited and he cannot work with children under 16 again. He was ordered to provide a sample of his DNA for the sex offender registry and will be registered for life.

Dr. Levin was arrested in July 2013 when a search warrant was executed at his Toronto home. At the time of his arrest, he was a faculty member at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. He previously served as Manitoba's deputy minister of education. He went on to serve as deputy education minister in Ontario and was in that position when Ontario's proudly lesbian premier, Kathleen Wynne, was Minister of Education.

No matter how much Ms Lynne may dissemble, the fact is that Dr. Levin was instrumental in the drafting of Ontario's new sex education curriculum. His influence can be seen clearly in the inclusion of material which is inappropriate for elementary school children, having regard to their age -- teaching about genitalia as the age of six -- or their families' ideas of sexual morality -- teaching about oral and anal sex, for instance.

Toronto Sun columnist Joe Warmington has called for an enquiry into Dr. Levin's role in putting all the immoral, pro-queer material into the new curriculum being forced into Ontario schools in spite of growing protests by tens of thousands of concerned parents. Is Ms Wynne or Minister Lez Sandals likely to call such an enquiry? Walt doesn't think so. (Lifetime pct .936.) However... Agent 3 notes that the Liberal government's complete mismanagement of the education portfolio has led to strikes by teachers in three large school districts. Back-to-work legislation was passed yesterday, but the teachers are now going to "work to rule".

That means they won't be attending training sessions on the new curriculum. Agent 3 thinks that might well provide a fig leaf with which Mizzes Wynne and Sandals can cover a strategic "postponement" of the introduction of the curriculum, which, like Dr. Levin, deserves the soubriquet "deviant and depraved".

Pervert responsible for Ontario sex ed curriculum claimed he had sex with pre-teen daughters, court hears

WARNING FROM WALT: This detailed report of court proceedings, published in the National Post, contains coarse language and graphic descriptions of sex acts with children which can only be considered both illegal and immoral. I'm posting it, just as it appeared in the newspaper, to make you aware of the kind of person who thinks that "progressive" and "modern" ideas about sex should be taught in state schools, beginning in Grade 1.

If you're seeing this for the first time, Dr. Benjamin Levin was a Deputy Minister of Education in the Ontario government of Dalton McGuinty (aka "Premier Dad), while Kathleen Wynne (a lesbian and proud of it) was the Minister. Dr. Levin was hugely influential in the development of a new and "up-to-date" sex education curriculum, which was rolled out back in 2010, then withdrawn in the face of a storm of public protest.

After Ms Wynne became Premier and (surprisingly) won re-election, she introduced the new "improved" curriculum again. This time, she says, there's no going back. Ontario grade school kids are going to learn about anal sex, oral sex, the beauty of same-sex relationships, the benefits of having two daddies or two mommies -- the whole disgusting ball of wax -- whether their parents like it or not.

Just after Ms Wynne announced that the new curriculum would be taught beginning in September, Dr. Levin quietly pled guilty to three of seven charges in the nature of child pornography and child abuse, viz: making of written child pornography, possession of child pornography and counselling to commit sexual assault on a child.

Dr. Levin's sentencing hearing began in Toronto this week. At the same time, 1000s of angry parents gathered at "the Pink Palace" -- the legislature building just up the street from the courthouse -- to protest the new curriculum. Benjamin Levin was consistent and “realistic” in his descriptions of sexual assault of children during online chats and never once stressed that it was all for fantasy, the Crown argued during day two of his sentencing hearing on child porn charges.

Crown counsel Allison Dellandrea read aloud several extremely graphic chat exchanges the former Ontario deputy minister of education had with undercover officers he believed were submissive mothers interested in having sex with their own children.

The 63-year-old married father of three repeatedly and consistently claimed to have had sex with his own daughters, starting at age 12 (though, as he told one of the officers, “I wish we’d started younger.”).

Levin — who was a member of Ontario premier Kathleen Wynne’s transition team — has pleaded guilty to the making of written child pornography, possession of child pornography and counseling to commit sexual assault on a child. He has not been charged with actually carrying out a sexual assault on a child.

But the Crown worked hard to convince Justice Heather McArthur that through his persona as a “master, or even a mentor” on adult “alternative sexual lifestyle” incest chat rooms, he had significant influence in counseling to commit.

Dellandrea asked the judge to consider a prison sentence of 3 1/2 years — one for the making child pornography charge, six months for possession and two for the more serious counsel to commit. Defence is asking for just two years in prison.

Dellandrea took the court on a tour of the “depraved” online world the formerly well-respected education expert inhabited, suggesting he “wasn’t just dabbling in the child sexual abuse online world, he was a leader” there.

“He essentially boasted about having achieved sexual contact with all three of his children and successfully gotten away with it as had his wife,” Dellandrea said. “That’s an extraordinary feature of the counsel to commit.”

Levin’s wife, Barbara, whom he referenced often in his online exchanges — and even claimed his online profile that she was just involved in the child sex play — knew nothing about her husband’s activities online.

It’s rare in child porn cases to see such frequent descriptions of sado-masochistic sexual acts carried out on children, Dellandrea said. And yet they were all over Levin’s chats with undercover officers.

“‘I pushed two fingers in her mouth” one undercover officer told him of her fictional daughter. “Make her gag on them…I want to make her suck cock,” Levin wrote back. When the undercover officer wrote that she stopped when her daughter began to gag, Levin wrote “Why are you stopping?”

He also suggested the officer kiss her daughter “between blows.” This child was described as being 10 years old.

Court also learned that Levin engaged with at least one more fake persona created by Toronto Police child exploitation unit officer Detective Constable Janelle Blackadar. Her exchanges with Levin led to the counsel to commit charge.

He raised many examples with Blackadar of his experience sexually assaulting his own daughters.

“We had many wonderful years,” he said when he told her their sexual activities together faded out. “Wish we had started earlier.”

There was also discussion of “sharing” children for sexual abuse purposes. Levin even expressed interest in possibly one day sexually abusing his future grandchildren.

As the sentencing got underway Tuesday, so too did a protest against Ontario’s revised sex-ed curriculum at Queen’s Park downtown. Critics of the Liberal government’s update to what students will learn in school about sex believe Levin’s paedophilic interest influenced the update — a charge the government denies.

The Crown says Dr. Levin was "a leader" in a depraved Internet community. Walt adds that he was also a leader in Kathleen Wynne's Ministry of Education. Why would any parent trust people like him to teach their children about sex and morality?

The story so far... Back in 2010, Kathleen Wynne, a proud member of the LGBT "community" who was then Ontario's Minister of Education, introduced a new sex education curriculum which would have preached the pro-queer message -- homosexuality is OK, "gay marriage" is OK, alternative lifestyles are OK, etc -- to children as young as six. The reaction of parents, teachers and religious leaders was so negative that then-Premier Dalton McGuinty pulled the pink rug out from under Ms Wynne, and the new curriculum was sent back to the eggheads in the Ministry of Education for a rethink.

Typical of the pushback against the gay mafia's attempts to force their "morality" on innocent children was the famous "Don't confuse me; I'm a girl!" ad, sponsored by the Institute for Canadian Values. The lamestream media and the usual gang of secular humanists and celebrants of diversity called the idea that girls should be left alone to be girls, and boys to be boys, old-fashioned, homophobic, etc etc and so forth. But give it time, they said. We'll give it a few minor tweaks and bring it forward again, after a decent interval.

Time passes. "Premier Dad" resigns and hands the reins of power over to... wait for it... Kathleen Wynne. The new curriculum remains in the closet [keen choice o' words! Ed.] until Ms Wynne somehow wins an election, and then, lo and behold, is trotted out again last November. Were any significant changes made? Errr, no.

It didn't take long for Ontarians to see past the new cover and copyright date. Isn't this the same stuff, they asked, that they tried to foist on us a couple of years ago? Who wrote this stuff, anyhow? Aha! The penny drops! That question was asked and answered more than a year earlier, when Dr. Benjamin Levin, former Deputy Minister of Education, was arrested on charges of making and possessing child pornography. Oh... that guy... was the reaction of Ms Wynne and the new Education Minister, Lez Sandals. He didn't have anything to do with it. He was Deputy Minister years and years ago, and anyway, those charges haven't been proven in court, so don't give it another thought. We'll be bringing out the new curriculum in the spring and it's better. Nothing in there to worry about. You'll see.

Whoops! The words were still echoing in the marble halls of the Pink Palace when Professor Levin's lawyer announced he'd made a deal with the Crown for his client to plead guilty to some of the charges. Soon. Like the beginning of March. Double whoops!! Roll the damn thing out double-quick, Ms Sandals! And so it was done.

That brings us to today, when, as promised, Dr. Levin pled guilty in a Toronto court to three charges: making written child pornography, counselling a person to commit a sexual assault, and possession of child pornography. The agreed statement of facts, read into the record by the Crown, was so shocking that one Toronto TV station warned its listeners not to listen [hahahahahaha... Ed.]

The man who had a large hand in drafting the new sex ed curriculum liked to hang out in Internet chat rooms. Among the people he chatted with were undercover cops in Toronto, London (Ontario) and New Zealand -- all posing as women interested in sexual activities with children.

In a conversation beginning in August 2012, the Toronto officer said she had two daughters aged 8 and 14. According to the Crown, Levin "normalized and encouraged the sexual touching of the girls by their mother."

In June 2013, the same officer logged into an "incest" chatroom claiming to be a mother attracted to her 8-year-old daughter. The court was told Levin instructed her on how to "groom the child to get her 'used to sex'", to expose her daughter to pornography, to be nude, and to masturbate in front of the child.

Hmmm... "Get her used to sex," eh. Isn't that what the new sex ed curriculum aims to do by starting to teach kids about sex as early as Grade 3, and the reproductive anatomy even earlier? Grade 3... That would be age 8. Where have we heard that number before?

Back to the chatroom... The undercover cop "advised Mr. Levin that she had followed his instructions...that she had sexually assaulted her child," the court heard. "Levin instructed (her) to 'play' with this child. [He] stated that it was fine if the child cried and the child should understand that more would be done to her. The theme of these discussions was sexualization of the officer's child."

Sexualization of a child. Isn't that... (See above.)

The court heard also that Levin didn't think the undercover officer's profile was real, but didn't suggest or ask if she or her daughter were real people. "Nor was it explicitly suggested that their exchanges were intended to be pure fantasy. He knowingly counselled [the officer] to sexually assault her daughter."

Remember, what you're reading are not allegations. These are details from the statement of facts agreed to by Professor Levin's counsel.

In his chats with the London policewoman, in December 2012, Levin expressed further fantasies. According to Crown counsel, "He said he hoped his daughters would 'share' their own children -- his grandchildren -- with him and his wife."

With the undercover officer in New Zealand, Levin's discussions included sending images of females under the age of 18. One depicted a girl in a bondage scene with an adult woman standing over her. Levin's comment on the picture? "Mmm? So hot to imagine a mother doing that to her girl to please her lover."

Other images sent to the officer by Levin included the picture of a crying girl on which he commented "That girl might be crying because she was used somewhat roughly by her mother's lover." In June 2013, at the New Zealand officer's request, Levin created an online story "detailing the violent sexual assault of a 10 year old child."

Why am I posting all this? Because, remember, Benjamin Levin, the man guilty by his own admission of advocating the "sexualization" of children, is the same Benjamin Levin who held the post of Deputy Minister of Education in Ontario, and, again by his own admission, played a major role in developing Ontario's new sex education curriculum.

In 2009 Dr. Levin presented the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) with a bio in which he boasted, "I was the Deputy Minister of education. In that role, I was the chief civil servant. I was responsible for the operation of the Ministry of Education and everything that they do; I was brought in to implement the new education policy." Source: the OISE newsletter.

If Dr. Levin's sexual appetites were so depraved that he could counsel a mother to assault her own child, Ontario parents are well within their rights to be suspicious of the motives for the curriculum's introduction of detailed information about sex to children. Surely it's not old-fashioned or homophobic to see it as a subtle "grooming" of innocent children in preparation for corruption and abuse!
