PVV leader Geert Wilders: We have to reclaim our streets!

Geert Wilders is the leader of the Partij Voor de Vrijheid (PVV) (Party for Freedom) and Vice-President of the Parliament of the Netherlands. He contributed this article to Breitbart NewsThe emphasis in the final paragraph is Walt's.

Following a football match, rioters in Paris went on a rampage in the French capital, looting shops setting cars on fire, attacking, even firing at police officers.

Videos and television footage showed that many rioters had an immigrant background. It is a scene Europeans have become all too familiar with – not just in France, but all over the continent.

In the past decades, Europe’s ruling elites have allowed millions of immigrants from Africa and the Islamic world to settle in our midst. Some of them hate their host country to the extent that they want to destroy it. They loot and vandalize, assault and rape, and even murder.

Leading politicians – such as Emmanuel Macron in France, Rob Jetten in my own Netherlands, Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels, and many others in their ivory towers – think that people do not notice what is going on. But they do notice, and they are deeply worried. They want the chaos to stop. They also realize the root cause of our societal break-down: Mass immigration by people who contribute absolutely nothing to our societies and reject our cultural values.

While our cities begin to resemble war zones, our governments continue their march of folly. In my country, the authorities want to force literally every municipality in the Netherlands to house a quota of asylum seekers. These fortune seekers, many of whom are young men, are being lodged in hotels, holiday resorts, former schools, former army barracks, even on cruise ships.

I have called on the Dutch people to resist – firmly, but always in a non-violent manner – the establishment of centres for asylum seekers in their neighbourhoods. I have recently begun a nation-wider resistance tour, visiting local communities where the authorities are planning new asylum centres.

The response has been overwhelming. The mainstream media do not report on the protests because the demonstrators are peaceful and law-abiding. It is not our people who go rampaging in the streets, ravaging their neighbourhoods! We are not conquerors like the thugs in the streets of Paris; we defend our homes. We do not destroy our communities; we love them.

We do not loot our neighbours; we protect them. We do not harass and attack our women; we stand up for them. It all boils down to the culture of love that drives the patriots defending Europe, versus the culture of hatred that drives those eager to to destroy it.

Societies cannot exist without a shared set of moral values. Since the 1970s, governments, aided by supranational organizations such as the EU and various UN bodies, have begun to impose a doctrine of relativism and multi-culturalism, opening Europe’s doors to literally millions of foreigners who have little in common with us. As a result, Europe has slowly transformed into Eurabia.

No one can deny that the neighbourhoods with the largest concentrations of Islamic newcomers are the most prone to violence. Mass immigration by people from cultures that have not been shaped by the basic forces of European civilization has eaten away at law and order, the foundation of our free societies.

Mass immigration has also created a new electorate for political parties. The “mainstream” parties actively search for the Islamic vote. This phenomenon has become increasingly important because the Islamic population has continuously grown, thereby becoming a power broker in elections.

Political parties compete with each other by giving in to Islamic demands, such as an anti-Israeli foreign policy, the prosecution of so-called "Islamophobic" individuals, and the abandonment of entire neighbourhoods to Islamic gangs, which the police are instructed not to "provoke."

It is urgent that patriotic politicians organize a national wave of peaceful resistance. We demand an immediate asylum stop, encouragement of remigration, and compulsory remigration of criminal migrants. Europe is still ours. If we want to keep it that way, we have to rise up en masse. Non-violently but firmly and with determination, we have to reclaim our streets. If we do, we can still win. The time to act is now.

All ye need to know about today's anti-society

You all know about the three wise monkeys, eh. See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil. Walt has referred to them [NOT "referenced them"! Ed.] six times, including today's post.

May I recommend, in particular, "How can we be silent in the face of Islamization of our country?" WWW 15/4/12.  Right... over 13 years ago. As I look back over the warnings that I and countless others have written over the first quarter of the 21st century, I do wonder: Is anyone reading? Is anyone listening? Is anyone talking about the threats to our society?

I really do think, sometimes, that the answer is NO! And I ask myself why. Could it be because we don't have a society, any more? What we have, IMHO, is an anti-society which can be summed up by the fourth monkey: He sees nobody, hears nobody, and speaks to nobody. No wonder our polity is in the disgusting, fetid, toxic mess that it is.

Orwell saw this coming

In his all-too-prescient novel 1984, published on 8 June 1949, British author George Orwell predicted a world in which an all-powerful nanny state would watch everyone through surveillance devices called "video screens", watching out for anti-social (and anti-government!) behaviour.

For years now, there have been CCTV cameras outside George Orwell's  home in London. Now a sign has been added warning all and sundry to be of good behaviour... or else!

Only in No-longer-great Britain, you say? If you live in the USA or Canada... or China... look around you. All that's missing is the sign.

And speaking of English thinkers and writers who had disturbing visions of the future of their sceptered septic isle, check out "'I told you this would happen!': Enoch Powell", WWW 10/8/11.

Ypsilanti police set to flush out phantom pooper

Ypsilanti MI police are flushed with success, you might say, having closed in on the phantom pooper. That's right. For the last month six months, in spite of the winter weather, someone has been soiling slides at Ypsilanti's Prospect Park, much to the consternation of slider wannabes and their parents.

In January, Ypsi Police Chief Tony Wiggum [Ed., please check.] sent an e-mail to his minions to say "We have a problem in Prospect Park with a miscreant that does not understand the difference between a children’s playground slide and a toilet. Apparently this extremely misguided individual feels the need to defecate on the slide despite the cold weather."

Apparently catching the phantom pooper wasn't a high priority, though, until this month. According to the Detroit Free Press, city officials decided the dirty deeds had to be stopped immediately! "This winter, it wasn't necessarily a problem," said city council member Pete Murdock. "But now that the weather is getting warmer, we need to get a handle on it."

A handle? Hmmm. Difficult image to get into one's mind, but Adams Outdoor Advertising decided to help out by creating a series of billboards urging Ypsilantians or Ypsis or Gypsis or whatever the locals call themselves to do their "civic doody" and "report the pooper"!

Another sign read, "Help us flush the pooper!" Each billboards featured a Superman-like figure in a brown "anti-poop" shirt. The hashtag #YPSIPOOPER is prominently displayed, prompting many locals to crack wise.

However, Todd McWilliams, general manager of the advertising company, said his company was shit serious -- inspired to design and erect the billboards after an employee from Ypsilanti brought a news report about the phantom pooper to the office.

And it looks as though the billboards may have done some good. Last Friday the Ypsi police issued a press release stating, "We are investigating a person of interest possibly involved in these incidents. We will be not be providing any further information, as the case is still open and active."

Meanwhile, unfortunately for fans of the #YPSIPOOPER billboards, the City of Ypsilanti has requested that they be removed, after just three days of, errr, exposure.

However, Ypsilanti police are still requesting the public's help. Their press release concludes, "Any information relative to the case can be directly forwarded to us here at the police department." So if you live in Ypsilanti and you want to pass something, give them a call. Never let it be said that Walt's readers don't know shit!
