Did you notice that I've changed the blurb in the "About Me" panel of WWW? Probably not. Nobody reads the stuff at the right-hand side of the screen. Anyway, what I put there is a quote from "Surviving the CLICHE-19 pandemic", by the estimable Terence Corcoran, one of the better typists at the Financial Post.
His column today is an excellent piece of satire, comprised of choice examples of the never-ending stream of mush that flows out of the mouths of our "leaders" in this time of a global crisis worse than any in the historyof mankind... Oops, now I'm doing it. I recommend that you read Mr Corcoran's piece for yourself, if only to get to the conclusion, which is:
There comes a point when the vast majority of people cannot take it anymore, and they emerge from their self-isolation and shout: "We are all in this together, and we want out!"
