Canadiens vs Vegas Playoff Schedule

Dear readers, please excuse me, in advance, for any lapses in posting to WWW over the next couple of weeks. The National Hockey League semi-final playoffs have begun, with the Tampa Bay Lightning facing the New York Islanders in the east, and the Las Vegas Golden Knights meeting the Montréal Canadiens, the (unofficial) Canadian champions, in the north-west matchup.

 Yesterday afternoon the underdog Islanders defeated the Lighning in Game 1 of their series, by a score of 2-1. My money is still on TB. The Vegas bookies are offering long odds on the Habs. I don't advocate betting from the heart, but will be putting down a sawbuck or two on les Glorieux, before the odds shorten.

Game 1 goes tonight. Here's the complete schedule, all times EDT, with notes on which TV channels will have the games. For US readers, TVAS is TVA Sports (French), SN is SportsNet (Canada's answer to ESPN), and CBC is the state-owned Canadian Broadcorping Castration.

Shame on the CBC for not carrying game 5. They bailed on Game 3 of the Montréal-Winnipeg series too, just proving yet again that Canada's national winter sport just isn't that important to the Canada's oh-so-woke "national" network. Poor Len Canayen and I will be watching on TVA!
