Sikhs wanted in Brampton, Ontario

The following message is presented as a public service.


Surrey BC and Brampton ON have the largest proportion of Sikhs of any cities in Canada. The Peel Region Police Department, whose jurisdiction includes Brampton, would like your help in locating the four Sikhs pictured above, wanted on charges of aggravated assault. Police have not disclosed what weapons were used in the assault, but may have been cricket bats.

They are: 22-year-old Aftaab Singh Gill, of no fixed address; 22-year-old Harmandeep Singh, of Brampton; 25-year-old Jatinder Singh, of Brampton; and 30-year-old Satnam Singh, of Brampton. Some or all of them may be in Canada on student visas, pursing their studies at the Singh School of Truck Driving.
