VIDEO: Meanwhile, at Love Field, this happened

Earlier today, as I was writing about the shameful abuses of civil rights allegedly committed by racist, white supremacist Taco Bellers in Dallas (see below), the mojo wire started spitting out reports of shots being fired at Love Field, one of the airports serving Dallas.

We waited patiently, and can now repost edited surveillance and body camera video, released by the Dallas Police Department. The woman seen firing into the air before being taken down by a shots of  a woman who fired a gun at Dallas Love Field Airport Monday and was taken down by a cop -- the Dallas police haven't been defunded yet -- has been identified as Portia Odufuwa, 37, pictured at left.

Ms Odufuwa has been charged with aggravated assault against a public servant, and, according to Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia, may face other federal charges. Here's the video. If you have trouble seeing clearly, you'll find the police recap below.

Airport surveillance video -- there is no sound -- shows Ms Odufuwa exiting a red Kia Sedan outside the airport Monday. She then walks into a restroom, and emerges five minutes later clad in a black hoodie with the hood pulled up over her head and her hands in her front pockets.

According to Chief Garcia, Ms Odufuwa walked to the Southwest Airlines ticketing area, stating she had an announcement to make. Surveillance video shows Officer Ronald Cronin, a 15-year veteran of the Dallas PD starting to walk towards her.

"Witnesses say Odufuwa started to ramble, talking about a marriage, incarceration and that she was going to blow up the airport," said Chief Garcia "and then pulls a handgun from her sweatshirt." In the video you can see her pointing the gun toward the ceiling. She fires multiple rounds, and you can see Officer Cronin reacting and trying to engage with her, as people in the airport scramble for cover.

According to Chief Garcia, Officer Cronin commanded the suspect to drop the weapon. "Odufuwa pointed her gun at Officer Cronin and an innocent bystander. Officer Cronin took cover behind the ticket kiosk and fired his department-issued weapon, striking the suspect multiple times. Officer Cronin held his position, and other Dallas Police Department officers arrived to take the suspect into custody."

The video shows Officer Cronin pointing his gun at the woman, who falls to the ground. Several police officers enter the terminal to assist. Ms Odufuwa was taken to an area hospital where she underwent surgery for her injuries, and is now said to be in stable condition.

The weapon used by Ms Odufuwa was not registered. Chief Garcia noted that she has been prohibited from possessing a firearm since August of 2018. NBC News reported that she had some sort of obsession with singer-songwriter Chris Brown, to whom she claims to be married.

Walt is waiting for the authorities to tell us how Ms Odufuwa, whose name suggests she is Nigerian, got into the USA, and what her immigration status is. Was that issue not raised during the 2018 court proceedings, at which she was found unfit to stand trial?

What has Ms Odufuwa been doing since 2018? Who's supporting her? If it turns out that she's an illegal immigrant (lifetime pct .972), will she be deported? Is the pope a bear? Do Catholics shit in the woods? Just askin'....

Illegal immigrants racked up millions of $$$ in ID theft fraud

It's not just California (see my earlier post today) or the USA that has problems with crimes committed by illegal immigrants who get caught and deported, only to return and commit more crimes, again and again and again. Canuckistan has its problems too. All that changes, north of the world's longest absolutely undefended border is the nature of the crimes and the ethnicity of the criminals. For some reason, the farther north the "bad dudes" go, the darker they get.

I'm going to give you this story as it was published this morning on the government-owned CBC News website: "It was good while it lasted: the luxurious life of an alleged Toronto fraud crew". It's worth following the link just to see the veritable cornucopia of bad taste the fraudsters purchased with their ill-gotten gains. Although the CBC carefully refrains from mentioning the perps' ethnicity, you can pretty much tell from what they bought and what they wore what kind of people they were. (Hint: it's the same kind of stuff P.K. Subban sports. The story's subtitle: "Crocodile skin boots and a $146,000 moon dust watch among items seized from Yorkville apartment".) I'll save the stinger for the end of this post.

Crocodile skin boots, Italian suits and a watch made from actual moon dust are just some of the items Toronto Police have seized from a suspected fraud crew, but there's much, much more. These are just some the alleged proceeds of crime that police displayed on Tuesday as a result of an investigation dubbed Project Royal, which began in 2016:

90 pairs of shoes including a $10,000 pair of crocodile skin boots
Seven watches including a Romaine Jerome Moon Dust Automatic valued at $146,000
Designer clothing, jewellery, accessories and liquor valued at $390,000
Several pairs of sunglasses valued at $10,000
"It's the absurdity of the consumption that stands out," Detective Constable Mike Kelly said at media conference on Tuesday. "We had $2,000 just in skin moisturizer. It was unsual."

Comment from Walt: Bill Burr does a bit about how black people use "lotion" to keep from looking "ashey".

There was also $39,000 cash, 37 credit cards and hundreds of pieces of allegedly stolen mail among the items seized at a Yorkville condominium unit police say was also fraudulently paid for. Two Toronto men, aged 45 and 37, have been arrested and charged with several fraud related crimes and possession of the proceeds of crime. Police have also issued warrant for a third suspect, a 44 year-old, of Toronto. And a 47-year-old Toronto man who police say is also connected to the group is wanted in the United States.

Police allege the group stole pieces of mail, including bank statements, and that they were were in possession of the personal information of approximately 5,000 GTA residents. "You're talking about literally thousands of individuals all throughout the GTA whose information has been at least compromised," Kelly said.

Investigators say the group used that information to obtain credit cards, which they then used to fund their luxury lifestyles. The Yorkville condo was paid for with credit card cash advances, police say. The accused did most of their shopping in the Yorkville area, Kelly says, and in some cases, merchants may have known fraud was taking place or at least "looked the other way" when luxury goods were purchased on credit. Police say when questioned, the men would describe themselves as businessmen or tourists. One of the suspects, who resided in the upscale Yorkville condo, said he worked for a moving company.

Police don't believe any of the items were being sold. The only motivation behind the alleged fraud was "conspicuous consumption", Kelly said. All of the accused maintained social media profiles in which much of their glitzy lifestyle is documented.

And now... drum roll, please... rrrrrrrrrrrrrr... Walt reveals the names of the accused, as UNreported by the politically correct CBC. Adedayo Ogundana, Duro Akintola, and Adekunle Johnson Omitiran (pictured -- but not on CBC) don't sound like Irishmen to me. They are Africans, probably Nigerians or Ghanaians. Innocent questions: What is their immigration status in Canada... if any? And what is the Trudeau government's stance on the deportation of "undocumented migrants" who commit crimes?

The header of the Toronto CBC News website shows three of CBC Toronto's top "news" presenters. Not one of them is a white male. Who is responsible for CBC Toronto's anti-white bias? Step forward Susan Marjetti, former CBC Toronto station manager and winner of every conceivable award for promoting "diversity". Time to retire, now, Susan. Your work in Toronto is done.

No rivers of blood in streets of London... yet

Back in 1960, then-British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan made a speech to the Parliament of South Africa, which was quickly dubbed "the Wind of Change Speech". The theme was that independence was going to come to the British colonies in Africa and the rest of the world sooner rather than later. It was idle to stand up against the wind which was blowing, he told the recalcitrant (white) South Africans, so we might as well embrace the changes to our society which would surely follow.

As part of his government's "adjustment" to the new world of equality and diversity, the doors of Great Britain were opened wide to immigrants of any colour from any British colony. If you held a British passport -- to which people born in the colonies were entitled, at that time -- you were welcome to come and live in the mother country. And to no-one's surprise (except possibly Mr. Macmillan's), that's exactly what they did.

One of those who was not surprised was Enoch Powell, like Mr. Macmillan a Conservative Member of Parliament. After watching boatloads and planeloads of immigrants arrive from places like Jamaica, Pakistan and Nigeria, Mr. Powell made a dire prediction in what came to be called "the Rivers of Blood Speech". The gist of it was, as the name suggests, that unrestricted immigration from countries and cultures so foreign to that of Britain could only lead to social unrest and worse.

Mr. Powell said that Britain would rue the day when it opened the doors to 1000s of third-world immigrants who would not or could not be assimilated into British society. His speech included the line, "As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding; like the Roman, I seem to see 'the River Tiber foaming with much blood.'" He did not actually use the phrase "rivers of blood", but the prediction was well enough understood.

This week Britons saw that, even taken literally, Mr. Powell was not far wrong.

The blood of a British soldier is not exactly "much", but there's certainly enough of it -- on the pavement, and on the hands, knife and meat cleaver wielded by his killers.

The two terrorists shot by police at the scene (in Woolwich, a part of London) were identified as "born in Britain, of Nigerian heritage". Like the Boston Marathon bombers, the murderers' families came to a new country, far from their impoverished homeland, and took advantage of the education and opportunities they were generously given by a guilt-ridden white Christian society.

Their response? To convert to "the religion of peace" (the PC term for Islam) and bite the hand that fed them. No, not "bite". More like "cut off", and worse. And yet politicians and "progressive thinkers" express surprise that such a thing could happen in a country which not only accepts but encourages multiculturalism and diversity. What they can't say is that they weren't warned!

Incredible! Kemi to be deported from Canada!

Cazart! Amazing news reported in today's Toronto Sun! The Canadian immigration shit-hammer (rumoured to be non-existent) has finally struck Walt's old friend and well-known "voice of [black] victims" (= media whore), Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo.

Walt told you the truth about Kemi on 28 November 2010, and expressed wonderment that she hadn't been deported to either the USA, where warrants for her arrest were outstanding in Georgia, or her native Nigeria. Well, yesterday afternoon the Canadian Border Services Agency descended on her Toronto apartment [in a "social housing" project? Ed.] and carted her off to a nearby detention centre, pending deportation to Nigeria on Monday.

According to Chris Doucette's mushy paean in the Sun, Kemi is actually the daughter of a high-ranking Nigerian politician -- a chief or a prince, perhaps -- who moved to Toronto in 2007. Doucette didn't have enough space to say that in between Nigeria and Canada, she spent several years in the USA, where she apparently ran into a little trouble with the racist state of Georgia.

It took less than a year for the lovely Kemi to reinvent herself, taking on the new role -- and that is definitely the right word -- as an advocate for victims' rights, justice for the black "community", crusader against racism, yada yada yada.

"I’m just a citizen [sic] who wanted to make our community safer," she once told the Sun of her efforts "to ensure slain loved ones are not forgotten and that killers don’t roam freely on the city’s streets." Unfortunately for her, Kemi is not a citizen of Canada, or (it seems) the USA. She's not even a legal resident of either country, just another bogus refugee, or "undocumented person" as the PC saying goes. And on Monday, unless the Canadian immigration department wimps out, she'll be gone.

Not before time, says Walt! And just think. If she'd kept her big mouth shut, and if Chris Doucette hadn't called her for an "anti-racist" hug-a-thug comment on every black-on-black shooting, she could still be in Canada. Don't be surprised, though, if she shows up again, when things cool down, under a different guise. Lifetime pct .989.

Are Nigerian scammers really that stupid?

Today Walt got an urgent e-mail from one "Kingsley Moghalu", whose e-mail address seems to belong to an Ellen Raez, but never mind. According to the "re" line, Kingsley wants me to "RESPOND VERY URGENTLY TO DEPUTY GOVERNOR CBN / OPEN THE ATTACHED AND READ‏". Walt didn't open the attachment, and neither should you, gentle reader. You know that, right?

Sometimes, though, you don't have to open an attachment. Right there in your in-box is a letter from a distraught widow, or a suffering orphan, or a conniving employee of a reputable international bank. (CBN = Central Bank of Nigeria, by the way. Yesterday I got one from the "Shanghai Bank Corporation", which must be the same as the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corp., of which I've heard.)

The letter -- one of many variations of "the Spanish prisoner letter", which is even older than Walt -- tells you the suffering orphan (or whoever) needs your help to access a fabulous sum of money which was (for instance) left to her by her late father (a trusted confidant of Moammar Gadhafi, or whoever) but which for some reason she needs to park in your bank account for awhile. For helping her, you will get a percentage of the fabulous sum.

Sounds too good to be true, right? And so it is. But you would be tipped off, wouldn't you, by the poor English, the dubious phone numbers (e.g. a cell phone for the office of the Bank of Scotland), and the obviously African names. How could anyone fall for this old con game? And why would the scammers be so stupid as to send out such obviously bogus e-mails? (They still come by snail-mail too, by the way.)

These questions have been puzzling Cormac Herley, one of Bill Gates's minions. In his paper "Why do Nigerian scammers say they are from Nigeria?", he argues that the scammers make their appeals so blatantly ludicrous to weed out smart people -- like Walt's readers -- who will not be so easily taken in. Anyone foolish enough to take these ludicrous letters at face value is thus the most promising mark for their scam. If they're stupid enough to believe this letter, they'll believe anything!

Another motive could be Nigeria's dreadful reputation for corruption. When a high official of the Central Bank of Nigeria tells you he's sitting on $30 million which was paid as a bribe to facilitate an illegal transaction, it seems quite plausible and you -- if you're greedy as well as stupid -- want to get the cut that is offered to you.

So... you and I know about the "419" and related scams, and won't be taken in. But 1000s of others aren't as smart as we are. Millions, perhaps billions of dollars are lost every year to these Nigerian (and non-Nigerian) fraudsters. Other than send the junk to your spam-box, is there something you can do? Eve Edelson says YES.

In Scamorama, a book based on her website of the same name, Ms Edelson suggests a little bit of public-spirited scam-baiting. That means playing the fraudsters' game, wasting their time and resources by pretending to be a potential victim. On the website and in the book, you'll find instructions on how to play along, and examples of hilarious correspondence between the would-be scammers and members of Eve's internet posse. It's a great site, worth having a look at even if you don't want to play.

Exploiting Haiti

The earthquake disaaster that has afflicted Haiti has called forth a huge outpouring of goodwill from the people of other countries, particularly the USA and Canada. Concerts have been held, disaster funds collected and relief efforts organized. Thus we see human nature at its best.

We also see human nature at its worst. Apart from looting and numerous examples of sauve qui peut, stories are beginning to emerge of unscrupulous individuals exploiting the goodwill for their own selfish gain. We've heard already of bogus charities and people kidnapping supposedly orphaned children for adoption (read sale) to well-intentioned North American families. But here's a new one.

A man wandering around the ruins of Port-au-Prince spied a credit card issued by a Canadian bank. (Whether the card was clutched in the hand of a corpse is not known.) Thinking quickly, he presented himself at the Canadian embassy. Using the credit card as his ID, he got himself refugeed home to Canada right away quick.

On his arrival in Canada, the Red Cross showered him with clothes and cash to replace those he'd obviously lost in the quake. Not satisfied with what he received, the man went on a shopping spree. Or he would have, had a store clerk not been suspicious that the man couldn't speak French, as most Haitians do.

You guessed it. The man turned out to be Nigerian. He is now being held in a detention centre in Montréal. But wait, there's more.

The Nigerian has now claimed refugee status. This being Canada, he will be allowed to remain here until he has had a hearing plus appeals if he's not happy, all the while being fed, clothed, housed and so on at taxpayers' expense.

I don't think I need to comment further, but will pass on the explanation given by the Canadian Red Cross. They said that their mandate is to help people, not to be concerned with immigration status. Besides, even if the man isn't Haitian, he's still a victim!
