American Communists visiting Cuba

Your Singhs today (Drug kingpin edition) - with VIDEO

A Canadian national pleaded guilty yesterday to leading a criminal organization that, over the span of just one month, trafficked from the United States into Canada hundreds of kilograms of methamphetamine and cocaine worth up to $17 million.

Guramrit Singh Sidhu, 62, of... wait for it... Brampton ON, pleaded guilty to one count of engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise. The story of how he was caught in Canada and extradited to the US of A is told in this video.

For those readers not fluent in Punjabi, here are the details. According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, Mr Sidhu is the lead defendant in a 23-count January 2024 federal indictment targeting a drug trafficking organization. He has been in federal custody since October 2024 after being extradited from Canada.

According to his plea agreement, from September 2020 to February 2023, Sidhu led an organization responsible for trafficking drugs from the U.S. into Canada for distribution. From September 13, 2022, to October 24, 2022, Sidhu orchestrated the distribution of eight separate drug loads, totaling approximately 523 kilograms (1153 pounds) of methamphetamine and 347 kilograms (765 pounds) of cocaine, which law enforcement seized. These drug loads had an estimated wholesale value of approximately $15 million to $17 million.

After buying the bulk quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine in the USA, Mr Sidhu arranged for the narcotics' transportation into Canada via long-haul semi-trucks owned by Diversity Truck Lines and driven by students of the Singh School of Truck Driving, for further distribution.

Mr Sidhu provided telephone numbers and serial numbers of banknotes for couriers to use as a "token" for identification purposes during the delivery and transportation of the cocaine and methamphetamine. He and his co-conspirators then retrieved the cocaine and methamphetamine from locations within Canada, not 100 miles from Brampton ON and Surrey BC for further distribution.

Guramrit Singh Sidhu is the seventh defendant to plead guilty in this matter. Several other Sikhs have pled guilty to criminal charges and have been sentenced to federal prison terms ranging from 27 months to 108 months.

US District Judge John A. Kronstadt scheduled a sentencing hearing for July 9th. At that time, Mr Sidhu would face a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in federal prison and a statutory maximum sentence of life imprisonment. After he's done his time, he is likely to be deported, but whether he goes to India or Canada remains to be seen. Each of those countries wants him deported to the other.

Note from Ed.: Some of the information above has gleaned from sources other than the United States Attorney's office, and may not be totally accurate. The video is worth having a look at. Despite the apprehension and sentencing of Mr Sidhu and his co-religionists, the activites you see in the video are still going on... every day... all across the World's Longest Undefended Border(TM).

Stupid Iranian mullahs don't know when they're beaten

I saw this today on Breitbart News.

Here, unedited, are the first two paragraphs of the BN article.

President Donald Trump is “prepared to unleash hell” if Iran refuses to “come to a deal,” the White House warned Wednesday, cautioning that the regime “should not miscalculate again” after suffering devastating battlefield losses, as U.S. forces — including Marines and elements of the 82nd Airborne Division — deploy to the Middle East to support combat operations against Iran.

Speaking at a White House briefing, press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the president remains willing to listen as talks with Tehran continue, but stressed the regime is now being given a final opportunity to accept the reality of its battlefield defeat and come to terms.

Let me see if I've got this straight. President Trump, who not long ago said the American-Israeli war on Iran would be over when he "feels" that it's over, now has that feeling. He's saying the good guys (that's us!) have won. Right? So he's declaring victory (see WWW 23/3/26) and we can get back to Making America Great Again! Right?

Forgive me, but I don't hear anyone else saying it's all over. The mad mullahs of Tehran certainly aren't saying so, and keep lobbing missiles into Israel and other neighbouring countries. The Israelis aren't sayinig so and are pushing an actual boot-on-the-ground invasion of Lebanon. America's allies (read: fairweather friends) aren't saying so.

There seems to be some cognitive dissonance here. The mullahs don't get that they've lost, and, may the Donald forgive me, I don't see that we've won. That's why I haven't said anything much for the last few days. I'm waiting for something conclusive to conclude the conclusion of an ill-advised war. Dear reader, if you hear any such thing, please let me know!

Notice that there are only two doors...

You're either one or the other!

Your Singhs today (Alberta edition)

Regular readers of this ever-lengthening series will know that we usually try to post photos of the perps of the smuggling, extortion and murders for which Canada's Sikh community has become notorious. But the people who committed this particular crime are still at large, so we'll being with a picture of the victim.

Birinder Singh, aged 22, was shot to death earlier this month on  Highway 2, south of Edmonton AB, near Township Road 490, south of Leduc.

According to the RCMP (who have not yet got their man) three friends were headed to the mountains on the afternoon of 14 March when a pickup truck pulled up beside their Honda Civic.

Witnesses saw the truck pull up beside a car and then speed off. According to the two survivors of the shooting, a person in the truck made a hand gesture toward them, something resembling a peace sign. The meaning would depend on the colour of the person making the gesture.

The witnesses said their friend and Mr Singh, who was driving the car, waved back. How many fingers they used is not known. Moments later, someone in the truck opened fire and a bullet struck Mr Singh in the neck. The friends took control of the steering wheel and pulled the car over to the side of the highway. There Mr Singh died in the vehicle from loss of blood.

According to the friends, Mr Singh moved three years ago from India to... wait for it... Brampton ON, on an international student visa. He studied business administration at the Singh School of Truck Driving before relocating to Edmonton in October. Since then, the business administration student worked in construction, installing siding. He was on his way to see the Canadian Rockies for the first time when he was killed.

Sergeant Preston of the Yukonf said investigators located the truck, a Grey 2022 Ford F-150, last week but the suspect remains at large as the Mounties continue their search for a suspect and a motive.

Here's a related news flash. CTV News reports that, to the surprise of no-one, Karen Hogan, Canada's Auditor General, found reforms to the international student program "fell short" on improving integrity, including only investigating a small number of "potentially problematic" cases flagged by post-secondary institutions.

Her report, released this morning, found that out of 153,324 potentially non-compliant students reported by schools to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in 2023 and 2024, the government only had the ability to investigate about 2000 a year, or 4057 in total.

Within those investigations, the AG’s report found that 1654 students did not respond to IRCC's two inquiries. And... spoiler alert... "the department took limited action to confirm non‑compliance beyond contacting the student for more information."

Speaking to the meeja after submitting her report to the Liberal government to be filed and forgotten, reporters on Parliament Hill on Monday, the Auditor General said it's "concerning" to see the IRCC’s lack of action. "I think they’re just not acting on the information they have," Ms Hogan said. "And I would expect them to do that. They have the powers and the tools. They just need to use them."

If the IRCC did what Ms Hogan suggests, Marx Carnage's Liberal government would be in danger of losing as many as 24 seats -- notably in Brampton, Surrey BC and Edmonton -- in the House of Commons. So don't expect any such action until there are reliable reports of sub-zero temperatures in Hades.

UPDATED: Agent 10 approves this meme

Agent 10 is a member of the Cuban diaspora. She says this meme isn't funny, but is a hard truth which people should know about. The Cuban people are waiting for President Trump (and Secretary Rubio) to do something -- anything -- to help bring about regime change, so the Cuban people may live!

UPDATE ADDED at 1715 FMT - This just in from Breitbart News

Canadian Companies Fear Major Losses if Cuban Communist Regime Falls

Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernandez de Cossio Dominguez on Friday sought to convince Canada to prop up the fading Communist regime in Havana, arguing that Canadian companies could lose billions from nullified contracts if the regime falls.

De Cossio praised Cuba’s “important trade relations” with Canada and the hefty investments Canadian companies have made in Cuba. "Despite the fact that we do not have a coincidence in all the political and international positions, we have always known how to solve our problems, our differences, and work with them based on dialogue and based on mutual respect," he said.

The Cuban official blamed America’s energy blockade for starving Cuba of the fuel it needs for "everything from energy for hospitals, for homes, for education, for industry, for the production of food, for agriculture, for transportation, for medical care, for the livelihoods of people."

De Cossio claimed Cuba’s infamous nationwide blackouts are "not a result of Cuban inefficiency, not as the result of Cuba mismanagement of the electrical grid, but because the United States is depriving Cuba of fuel."

De Cossio, formerly Cuba’s ambassador to Canada, was responding to Ottawa warning Canadian firms away from making new investments in Cuba last week, due to the island’s "ongoing liquidity crisis" and the collapse of its power grid.

The back story no-one talks about is that Blackie McBlackface (aka Justin Trudeau), former prime minister of Canuckstan is widely believed to be the love child of Fidel Castro and the hare-brained Margaret Trudeau (wife of Emperor Trudeau I), the same one who, back in the day, was photographed sans panties in front of Studio 54 in NYC. This being a family publication, we refrain from posting the photo but you can find it by Googling "Margaret Trudeau Studio 54.

[Walt, how many times to I have to tell you about run-on sentences?! Ed.]

"Declare victory and get out!"

"Declare victory and get out" is a political phrase often wrongly attributed to Senator George Aiken (R-VT) regarding Vietnam in 1966. It suggests ending military involvement by claiming success, a strategy frequently raised to avoid long-term quagmires, most recently discussed... errr... today, in connection with the American-Israeli war on Iran.

The Myth: It is widely believed Senator George Aiken suggested the US of A should simply declare victory and leave Vietnam. The Reality: Records show Aiken did not use that exact phrasing. He advocated for a strategic shift rather than total immediate withdrawal. The Intent: The phrase became popular shorthand for a "face-saving" exit from a war with no clear objective. Not that America would ever again be involved in such a war, of course.

Contexte du jour: It is said that some of POTUS's advisors, along with the usual suspects in the media, are suggesting that the Trump administration should "declare victory and get out" of Iran to prevent further escalation. This advice follows strikes by the US. and Israel, with proponents arguing that continued involvement risks becoming an endless, costly conflict. Arguments to declare victory and exit include protecting domestic economic interests and avoiding long-term, direct conflict in the region.

Stay tuned.

The National Post and the rise and fall of Lord Black of Cross Harbour

As promised in our previous post (scroll down to footnote), here's the story of how Canada's National Post got its name... and how its founder got his comeuppance.

Back in the 1980s, a Canadian business tycoon by the name of Conrad Black decided he wanted to be a media mogul -- a sort of latter-day Lord Beaverbrook -- if only to see his turgid op-ed pieces in print.

First he bought some lesser-known newspapers, including the Jerusalem Post, which he acquired in 1990 through his company, Hollinger Inc., for a mere $17 million. Under his ownership, the paper underwent an editorial shift to the right. It was eventually sold in 2004 following Mr Black's departure from Hollinger, which Walt will explain momentarily below.

But the Jerusalem Post was just a beginning. Wanting a national, conservative-leaning voice in Canada to challenge the Groan & Wail, Mr Black acquired the Southam newspaper chain, including its flagship Financial Post, a weekly which was to be relaunched as a daily.

But what should the new rag be called? Disrespectful hacks suggested that in view of Mr Black's circumferential challenge, a good name would be Daily Tubby

For some reason, Mr Black chose instead to launch the "new" paper on 27 October 1998 as the National Post. (Here at WWW, we usually refer to it as the Notional Pest.) The "new" newspaper was soon losing money briskly, with an estimated $190 million lost during its first three years.

Conrad Black went from strength to strength (as he tells it, anyway) and his greatness was eventually recognized by Queen Elizabeth II, who granted him a life peerage in 2001, giving him the title of Baron Black of Cross Harbour. He had to renounce his Canadian citizenship to accept the title, since Canadian citizens are prohibited by law from accepting British honours.

Just months before his elevation, Lord Black sold 50% of his stake in the National Post to CanWest Global Communications Corp., then owned by the loathsome Izzy Asper, a prominent member of Canada's Jewish community and great friend of the Zionist Entity. A few months later, CanWest bought the remaining 50% from Lord Black, who, after all, had all those fancy robes to buy and very high-maintenance wife to support.

Seated at his right hand in the photo is Lady Black, née Barbara Amiel, whom Walt met, just once, in the offices of a student newspaper somewhere. Conrad Black (as he then was) was her fourth husband.

Things started to go south for M'lord and M'lady in 2003, when the tax and securities boys in the US of A started to look at the books of Hollinger Inc., including some which were in the hands of Lord Black when he had his collar felt. Caught black-and-white-handed, he was.

It took some time for the wheels of justice to grind Lord Black down, but in 2007 he was convicted of felony fraud and obstruction of justice for a scheme that involved stealing roughly $6.1 million from Hollinger International investors. He served over three years in an American prison, but was fully pardoned by President Trump in 2019. To this day, Lord Black's gratitude is expressed regularly in his columns in the NP.

As for his peerage,  Conrad Black was removed from the British House of Lords in July 2024 for non-attendance, losing his seat as a working peer. But he got to keep his title. In 2023, the Canadian government of Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface decided that Mr Black's renunciation of his citizenship had been only "temporary". His title is effectively meaningless, as was that of Officer of the Order of Canada which was stripped from him in 2014.

Yes, all is forgiven, and Tubby's relentless pro-Israel, pro-Trump and pro-America propanda can be read in the National Post regularly... too much so for our liking.

VIDEO: Victor Davis Hanson explains Americans' beef with Canada

This weekend, Canada's National Post* published a piece headed "Polls show Americans dislike Canada more than ever". The writer argues that's bad news for the Canuck Prime Minister Marx Carnage because his efforts to resolve the tariff war with POTUS, he is constrained because "there’s a point at which Canadians aren't going to accept big concessions [to the US]…until they get an apology" for all the "51st state" and other nonsense.

Ed. scraped this meme from the NP article, but hasn't explained what it means.

The writer goes on to say that Canadians' affection for America tends to rise and fall with whoever's in the White House. It dropped for Dubya, rose for the Prez, and then plunged during President Trump's first term, only to rise again with Demented Joe Biden asleep in the Oval Office.

In the first year of the Donald's second presidency, however, Canadians' fondness for their southern neighbour has plumbed new lows. And vice versa! Americans’ views of Canadians have also made a historic shift -- for the worse. According to a Gallup poll released this month, while most Americans see Canada favourably, that view is shared by only 80% of thoser polled, compared with 91% during the Biden years. That's the lowest level Gallup has seen since 1980s.

One of those no longer enamored of Canada -- or rather, the idiotic, ultra-woke policies of the Liberal government they keep voting for -- is our old friend Victor Davis Hanson. In this video, published on 19 March by the Daily Signal, Mr Hanson talks about countries which he thinks are reliable friends and allies of the US of A. Canada is not at the top of his list, for reasons which he explains. .

*Footnote: You may be interested [or not. Ed.] to know how the National Post got its name. I started to tell the shocking tale of greed and hubris, but it has already reached six paragraphs, so will save it for next time.

VIDEO: Your Singhs today (Surrey BC edition)

The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has apparently become aware that it's getting a bad rep [a "woke" rep too! Ed.] for not deporting the 1000s of illegal immigrants convicted of crimes in Canada. A disproportionate number of these are gentlemen of the Sikh faith, who have for years been involved with cross-border drug smuggling via Diversity Transport.

More recently, dozens of the turban-winders have been implicated, some being charged and (remarkably convicted), in extortion, arson and even murder of Sikhs and other south Asians, notably in Brampton ON and Surrey BC.

Theoretically, anyone who is not a Canadian citizen who is convicted of a crime carrying a sentence of more than six months, may be ordered deport. "Permanent residents" are not exempt, and in severe cases even a naturalized citizen can be ordered to go back to India or Pakistan or wherever he came from.

Indeed many deportation orders have been issued. But (Walt hears you ask) how many have actually been enforced. Well, on Wednesday the CBSA went public with an update on its crackdown and response to extortion-related shootings. Here's the report, complete with pictures of two Singh's who have actually been sent home from Canuckistan, from Global TV News.

To put in print what's in the video, CBSA said it has been monitoring immigration cases that have been potentially linked to extortion cases since August. As of 12 March, it has opened 372 immigration investigations, issued 70 removal orders and removed 35 people from Canada.

In the Pacific region, the CBSA says it has issued 34 removal orders and removed 25 people. The agency highlighted the recent deportations of two people, Arshdeep Singh [Arshdeep in shit, eh!] and Sukhnaaz Singh Sandhu, saying both men were linked to organized crime and removed from Canada earlier this year. For some reason, the country to which they have been remigrated has not been named.

Walt sez: Good riddance to them! When are the remaining 44 going to be frog-marched onto an Air India (or Air Pakistan) plane?  And what about the 100s now the guests of His Majesty (and Canadian taxpayers) at crowbar hotels across the Great No-longer-white North? Eh?

TOO MUCH! even for the Donald

From Breitbart News. Walt sez: Oh c'mon Chief! You weren't even born then. She wasn't even born then! Neither was she! And Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae is conservative, pro-American, and an all-round good person to have on our side. Don't be making jokes that are actually insults. Show a little class!

VIDEO: Zelenskyy says "Ukraine is helping fight Iran. Now help us!"

The current unpleasantness in the Middle East has diverted the world's attention from Russia's invasion of Ukraine. And, particularly in the US of A, there is a growing chorus of complainers that America should reduce or even end support for those fighting for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.

What can these people say, now that Ukraine is doing what it can to support the American-Israeli efforts to overthrow the murderous regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran? In a speech given on Tuesday to a group of members of the British Parliament, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for joint efforts in building up anti-drone defences against Iranian missile and dreone attacks.

Ukraine has become the world leader in drone technology for warfare. On a daily basis they can now manufacture not only enough drones for their own need, but also drones for the needs of other countries. Ukraine now has technicians on the ground in all of the Arab countries surrounding Iran that have been attacked by Iran. And they are training the armies of those countries in the techniques of drone warfare.

President Zelenskyy said that "right now, there are 201 Ukrainians in the Middle East and Gulf region, and another 34 are ready to deploy... If, together with partners in the Middle East, we build a system like Ukraine, they will be able to track attacks from Iran or from the Houthis in real time, analyze them, keep improving their defense, giving people critical infrastructure and trade routes."

Dear readers, Ukraine is on our side! Seems to us the least we can do is give them all the aid we can in their desperate fight for freedom!

Thanks and a tip of the ushanka to Agent 5 for sending us the URL for this one.

Can you say "stalemate", boys 'n' girls?

Call me a traitor if you like, but it has to be said that the US of A has form for starting wars which it can't finish. Before Afghanistan, Iraq and Vietnam we can point all the way back to the War of 1812, which then POTUS James Madison said would be "only a matter of marching", all over in a month or so. Does this sound familiar?

Since the outcome of the War of 1812 is barely mentioned in US schools nowadays, let us review how Madison's little excursion turned out. There was fighting, mostly on the Canadian (British, in those days) side of the Great Lakes. The Royal Navy attacked and burned the American capital, causing Dolly Madison to pack up her dishes and flee the White House. The Americans won the final battle (New Orleans) nearly a month after a truce had been agreed. The borders of the US of A remained as they had been ante bellum. Much treasure and blood was expended, but nothing was gained.

Walt predicts a similar outcome for the American-Israeli war on Iran.

Again, call me a traitor if you like, but I don't see a lot of winning going on here! The Israelis are said to have invaded Lebanon, but that's a sideshow. The Big Show is Iran. The mission (so far as we can understand it) is to (a) terminate the Chief Mullah and so (b) to effect the overthrow of the Islamist theocracy, while also (c) ensuring that Iran would never have nuclear weapons and (d) the supply of Big Oil would be secure forever more, Or (e) all of the above.

Three weeks in, after the loss of dozens of American lives and expenditure of many millions of dollars, as nearly as Walt can see, only (a) has been accomplished. So what? The same gang of mullahs may be hiding behind a cardboard cutout of the Son-of-the-Mullah, but they're still in control. A few oil tankers are getting through the Strait of Hormuz, but the US is clearly incapable of keeping that channel oopen to the point where President Trump is almost screaming "A little help here!?!?" at America's fair weather friends.

I can't see any favourable outcome to this conflict. POTUS says it'll be over when he thinks it's over, but when will that be? Seems to me the stage is being set for a declaration of victory and a "withdrawal" under cover of a cease-fire which will be touted as a Big Win, just like that over Hamas a few months ago.

Many Americans have been killed. US military bases in the Gulf are burning. America's so-called allies are running for diplomatic cover. The only "winning" is being done by the Israelis, who are finishing what they couldn't do in 1967. Clearly the US of A has lost control of a war that will not end until Iran says so.

Any realist has to call the situation a strategic stalemate, with intense air campaigns failing to force capitulation or halt Iranian retaliations. While initial strikes damaged infrastructure, Iran has continued targeting energy routes in the Strait of Hormuz, leading to a protracted conflict with no clear endgame. Iran has successfully targeted global energy security, creating a protracted war.

The stalemate is causing major global disruptions, with oil prices rising over $100/bbl and increasing economic uncertainty in other regions, notes. It's hard to see how this ends except in a "draw" where both sides declare victory, or settle into a low-level, long-term confrontation that could reshape the region. Or not.

I would dearly love to be wrong. I would like to see the people of Iran liberated from the yoke of Islamist oppression. I have similar hopes for the people of Venezuela and (even more so) the people of Cuba. But we're not there yet... are we...

VIDEO: To our Irish readers and friends...

...and those who wish they were Irish

to yez all!
from Walt, Poor Len [and Ed.! Ed.]

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more! As a special Saint Paddy's day treat we give you "The Irish Ballad", written and sung by Tom Lehrer to a bemused audience of Danes at Copenhagen in 1967.

Which is worse - Islamophobia or Islamic terrorism?

Scraped from Blazing Cat Fur.

Memo from Poor Len Canayen to Martin St-Louis: Rest Hutson!

Ed. here. The condition of the front room of Walt's cabin in the pines when I walked in this morning was such that I doubt we're going to get anything useful out of him. Two large jars of Ma Nifkins' jellied gin -- both empty -- are not a good sign.

So I called our National Sport (As Long As It's Hockey) Editor, Poor Len Canayen, and asked him if we could make public his memorandum to Martin St-Louis, head coach of Montréal Canadiens. He said "ben ouais", which I take as a yes. Here `tis.

Slt Martin! St'une belle équipe là mais [Oops, forgot to turn on the translator. Ed.] but you'd better keep one eye on the rear-view mirror. We can't afford to lose two more games in a row like we did this weekend. Especially not by just one goal. (Yes, I know it was technically 4-2 on Saturday, but that fourth goal was an empty-netter so it was really 3-2)

What is to be done to make sure Boston or Ottawa don't leapfrog over us? Here's my view from the nosebleed seats.

Marty, the guys are tired, especially the rookies. Ivan Demidov, Oliver Kapanen and Lane Hutson have never played a full season in the NHL. The grind of playing 3-4 games a week, week in and week out, is getting to them. And don't forget that Hutson isn't that big -- just 5'9" and 160 lbs. You can't keep giving him big minutes -- over 20 per game -- and expect him to keep up the same torrid pace.

My advice? Rest Hutson a bit. But how to do that, absent a reliable sixth defenceman? Answer: Revamp the power play. Let Noah Dobson QB the first unit at the point for Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slavkovsky and Demidov.

Then, for the second unit, you can put Mike Matheson on the point, maybe alterenating with Hutson. Who's gonna be up front, then? Here's my counter-intuitive brilliant suggestion. Activate Patrick Laine!

Laine's healthy (although probably a bit rusty for lack of playing time) and has been showing up for practice. Put him on the fourth line, and put him in his "office" on the power play, with Phillip Danault and/or Kapanen at centre, and Brendan Gallagher and Alexandre Texier. That's going to put a lot of pressure on Matheson to concentrate on foiling a counter-attack, but hey, he's a horse!

If  you think I'm crazy, consider that the Habs' power play went 0 for 4 against the Ducks(!) last night. The PP has got to be fixed. What's your idea?

Go Habs go!  Len

"Allahu Akbar!" in Michigan

Isn't it the truth I told yez yesterday when I wrote, "Islamic terrorism -- coming soon to a locale not far enough from your home!" You never know where the jihadis are going to strike next. For instance...

If you go north from Detroit on US 24, passing through the majority-Arab city of Dearborn as quickly as you can, you will come after a few minutes to a nicer place, just off to the west, called West Bloomfield Township. Being a cleaner, more prosperous exurb, it has a population of Jews large enough to support a nice temple called Temple Israel -- the largest Reform temple in America.

There, yesterday, while more than 100 children were going to school, someone drove a pickup truck "purposefully" into the synagogue, where he exchanged gunfire with security guards, and was shot dead.

30 police officers were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation as the synagogue became engulfed in flames from the truck. One security guard is being treated at hospital for injuries and is expected to recover. The school's 140 students, staff, and teachers have all been accounted for and are safe.

Jennifer Runyan, the DEI special agent in charge at the FBI's Detroit Field Office, told the meeja "We are leading the investigation right now as a targeted act of violence against the Jewish community." Strangely, though, Ms Runyan would say nothing about the dead suspect's identity, ethnicity or religion other than "There is one subject involved in this incident, who is now deceased."

Why not tell us more? Because, she said, she had to "protect the integrity of this investigation." And to prevent the spread of Islamophobia, of course, although she didn't say that.

However, our suspicions were confirmed within hours when the Department of Homeland Security identified the suspect, as Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, 41, who was born in Lebanon. The late Mr Ghazali entered the United States on 10 May 2011. [How? Ed.] The DHS said he then married an American, obtained an immigrant visa and became an American citizen in 2016. That's all ye know and all ye need to know.

VIDEO: Matt Walsh exposes media lies about NYC terror attack

First, let me apologize for not  posting "'Allahu akbar!' at Gracie Mansion" on Sunday. TBH, when I first saw the story on BBC, it didn't seem like a big deal. Just a couple of Pennsylvania teenagers playing around with homemade bombs and claiming to be jihadis -- servants of the Prophet!

Here's the BBC summary, ICYMI. Two men have been charged with terror offences after police said they attempted to bomb a protest outside the New York City mayor's home in an attack allegedly inspired by the Islamic State group.

The suspects, 18-year-old Emir Balat and 19-year-old Ibrahim Kayumi, allegedly told police that they aimed for the Saturday attack to be "even larger" than the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing that left three dead. New York police say the pair attempted to detonate two explosives outside Gracie Mansion, where Mayor Zohran Mamdani lives.

Authorities found a third bomb in their car. The incident happened during an anti-Islam protest. None of the explosives went off as intended. So... no biggie. Nobody hurt. Just a couple of Muslim kids from Pennsylvania horsing around. As you can see, they're now in the custody of law enforcement. Kid Balat is on the left, Kid Bayumi the right.

No reason for alarm, eh, let alone Islamophobia. But...my Spidey senses got aroused when I saw how hard the lickspittle media -- notably the New York Times and CNN -- were trying to conceal information about the suspects' backgrounds and motivation. Here's the NYT's sanitized version of the story:

"Two Pennsylvania teenagers crossed into New York City Saturday morning for what could’ve been a normal day enjoying the city during abnormally warm weather. But in less than an hour, their lives would drastically change as the pair would be arrested for throwing homemade bombs."

Enough to gag a maggot, isn't it? They don't say that Emir Balat, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, are legally adults. NYC police described the items they hurled not as "homemade bombs" but as "IEDs". These they tossed into a crowd of innocent people peacefully protesting against the Islamization of New York City.

Also omitted from the Times' version were reports that Mr Balat yelled "Allahu akbar!" during the incident. Nor did they write that during a brief appearance before reporters, he flashed the single-finger gesture associated with ISIS. Even Islamist-Communist New York mayor Zohran Mamdani has grudgingly admitted the two men are charged with a "heinous act of terrorism and proclaiming their allegiance to ISIS."

Bad as the Times report was, American right-wing political commentator and podcast host Matt Walsh says CBS was worse and CNN worse still. Here's what he has to say about the mainstream media's deliberate obfuscation and egregious mendacity.

And here's the straight dope, as published belatedly by CBS News under the subhead "Investigators looking into suspects' background"

"Investigators are looking into the overseas travel for Balat and Kayumi. Balat left the U.S. for several months and traveled to Istanbul from May 6 to Aug. 26, 2025. He most recently traveled back to the US from Turkey in January of this year. Meanwhile, Kayumi traveled to Istanbul for several weeks in July and August 2024 and to Saudi Arabia in late March of that year.

"Federal investigators have also been interviewing family members of Balat and Kayumi as part of their investigation, as well as looking at their online communications. Balat's parents were born in Turkey and were naturalized as US citizens in 2017. Balat is a US citizen and has been living with his family in a large two-story home in Pennsylvania.

"A woman at the residence confirmed to CBS Philadelphia that Balat lived at the house. Kayumi's parents are originally from Afghanistan. They became naturalized US citizens in 2004 and 2009. It is unclear if Kayumi was living with them at the time of the incident Saturday."

If you're searching for the truth about the threat of Islamic terrorism -- coming soon to a locale not far enough from your home! -- don't listen to CNN, the NYT, Wapo, NPR and the other lickspittle media. Listen to Matt Walsh and the other commentators we feature here on WWW! We're pullin' for ya!

VIDEO: Michael Matt calls out Christian Zionists over Iran war

Call me a Mugwump if you want [OK, you're a mugwump! Ed.] but I'm not totally on board with the war against the Mad Mullahs of Iran.

There can be no doubt that the Middle East and the world in general would be a better and safer place if the Islamic theocracy were overthrown. But, as I suggeested yesterday, I don't see any clear plan for replacing the arch-Muslim dictators with a more tractable regime. And I certainly don't want to see another debacle like Iran or Afghanistan.

One thing's for sure. I reject the argument of the Christian Zionists that this war, fomented by the Israelis (read: Jews) is all part of God's plan to establish His kingdom on Earth. For those who haven't heard, Christian Zionism is a theological and political movement wherein Christians support the state of Israel and the return of the Jewish people to the Holy Land, believing this fulfills biblical prophecy regarding the End Times.

Rooted in 17th-century Puritan thought, this ideology sees modern Israel as a divine miracle. No traditional Catholic can believe that, as Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper says in an e-mail received here today, as follows:

Re: War in Iran – regardless of the nonsense Senator Ted Cruzmissile learned in Sunday school, Bibi’s manmade messiah has no legitimate Biblical foundation. Not to make this all about Sen. Lindsey Graham, but the warmongering Zionists are trying to blasphemously show Jesus Christ how it’s done.

What they’re essentially doing now is laying claim to the temporal power the Sanhedrin wanted the first time around. Charlie Kirk was right! Their kingdom is most definitely of this world! So, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran…and any other country that gets in the way of Israel’s nuclear-armed messianism.

Antisemitic? Not at all! Orthodox Jews reject Israel’s militarized messiah out of hand. They consider it heresy, which is why I heavily lean on their testimony in this week’s Underground [the video below. Ed.].

Traditional Jews and Traditional Roman Catholics know their scripture, whereas Zionists rewrite it to accommodate their political aspirations. From Iraq to Gaza and from Syria to Iran, this is about a human hack for a divine curse... They base their claims on a religious right to the land of Israel, as promised to Abraham, heretically insisting that once Jews repossess Israel, this will bring about the millennial rule of Christ on Earth for 1000 years.

What are they missing? Almighty God keeps His promises! So, just as Adam forfeited Paradise on Earth by his sin – and we forfeit God’s promised heavenly Jerusalem through mortal sin – so too the Jews forfeited the Promised Land by breaking the covenant with God.

In Deuteronomy 28:63-64 (DRV), Moses warns them "the Lord shall rejoice destroying you and bringing you to nought, so that you shall be taken away from the land... The Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the farthest parts of the earth to the ends thereof."

That is the judgment of God Himself, and it was reaffirmed in no uncertain terms by His only begotten Son. Any attempt to circumvent it on the part of Zionists – Christian or otherwise – is blasphemy.

In this latest edition of The Remnant Underground, Mr Matt takes a deep dive into the biblical foundations of this fundamentally Christian reality: No one can be at the same time a sincere Catholic and a Christian Zionist. Listen and learn.

What's the PLAN for IRAN?

As soon as POTUS (or Bibi) confides in me, or I figure it out by myself, I'll let you know.

Time to build more pipelines from Canada to USA!

Want cheaper gas? You gotta have cheap, reliable oil. Where ya gonna get it?

Hey, Canada has cheap oil. Too bad it's way up there in the Great No-longer-white North. Too bad a decade of misgovernment by the Liberal government of Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface (featuring cabinet members such as Climate Barbie and nutty Steve Guilbeault) focused on keeping the oil in the ground. Seriously, that was there avowed policy and they stuck to it.

American politicians are just as much to blame. One of the first things Demented Joe Biden did after he stole the 2020 election was to reaffirm the Obama kibosh on the Keystone XL project which was going to allow billions of gallons of crude to be shipped from Alberta to Texas, on demand.

Then there was Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer, who actually sued Enbridge because she was afraid their Line 5, which transports up to 540,000 barrels per day of light crude oil and natural gas liquids from Superior WI to Sarnia ON, crossing the Straits of Mackinac, might spring a leak.

It's that kind of climate alarmism, not to mention 1000s of pages of regulations and 1000s of miles of red tape, that keeps energy companies from going to full-out to provide Americans and Canadians with the oil and gas we need. Next time you're asked to vote, be guided by this photo -- not AI-generated -- of how some people coped with a previous shortage of the fuel that makes us go.

SCOTUS unanimously backs deportation of failed asylum-seekers

Douglas Humberto Urias-Orellana, his wife Sayra Iliana Gamez-Mejia, and their minor child are citizens of El Salvadoran who entered the US of A "without authorization" -- read: illegally -- in 2021, then claimed asylum.

An Immigration Judge (IJ) denied their applications and ordered their removal -- read: deportation -- determining that they had neither demonstrated past "persecution" nor established a "well-founded fear" of future "persecution" as required under the Immigration and Nationality Act.

After unsuccessfully challenging their removal order with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the Latinx sought review in federal court. The Court of Appeals affirmed the BIA’s ruling, holding that "substantial evidence" supported the agency's determination that there was not a reasonable fear of persecution, and the family should therefore be deported.

But Sr Urias-Orellana did not give up so easily. Funded by American taxpayers, he and his wife and child appealed all the way to the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). Much to his chagrin -- and the surprise of the supporters of open borders -- SCOTUS, in a decision released yesterday, unanimously affirmed the judgment of the Court of Appeals.

Ironically, the 9-0 decisiion was written by the court's most left-wing judge, Biden appointee Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. It will be now used to handcuff liberal judges who want to help the growing number of migrants who lose their asylum pleas at the Justice Department.

The unanimous in Urias–Orellana v. Bondi is a win for the Trump administration. It means that millions of migrants will face even tougher pressure to leave the United States, especially after they are arrested by ICE.

It will be a big help to those charged with stemming the flood of illegal immigrants as they try to boost the number of self-deportations and ICE deportations. In December, 38% of the migrants detained by ICE chose to go home rather than file lawsuits to stay in the United States. Walt hopes those that are still here are paying attention!

The wrong way to do it
I'll tell you who's not listening. In a story headlined, "Failed asylum seeker families to be offered up to £40k to leave UK", the BBC reports that families of failed asylum seekers will be offered up to £40,000 to leave the Disunited Kingdom under a trial scheme announced today.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood [What part of Ireland do you think she's from? Ed.] said the leftist Labour government would seek to forcibly remove failed asylum seekers if they do not accept "incentive payments" of up to £10,000 per person, capped at four per family, within seven days.

The scheme is expected to target about 150 families living in taxpayer-funded accommodation, and the Home Office estimates it could save £20 million if successful. However, the Conservatives and Reform UK said the payments would incentivise people to come to the UK illegally.

Hey libtard! Got your new flag yet? Karen's got hers!

PPC leader Max Bernier asks tough questions about illegal immigration

Contrary to rumours being spread by Canada's controlled media -- not just the state-owned public broadcaster but every major fake newspaper -- the People's Party of Canada is still alive and still fighting for real Canadian values to be reflected in federal government policy.

In particular, they are the only federal party taking a hard line against illegal immigration: third-worlders crossing Canuckistan's porous borders, overstaying student and work visas, and avoiding deportation by crying "refugee".

Two million "temporary" residence permits are set to expire this year, and almost no-one is talking about what happens next. The plan being quietly advanced by the governing Liberal Party of Marx Carnage is to eliminate the backlog of refugee and asylum claims by a process of "mass regularization". That's Liberal-speak for letting them all stay,  no questions asked.

In this video, PPC leader Maxime Bernier speaks out against this secret plan, and asks whether or not Canada's laws actually mean anything.

The Plain People of Canada: What abouth yon Parti Québécois, then?

Hey, we said the PPC is the only federal party expressing Canadians' anger about uncontrolled illegal immigration. Things are different at the provincial level, when you get closer to the grass roots. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is at daggers drawn with the federal government, demanding that her province (Canada's version of Texas) have the right to enforce immigration laws and boot out those they don't like.

And in la Belle Province du Québec, at a time when support for Quebec separatism has reached one of the lowest ebbs of the last 50 years, voters seem about to hand the government over to le Parti Québécois, the province's historical standard-bearer for secession, now seen as "the most successful anti-woke party in Canada". That's PQ leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon in the picture, giving The Salute. All good liberals know what that means, eh!

The PQ may simply be the most conspicuous beneficiary of a Canada-wide backlash to high immigration, racial hiring quotas, and the various other trappings of what the French call "wokisme". We don't need to translate, do we?

The party’s official immigration policy pledges to cap new immigrants at 35,000 per year, to place a permanent moratorium on "economic immigration", and to pursue "automation" and "roboticization" to lessen Quebec's dependence on immigrant labour.

M St-Pierre Plamondon has been a heterodox voice on cultural issues ever since becoming PQ leader in 2020. That year, he criticized the Montréal Canadiens' decision (since reveresed) to open home games with the vomit-inducing "Indigenous land acknowledgement", stating that it was inaccurate to characterize Montréal as sitting on top of "unceded" land.

Also in 2020, he was one of the few Canadian politicians to publicly question a federally driven push towards accusing Canadian institutions of "systemic racism". Then prime minister Blackie McBlackface had called "systemic racism...an issue right across the country, in all our institutions, including in all our police forces." But M St-Pierre Plamondon joined Québec Premier François Legault in questioning the claim's core tenet that any differential outcome among races was ipso facto evidence of racism.

In his first press conference after becoming PQ leader, M Plamondon said he wanted specific examples of discriminatory policies, rather than just blanket government declarations that everything was racist, "so we can come up with solutions that are connected to the diagnosis, rather than say it's out there, in the system." He added, "there is no doubt in my mind that the concept of systemic racism should not be taught in our secondary schools."

The Laurentian elites may be tut-tutting and crying "racisme", but pure-laine Canadiens are listening, and flocking to the Parti Québécois.  Suddenly, M St-Pierre Plamondon’s more heterodox positions suddenly aren't all that controversial. In late 2024, he publicly denounced the very idea of wokeism. He defined wokeism it as a political strategy of using guilt and disinformation in order to impose a political agenda through brute force.

On "Tout le monde en parle", Québec's most-watched talk show, he said that one signature technique of the wokesters is "the use of the words 'racist', 'intolerance', and 'phobe' to silence opponents." But, he said, "We can serve justice and we can serve equity without insulting and intimidating others."

Canada needs more political leaders like Max Bernier, Danielle Smith and Paul St-Pierre Plamondon. Let those who are afraid to speak out strongly for fear of being called "racist" etc take note.

Inevitably... Canada's version of Amelia appears... and welcome!

Canucks are always a bit slow on the uptake.

UPDATED: Who allowed this jihadi wannabe into the USA?

Further to "'Allahu akbar!' in Austin TX" (WWW 1/3/26), we now have a photo (scraped from the New York Post) and more information on 53-year old Ndiaga Diagne, the black follower of the Prophet who shot up a bar in Austin TX on Sunday, killing two people and wounding 14 others.

The authorities are still "investigating" Mr Diagne's motives for the shooting -- apparently the slogan on his T-shirt isn't conclusive -- but haven't been able to suppress the truth about his identity and background.

The murderer is a former resident of the Big Apple. He arrived in the US of A on a tourist visa on 13 March 2000, during the Clinton administration, and became a lawful permanent resident when he married an American citizen [possibly white? named Karen? Ed.] in June 2006.

In spite of several arrests over the next 6+ years, Mr Diagne became a naturalized US citizen on 5 April 2013, around the start of former President Barack Hussein Obama's second term. Before yesterday's bloody massacre, he was known to authorities in both New York and Texas as an emotionally disturbed person. We await information about licences he may have had for the firearms with which he killed.

Yes indeed. But it seems half of Americans haven't realized that yet.

UPDATE ADDED at 1250 FMT: Breitbart News reports these details, passed to CBS news by "an undisclosed source".

"On Sunday, investigators executed a search warrant on the Pflugerville, Texas home of Ndiaga Diagne, the deceased gunman responsible for the deadly Austin shooting that occurred earlier in the day. According to a source familiar with the investigation, law enforcement officials found an Iranian flag and photos of leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran during a search of the home."

Walt asks: Is that enough now? Can we now say that the massacre was an act of Islamic terrorism?

I hate to be "that guy" but... about the US, Israel and Armageddon

We don't like to repost our own stuff but as the American-Israel war on Iran enters its fourth day we can't help but think that we've seen this movie before. Or maybe this is just the latest version of the long-running franchise.

Let's rewind to "Scrapping the Iran deal: another milepost on the road to Armageddon", WWW 10/5/18. To save you clicking on the link [but go ahead if you want! Ed.], the main point of that post was that President Trump was right to scrap the Obama deal with Iran.

He did that because "Iran is a danger to us, to our allies, to freedom. We stand alongside you in ending the dangerous appeasement of Iran and making all and any action required to stop Iran going nuclear, help its people, halt its spreading of terror and achieve peace and stability in the Middle East and among all peoples and nations."

Inevitably, the Democrats, liberals and one-worlders disagreed with Mr Trump. The Prez called the decision to screap the Iran deal "misguided". The deal was negotiated on his watch and he took credit for it, as befits the winner of a Nobel Peace. What else would he say.

Walt wrote: What the doves never explained was why, if the Iran deal was such a great game-changer, peace didn't break out in the Middle East the minute it was signed. The object was to prevent Iran from developing a nuculer (giving it the American pronunciation) weapon, and stop them from mucking around in Syria and other Muslim civil wars -- Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, etc etc -- by bringing them (Iran) back into the world economic community. So how did that work out?

The Prez and all the other one-world, appease-the-Muslim wienies have responded to POTUS' decision to scrap the Iran nuke deal by saying that his decision has moved us closer than ever to a full-scale war, yea a veritable nuclear holocaust! So if the Middle East explodes, it's all Trump's fault. Right?

Errr, no. My point was that we were on the road to Armageddon well before the Iran deal! See "
3 portents of the coming Armageddon", WWW 26/8/14. Scrapping the deal makes no difference other than to immanentize the eschaton.

The years passed. The Biden interregnum brought was marked by the ignominious retreat from Afghanistan and other triumphs of Democratic diplomacy. The Iranians, emboldened by the defeat of the Trumpster, carried on with their nuclear program and with raising Islamic terrorist hell in the Middle East and around the world.

Now the Donald is back in the White House and can see that the mad mullahs who rule Iran are just as keen as ever on destroying the "Zionist entity" to their south -- note the direction: it's important! -- and imposing their brand of the Religion of Peace(TM), complete with Sharia Law, on the Middle East and however much more of the world the craven Western powers allow.

Time now to explain why we're naming this version of the old movie "The Road to Armageddon". Here's a Biblical (DRV) reference: "And the Lord saidto me: From the north shall an evil break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. Jeremias 1:14 (DRV).

Now take a look at a map of the Middle East.  If the "families of the kingdoms of the north" come once again to attack the gates of Jerusalem (1:15), the road they will take goes right past... or through... a little place called Megiddo, indicated with the red marker on the map..

That's "Megiddo" as in "Mount Megiddo", which is not really a mountain but a "tell", a city built on top of a city built on top of another city, and so on for 5000 years. During the Bronze Age, Megiddo was an important Canaanite city-state. During the Iron Age, it was a royal city in the Kingdom of Israel.

Megiddo is mentioned only once in the New Testament of the Bible, but has sixteen mentions in the Old Testament, notably in Chapters 4 and 5 of the book of Judges.

Among the judges, the only female, and the only one to be called a prophet is Deborah (aka Debbora), a decisive figure in the defeat of the Canaanites. This is a victory told in two accounts, a prose narrative in Judges 4 and a poem, known as the Song of Deborah, in Judges 5. At Judges 4:6 "she sent and called Barac...and said to him: The Lord God of Israel hath commanded thee: Go, and lead an army."

And so he did. In the 15th century B.C., God gave the victory at the battle of Megiddo (Judges 5:19) through those who are willing to follow His lead.

For Christians the word Megiddo is synonymous with the end of the world as mentioned in the Apocalypse of Saint John the Apostle (aka Revelation) 16:16. Other battles, besides the one mentioned in Judges, were fought at Megiddo, as recently as World War I.

"Har-Megiddo" (Hebrew for the "mount" of "mountain" of Megiddo) or Armageddon, will be the site of the Final Battle.

At that time, according to Apocalypse 6:1-8 (DRV), God will release onto the world four horsemen -- the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The Four Horsemen appear with the opening of the first four of the seven seals that bring forth the cataclysm of the Apocalypse.

The first horseman, a conqueror with a bow and crown, rides a white horse.
The second horseman is given a great sword and rides a red horse, symbolizing war and bloodshed.
The third carries a balance scale, rides a black horse, and symbolizes famine
The fourth horseman rides a pale horse and is identified as Death.

It's hard to look at the events unfolding right now without wondering if the Final Battle has not begun. I'm afraid to repeat my usual "Stay tuned."

VIDEO: "Allahu akbar!" in Austin TX

Earlier today, on NBC’s Meet the Press, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said the American military strikes on Iran mean "the mothership of terrorism is sinking." Maybe so, and the sooner the better, but what the powers that be must recognize is that a lot of the crew were safely ashore in the US of A and other Western countries (Hello, Canada!) years ago!

1000s of Islamic terrorists -- jihadi wannabes -- have crossed our countries' porous borders as "asylum-seekers" or "refugees" fleeing the murderous Muslim regimes of the Islamic Republic of Iran and other states of the Middle East and northern Africa.

We welcome them as victims of oppression and treat them to housing, food, medical care and other benefits that our citizens have to work for and taxpayers pay for. Hell, we even give them money for "learing centers" where students learn to shout "Death to America!" and (of course) "Allahu akbar!"

One such is 53-year old Ndiaga Diagne, the black(ish) follower of the Prophet who shot up a bar in Austin TX early this morning, killing two people and wounding 14 others. Check out this video, and after that we'll tell you what the lickspittle media didn't.

What went unreported is that the murderer was wearing a sweatshirt that said "Property of Allah" and another shirt with an Iranian flag design. That's according to an unnamed law enforcement official and "another person familiar with the case", both of whom spoke to AP "on background" because they weren't authorized to tell the whole truth to the American people.

Ndiaga Diagne is originally from Senegal, according to multiple people briefed on the investigation. He is said to have come to the US of A in 2006 -- a winner in the Green Card Lottery perhaps -- and was a naturalized American citizen.

The FBI -- the same folks who said traditional Catholics are potential revolutionaries -- said its joint terrorism task force team members, as well as other specialty teams, were investigating, and that there were "indicators of terrorism" related to the shooting. No shit, Sherlock!
